"Strong People Stand Up For Themselves, But Stronger People Stand Up For Others" Years after my mother was faced with a devastating diagnosis, her condition progressed to the point of requiring 24 hour skilled nursing care. After finding the right long term care facility for my mother, I was faced with a litany of questions and concerns regarding Medicare/Medicaid regulations and guidelines, and how to protect my mother's assets from nursing home expenses.
