I totally agree with all the one star reviews. He really deserves 0 stars. I hired him as my divorce attorney in 2011 and it was finalized in 2013 bcuz I had to press the issue with him and my ex husband's attorney. I originally paid him 1500 and ended up paying 2000. He's worthless... I gave him all the proof of my ex domestic violence... his cheating etc. He coerced me to drop the restraining order. He's a crook! I agree with another one star rating. My God will pay him back for his dirty deeds in the mighty name ofJesus!

Lord knows I've been in and outta court all my life I wish I woulda met Michael much sooner. He's the best attorney I ever had I wish all other attorneys were like him. Thanks Michael. You are the best..

Horrible attorney don't trust him. Poor communication, racist. Take your money and you never will hear from him. He should I have his license revoked. He has a trial lawyer he is the worst. Don't trust them with a dead rat. The will try to resitate the dead rat and claim his gulitiness just to satisfy the prosecutor who I know her mom is ashamed she gave birth to her. Trust me you can call or email me I tell you the disloyalty before you retain. learn from my mistake.

I retained Michael in 2015 for a DUI and Speeding case. I found him honest and extremely capable. The Court extended the case out almost one year to accommodate the State Trooper's schedule. Mr. Thompson worked diligently at many pre-trial hearings to have the case dismissed but the Judge denied the motion at each hearing. The Prosecutor offered a plea deal that was not acceptable and we went to Jury Trail. The DUI was dismissed and the over 40 speed which I never contested received the minimum fine for the speeding buy Jury verdict. I hope I never need another attorney, but I would certainly choose Mr. Thompson again if I need quality legal advice and representation.

I am so thankful we hired Mr. Thompson for my daughters divorce case. He went above our expectations and fought for her. His paralegal Deisaray was very friendly, organized and helpful. I really felt that Mr. Thompson cared about our daughter and her case. I highly recommend him and his staff!

Run as fast as you can! This guy is worthless. He is not aggressive to help your case at all. Originally hired this person for an appeal. He missed the deadlines and ended the appellate process without notice. Found out by contacting the appeals court. Stated he would roll the fee into a Modification of Custody do to his incompetency. Should have went to the Board of Professional Responsibilities at this point. He drug my modification of custody case out for years and of course he sat on his worthless bump and did nothing to defend me in the courtroom while the opposing attorney lied through his teeth without any facts or evidence during the hearing. These people even cleared the courtroom to do their dirty work. Told my spouse to leave also. Good thing I have it all recorded. None of my witnesses were allowed to give testimony or my child and they were scheduled to testify. It was a set up. This guy changed offices and moved his practice to Kentucky and did not notify us. Never kept us to date on what was happening with the case. You had to call him he was above calling paying clients. He tells you not to show up for court because he was too busy cutting deals with the opposing attorney. Took my flat fee and did nothing. He is a perfect example that just because a person can pass the bar does not mean they need to be practice law. My God saw all of their evil doings. My God fights my battles so I am positive my God will handle this guy and evil agendas just like him accordingly.

My daughter had a follow up appointment to discuss child visitation/contempt... Mr Thompson was more concerned with getting home to see his son before leaving for Vanderbilt. He further shorted my daughter with 30 minutes of her appointment, hadn't even read her case prior to the appointment, acted as if she was the one in the wrong, and then he decides to argue with my husband on army retirement benefits.. ( hubby is 25 year combat veteran), Thompson told a LIE, saying he had to leave, yet he had another client sitting in the waiting room. What type of integrity does that show?? This attorney IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND ARROGANT, and seems to put his own family before the needs of his clients... If there was a way to make a 0 star, then that would be better. If you are a female, don't seek this counsel. You will be punished for being a mother,

Michael lied to me about a guilty plea deal based on lies my wife told on me! He didn't even put up a fight for me to save my Army Career! Michael knows nothing about Army rules! So if ur a soldier and you're looking for a good lawyer to represent you... Michael is not it! Turn around and get someone else worth your money! I wish I had!!!

I was completely misled me through the whole divorce and custody case... Further more to conclude with not notifying me about the final court case date and time until 1230 the day prior as I was also on the other side of the country.. Did not make it known to the judge that he did not notify me in order to have a new court date assigned. Along with would not and did not know how to Rebuttal of the ruling. The only reason thing's where completed along the way as they should have been where the persistence of myself and his secretary that was truly a helping hand. Conveniently following I had to cross country in order to retrieve my own records that where entrusted to him. Also to find out that conveniently following my case his secretary Megan did not work there anymore

Wish I did research before hiring this attorney. He made a huge mess of my case and was not very knowledgeable. If it wasn't for the one lady that did work for him (I believe her name is Megan), my case probably would have been far worse off then it was by the time I had decided to hire a different attorney.

Michael Thompson has by far been the best attorney that I have ever had the privilege of representing me. Mr. Thompson took the time care and consideration of gathering all information and readily available to his clients. Even if He was in court his secretary would set up a phone appointment within a 24 hr period to guarantee that his clients could speak to him and not passed over. Mr. Thompson goes above and beyond when most others brush you off. The compassion with which he serves his clients is immeasurable. He has a highly aggressive court side manner...I have dealt with many attorneys over the years and Mr. Thompson rates at the very top of my list and would trust no one else to handle a court case for me.
