Scott Barnhart assisted me in the process of firearm application and appeals. He was very well versed in all of the "ins" and "outs" of the process and was able to communicate directly with the individuals who handle this within the local government. I had a different attorney handling this prior to Mr. Barnhart and little no headway was made. Bradley Keffer is the WORST ATTORNEY I've come across yet. Don't waste your time or MONEY! I'm former military, college grad etc.. $800 bucks down the drain. Met him Once. After Keffer acknowledged on the phone during a taped recording that he would NOT take on an institution such as the Indianapolis Police Department EVEN IF THEY'RE IN THE WRONG.. (meaning he errs on the side of institution rather than JUSTICE).. WE FIRED HIM. He made other judgement errors as well. The pompous man was also rude to the child that was with me, didn't acknowledge the kid, say hello, nada. The young 7yr boy said to me, "That man was rude!" Additionally, Bradley Keffers secretaries were rude when I spoke with them. So... Do your research and you'll find other similar situations whereby people warn of dealings with the man. ~Mr. SpaceTime.

Bradley Keffer is nothing short of a saint...from the moment I first called (the admin assistants are always cheerful, friendly & patient) and throughout the process of working with him and his staff, I have been treated with compassion, dignity & respect. Criminal case and Title IX investigation I never expected to find myself involved a criminal case and a Title IX investigation. This has been the most stressful time of my personal and professional life. And, in a highly stressful situation it is not uncommon to make wrong decisions. The first and most critical decision is to find not only the right but the BEST legal representation. This firm offered me that. Mr. Keffer is a very knowledgeable, highly experienced, caring and trustworthy attorney that guided me through the whole process of my criminal and my administrative case providing me with the best outcome. He is aggressive and works on your best interest. He challenges the prosecution, he goes after ALL the facts and available evidence not only to prepare the defense but to fully understand the case. In a Title IX case you can not go alone. This is a very complex area of education law. It would have been a huge mistake for me to sit through an interview with out Mr. Keffer. The level of evidence required in these investigations is minimal in which only the words of the accuser seem to matter. Therefore, it is critical to have an experienced counsel that can help you challenge the "investigators" and the accuser by presenting facts and evidence in an orderly fashion. Mr. Keffer has knowledge of the disciplinary procedures and the rights I was entitled. And again, thanks to Mr. Keffer I was able to continue with my career. The attention that you get in this law firm from all the staff is superb from day one until the resolution of the case. I can not thank them enough.

I've had a good experience thus far. This attorney office knows what they are doing. I enjoy the staff, especially Brenda, she was so very helpful and kind with everything. Most of the staff was like that minus one lady who made me feel uncomfortable calling and asking questions. Other than that, wonderful. Mr. Barnhart is very blunt but his history rings well with whay he does now. He knows what he is doing. He does it well. The building is clean and nice. Located on the fourth floor, you have to use the elevator. Me trying to be healthier I've gotten used to using the stairs on IUPUI campus but this building fooled me for the doors are all exits, or that was the impression I recieved and I was too chicken to dare open doors without labels or ones that said emergency exit. Keep in mind, no local lot that I was aware of, arrive early to find, pay, and walk.
