Avoid Stephanie Gookins at all costs. She lacks any semblance of integrity. She was upfront about not wanting to take a difficult case. But took it anyway, ran thousands in fees then walked away weeks before the case was finalized. David Sieter and Rus Cate on the other hand are true professionals that look out for thier clients and put thier clients issues and concerns first. Highly recommend either of these gentleman, but if Stephanie is recommended to you, I highly recommend you look elsewhere.

I couldn't be more disappointed with this law firm. They came to me with the highest of recommendations from another lawyer who used their services in a personal case. My experience was full of nothing but very costly, time-consuming and frustrating disappointments. On first consultation, I was advised that my case would be short and sweet, and that owing to my precarious financial situation, CTG would accept payment for their services in a flexible manner. As the case unfolded over several (say, way too many) months, it became apparent from multiple phone calls that the CTG principles and associates were clueless about the details of my case. On at least two occasions, I was billed between $150 and $300 an hour to correct fundamental details I had already provided, or to help them find such information I had already provided the court and opposing council. CTG sent me bills expecting immediate payment for, among other reasons, petitioning the court on affairs related to my case that I neither sanctioned nor that were ultimately successful in bringing my case to a close.
