I had Mr. Decker represent me twice once in 2004 for drug charges which I was told originally by the judge that I was going to serve almost a year after we had struck a deal with the DA however Mr. Decker asked the judge for a 3 month reprieve before sentencing as an example of my changed life. I went back to court prepared for jail but got probation and drug treatment program. Thank God. Then I got a DUI in 2008 where I crashed into a house. I again called Mr Decker to represent me. He was able to negotiate a plea bargain for 6 months probation and alcohol treatment program. I was an idiot when I was younger however I was fortunate enough to have a good lawyer!!!!!

This guy is a lazy train wreck. Walking into court with him is your worst nightmare. Please trust me and get a real lawyer. Deckers is a joke. He will steal your money and make some sneaky deal with the prosecution that makes it easy for HIM. That is who he cares about. This guy ruined my life !

My name is Lindsey S. And I just read that slandering comment by obviously someone who is trying to make John look bad. I am actually a past client of his and was falsely accused of a crime and the court tried to give me a conspiracy charge to something I had no idea was happening with someone I was affiliated with at the time that was not the best of people but I was not involved. The courts tried to make me accept a plea deal and take a charge that should've just been dismissed but John said absolutely not. He cleared me completely and even had the event cleared from my name. Not only an amazing man in general but an excellent lawyer if you ask me the best in the tri-state, unquestionably. I just happened to come by this site because I wanted to check on the man that saved me and my family from a bunch of unnecessary hard times and a record I didn't deserve. Very personable and he cares, he was a friend to me and my mother in some very rough times. He did not have to go out of his way that he did for us. John you deserve those awards you received and they are well earned. Haters are going to hate. But this man is exactly who he says he is and respect that.
