Officers at entrance are rude (I know they're not supposed to be charming but everyone can be a little gentle and more helpful) , and this location doesn't help with anything related to social security CARDS

My revue is based on the cordial behavior of the security people at the arden way office in Sacramento. The office staff have mostly been acceptable however the people at the 800 number can sometimes not be nice, even arbitrary to your goals because they can not see you. I say go to the office near you and dont use the 800 number for any reason other than requesting income verification letter's, this is based on my 18 years of experience.

I've been here a few times, it's always better to go in the afternoon, 2-4 pm. It's less crowded with people, the security guards are real nice too

I like it this is less crowded and security guards are usually very polite as are the staff. I know some people have problems with the Social Security Dpt., but that's going to happen with any institution. For the most part this is one of the best Social Security offices ever been to.

Website says open until 3:30. When I get there the door is locked with sign that says closed at 12 noon on Wednesday. Cost me $120 in lost wages.

Rude security services and i got ticket they called me and they said me have seat and we will call your name but iwaited here more than 2 hours and nobody doesn't call me....

Came in with my parents to help translate and as soon as we sat down at interview station #11, the female (maybe her name was Vicky, middle eastern woman) "helping" us was RUDE from the very first word she spoke to us. Maybe she had a bad morning, maybe people make her hate her job, but to be treating people she's meeting for the first time in the way she did, that's just disrespectful. Felt as though she thought she was so mighty to be treating others so low. The tone of her voice was not welcoming, was NOT helping, and was just rude as if we had done something to wrong her. The whole hour there, her attitude never changed. For someone her age (maybe late 40s), it just came off rude and immature.

They Have completely Destroyed my disabled child's SSI case. They had to close down our tech case and start up with a paper case. Causing huge issues for my daughter's income and this month we now got NO SSI CHECK! Now, she goes with out her funds that help her survive until I go back down there and start ANOTHER appeal! Place totally Sucks Balls! If you have an option to use another office, then go THERE! Trust Me!

I got a pushy brash Russian lady "Tatianna"... She cut me off and would not connect me to the person I had left a message to call me back the previous day.... She proceeded to micro manage with rudeness and abruptness I am not accustomed to. It's bad enough my tax dollars go to sponsor these Russians into our bloated imagree nation, but I have to contend with their typical rudeness when I call an American institution that me and all my ancestors have paid into for decades, just to be treated like I am in a breadline in Leningrad? Next time I will,ask to speak to a person whose first language is English.

Got there around 12:15 on a Friday. It wasn't very crowded and everyone was kind and helpful.

I’m leaving 5 stars just for the security guards who are professional, well-behaved , kind , and very friendly. I’m so shocked that they didn’t ask me any personal questions,and just did their jobs . Before there were two other security guards who were asking lots of personal questions, and if you minded it , then they gave you dirty looks which was annoying. The Office employees are fine not rude and not friendly. Lol . I took my mom last year , and one of the employees did the interview with her , and told her that she will be receiving an updated later of her income in 3 to 5 business days . But unfortunately poor lady waited for almost a year , during this wait time she call The Social Security tool free number like it is going out of style , and they told her that everything is fine and she is good to go. So after almost a year she received a letter stating that your SSI is going to be over if she won’t submit the additional documents which she submitted already last year . Poor lady went through all problems,and start all over again repeating herself . So now it is your choice that you want to go there or not because I’m not recommending this location for friends and families.

Listen....it ain't as much a head ache.. any more. These comments previous to mine sound like your walking into sunshine...not quite....basically, professional and proficient... That's About it.. Your still a #....so wait patiently ladies and gentlemen...lol

Would give it zero stars if I could. They make you wait for hours like it's no big deal. I sat at this location for 3 hours and they called me 3 times, kept saying you will be helped. Do not come to this location, or if you do, be prepared to sit here for at least 2 hours.

I want to leave 10 stars , but just for the security guards who are really very friendly, and well behaved. I was shocked when I enter the office because they were treating everyone equally plus with the same manner.
