I could not be happier with Maggi and the team. They looked over my past tax years at no charge and found that a large tax bill I had from 2014 could be amended. I had previously worked with a tax person on this tax issue regarding a short sale I had on my home, and that person had completely overlooked and/or didn't have the knowledge this team had. I decided to amend the 2014 taxes, and their fee was extremely reasonable and affordable. I received my amended tax return of about $2,000 in the mail yesterday! I am so glad my friends referred me to them, and now I'll be doing the same! They're also really nice and honest, which is huge to me during stressful tax seasons.

I normally don't write reviews, but after the exemplary service I received from John and his amazing staff, I definitely wanted to write one to share my experience. My old tax guy that I went to for years passed away, so I was in dire need of tax help. I had what I thought was a complex and difficult tax situation for my 2014 taxes. When I did the preliminary numbers on turbo tax, my tax bill was estimated to be around 4 GRAND! Yikes. After getting recommendations from friends but not happy with my experiences with other tax guys, I stumbled upon the OC tax geek when I googled BEST CPA in orange county. I'm am soooooo thankful I did. John with his astute knowledge of the tax code, was able to get me a refund!!! Now that's great work. So if you are in need of a tax guy, John at OC tax geek is the man you MUST see! I'm college educated and I know when someone passes the eyeball test. And this place does. It Rocks!!!! Heck they even help clients from out of state, out of the country. Other people in other parts of the world get their taxes done here. Definitely RUN to see these guys.
