I obtained a consult with Mr. Hickey. He was pleasant and his legal aide was as well. I had sent documents for their review and never had a response. I called their office and was told they never received an email with the documents. I handle as much as I could on my own and it came down to time to actually hire Mr. Hickey to help. I called to speak to Courtney and she wasn't available and the person asked me if I had paid a retainer. I said no and it seems that is the point we are at. She stated there was no figure or amount for a retainer listed and that her or Courtney would call me back with the amount for me to be able to proceed that day or the next. I never received the call. I feel that in order to talk to them you have to have paid them money. I had paid 80.00 dollars just for a consult. Seems they are too busy, don't care or don't want to be bothered.

Kevin Hickey handled a horrible custody battle for me in 2014. I was a frantic mess and he handled the entire ordeal with ease. It could have been a very ugly court battle; however, Kevin settled it outside of court in less than two weeks. His response time is a standard in which all attorneys should strive to imitate.
