Recently our firm decided to reach out to Whibbs Stone Barnett and princippaly Mr Ryan Barnett's to inquire if he could handle a business dispute in Pensacola FL. We explained the case to Mr. Barnetts assistant and offered a $5000-$10,000 retainer in advance. She advised that I must first setup a phone consultation with Mr. Barnett and pay in advance $250. We questioned what the consultation was for? She advised it was for Mr. Barnett to tell us if he was interested in taking the case. We advised her that we explained our business dispute to her and could she just ask Mr. Barnett if he was interested and let us know? She advised it was illegal for her to do, which made absolutely no sense. We are not interested in paying Mr Barnett $250 for him to tell us whether he is interested in our case or not, especially after we already explained all the facts to his assistant and made it very clear we are prepared to pay him a retainer today. A total waste of time calling this firm.

If I could go back and not have chosen Greg Whibbs as my lawyer, I would. I should have just gone with a public defender, he/she would have gotten me the same thing G. Whibbs did. I was not happy with his performance or his lack of communication with me as well as him showing up late for most of my court dates while I sat there in a panic. His assistant or paralegal Liz, is not helpful either. I would not suggest this firm or these individuals to anyone for any case.
