We have worked with Andrew on several projects over the years. As a builder, we work with a lot of different architects and design professionals. Andrew has always been one of the best and easiest to work with. HIs plans are accurate and detailed, he understands what the current costs of construction are, and he communicates well with the client and the builder. Another great quality of Andrew's is that he listens to the guys in the field and is open to value added engineering. This ensures that not only will a project look amazing but that it will last a long time. Andrew and his team always get a referral from us when our clients are selecting architects.

As you can see from my rating that I give Andrew, Kat and Volansky Studio the highest praise. He and Kat were very professional and responsive. They were client friendly and listened and wanted our feedback. Rarely was Andrew adamant about his idea or concept on a particular part of our renovation, yet when he was we agreed and understood. The finished product says it all! It takes time AND effort to build rapport with a new relationship and my wife and I did exactly that with Andrew, but more importantly he did that with us.

My experience with Andrew Volansky and Volansky Studio is one that my wife and I are Happy to endorse. We were introduced through our builder, but had already heard whispers around town about their work. This being the first home we ever built, we were expecting complex jargon and technical talk well over our heads. But we committed, like any good stewards of such a process, to learn and grow with what was about to occur. The good news is upon our first meeting, we were happy to learn that Volansky spoke plain english in a way that immediately resonated with my wife and I. What we found is that he understood our vision, understood our budget and took what we gave him along with his expansion of those idea’s, and simply wowed us on our second visit with preliminary drawings. I would like to say that our process with Volansky was seamless. He and his team were a delight to work with and their willingness to collaborate, leveraging their expertise with our dreams was one that I can honestly say was one of the best experiences of this entire process. We would unquestionably recommend Volansky Studio to anyone looking to embark on such a project. They are creative and really in tune with the Vermont landscape. Every facet of our home was designed with precision. The back of our home displays windows in each room meticulously framing the mountain at its most perfect view. Andrew’s attention to detail and open-minded approach to design, guided the project, along with his ability to problem solve and communicate effectively. We selected Volansky Studio to work with us to design a very specific architectural style for our new lake home in Vermont. Since this is a dream home for us, the choice of an architect is key. We were more than thrilled with the results. Andrew Volansky and his team, notably Kathleen Thatcher, are wonderful to work with: creative, innovative, flexible, budget-conscious and responsive. What we liked best was that they listened to us and actually heard what we wanted. Designing a dream home is a challenging journey. And before you begin, If you are lucky you may be reminded, that one of the most important things you need to feel is that you communicate well with your architect. I felt this way right away with Andrew Volansky. He came with me and my real estate agent to look at sites, and from that I knew that he was accessible, knowledgeable about so many things, beyond the house, that are factors, and able to provide valuable input. And, importantly, I felt we communicated so well. It was fun! Together we designed the perfect house for my purposes and my site, pictures to follow after we build! Andrew is a very talented and creative architect, and he can meet you where you are to help you get to your goal. I trust him to incorporate my ideas and deliver an even better product, and saw that happen multiple times throughout the process. I believe that the time spent in design is so important;; don't skimp there!
