The moment I met Al, I knew my search was over. After our initial meeting, he came over to my existing house to ask questions about my likes and dislikes. Al and his team translated my vision into a design I could have never imagined. He was available to answer any questions throughout the building phase to help make the process seamless. We could not be more happy with our experience working with Al Tozer and the Tozer Design team. After years of searching, we found our dream property on 40 acres just west of Bend. We had an idea of the house we wanted to build, and needed someone to understand our vision and be able to to translate it into not only a workable/buildable design but bring meaningful elements that were beyond our scope. We were seeking added value that would ultimately go beyond creating a house… and create a home. We did our research and chose three firms to consider. We first met with Al and there was no need to go further... he just got it, and we ended our search. Al and his team truly listened to our thoughts and ideas and created a design and indeed an experience that met or exceeded our expectations on every level. We felt as though they considered our home as they would consider their own… that our project was as meaningful to them as it was to us. We felt Tozer Design not only understood our vision and had the unique skills to bring it to life, but that they had our backs - nothing was going to slip through the cracks. Lastly, I know a lot of people that have had frustrating and challenging experiences building homes. My wife and I could not have enjoyed the experience more. Al and his team were a delight to work with… AND it was under budget!

Al Tozer is a brilliant designer. He brings positive energy to every meeting, which becomes contagious. His designs are modern, sophisticated, restrained, intellectually rigorous, environmentally sustainable, and exquisitely tasteful. He carefully considers his client's needs and helps tease out the little design nuances that will make a client extra happy when the job is done. He gives particular consideration to bringing natural light into his buildings, creating light and bright interiors. Al communicates clearly, he is open to client input throughout the design process, and he easily collaborates with other consultants. I highly recommend him.
