Rule 3.103 Members shall not materially alter the scope or objectives of a project without the client’s consent. Jame never had my consent and I will be taking James Furkis of Furkis Architectural Consulting to small claims court. Their is no integrity in what he has done! The contract was breached. Rendering of my schematic is what the contract says. Its very clear that I hired James to do a computer drawing of a sketch he received from me. He was also provided a list of non wavering fundamentals that were totally disregarded. He tryed to completely change the aesthetics of my house. I have proof that my Design is not breaking Michigan Building Code and is well within the guidelines of the MBC. James changed the details of the original colum size to add brackets due to excess uplift that dosent exist. When I didn't agree he snapped went off the deep end and he never provided me with uplift calculations or a data sheet so I could consult with MY structural engineer. Where are the calculations for uplift so they can be coroberated with a engineer? Post them here for everyone to see? We will be taking you to small claims court. Everything from day one was recorded on my phone. I have service connected disabilities that have been upset due to the way you treated me. You were not professional. I need a full refund due to the fact that I still have no foundation plans that meet the original site projection and fundamentals. James has the money from me and thinks it's ok to ripoff people and leave them with nothing. I had to ask for a contract because he wasn't going to provide one. I will post some emails and the contract mabe other stuff to show his lack of Integerty. James was also provided connection details from a Simpson strong tie engineer that would fit my colum size so their is no excuse for this. I have proof of all this recorded. James is a thief and will likely try to force and bully you into his design. When you disagree or question him he gets mean and runs with your cash leaving behind scraps of the proposed deal. He has tryed to justify with lies of all sorts. Well proof dosent lie james. See you in court!
