I have had the privilege of working with the design team at Ellipsis on multiple projects at two of my businesses. At Matilda, a 20 year old bar and restaurant, the creative team at Ellipsis was able to take a basic description of an idea I had to re-skin a 15’x50’ wall and turn it into reality. The result is the main focus of the updates that were completed to bring a 30 year old bar up to date. Additionally, the team was able to design a new primary and secondary logo for Matilda to launch in coordination with these changes. Their collective ability to comprehend the ideas discussed during the investigation phase of development set him apart from all other persons I have worked with in the creative and construction fields. At the Lone Girl Brewing Company, Ellipsis has worked with us on everything from the initial layout of floor plans to material selection, color palette, and logo development. As is the case with all startups, timelines become tight for task completion. The team at Ellipsis has exceeded our expectations to come through in a pinch, and has truly been an asset to our team. The Ellipsis team have been an absolute pleasure to work with. I first reached out to Ellipsis in the spring of 2014 with a very raw and unpolished idea of simply wanting to renovate our facility. Where do we even start with writing this review?! Paul from Ellipsis was nothing short of amazing! Our dreams came to life with the look our office, and we owe it all to Paul! Paul was personable, flexible, and caring when it came to working with us. He took our ideas and made them even better than we could have ever imagined. Our office is the typical "Chicago space", long and narrow, and he allowed us to be creative yet still give the space an open and spacious feel. From paint colors, vibe, and architectural design- he nailed it! He even made a point to come see our space a week after our opening just to make sure everything was going smoothly. We don't know many other companies who would do that! Paul and Ellipsis- we can't thank you enough! You have gone from business partner to friend, and for that we are very thankful.
