I'm in the development business so I'm pretty familiar with energy efficiency but Sam introduced me to a technology called Passivhaus. While it's been used for years in Europe Sam is one of the leaders in the US to promote what I believe eventually will be far more popular than LEAD certification.

I am entirely pleased with the work Sam Rodell did for us. Can't say enough to convey his level of expertise. 25 years later, the house he designed for us is still loved and cherished. Wouldn't change one thing!

Sam did a fantastic job of designing our dream home. He did an artistic job of blending our needs and dreams with the unique feature of the site. The house and the surroundings compliment one another so well they seem to flow together. Sam is a delight to work with.

I used to live in Sandpoint and it requires a very special sort of architect to work there and Sam Rodell is certainly of that ilk. Anything he designs and builds will add to a community rather than diminish it.
