The team of Joe Mackin and Jeff Dolan at Period Architecture are passionate about creating and restoring historical homes and buildings that are reminiscent of the detail and craftsmanship of a bygone era. It is for that reason that we entrusted Joe and Jeff to design and execute on the creation of a 2-story addition to our 1920’s Okie house. It was important to us that the addition reflect the integrity of Okie’s colonial revival style. Joe and Jeff not only delivered on the vision but further enhanced the beauty and charm of our home while making it a livable space to relax in. Indeed, we regularly receive compliments on how seamless the transition is between the old portion of the house and new. The team at Period Architecture were easy to work with, showed much patience in partnering with us to incorporate our views and perspectives and provided us their skilled guidance to create a beautiful and authentic addition. Exceptional. Period Architecture designed a bespoke kitchen, family room, and master suite addition for our 200-year-old home and exceeded our expectations. Our project was more modest in size compared to many of their large scale homes, but Joe and Jessica put forth the same level of detail, creativity, and thoughtfulness in designing our dream home.
