The Jeannette Architects (JA) team provided excellent service from the first meeting to their final visit to see our completed project. The JA team thought creatively about the challenges we faced with our small home and lot size. They were able to find the right approach and solutions to meet our needs. They were advocates for us with the planning office in the city where we reside. The planners made requests for changes which made no logical sense and, if needed, would have put an end to our project. Jeff, Stephanie (our project manager) and the whole JA team worked hard to make our home a more comfortable and beautiful place to live!

We hired Jeannette Architects for a large project that included plans for a complete remodel of our existing home and an addition of 700 sq. ft of living space plus 200 sq. ft of covered deck. We are so happy with the results, Jeff and his team did a great job. There was constant communication and meetings during the whole process to make sure no details were missed. The construction process went very smoothly and there were no surprises along the way, the detailed work and planning that Jeannette Architects provided during the design phase paid off. They also provided valuable advice throughout the whole design and construction process, and were very responsive whenever we had questions or concerns.

This is a long overdue review for Jeannette Architects, who 10 years ago completely redesigned our craftsman bungalow in Long Beach (Belmont Heights). During the 7-month project, we had one baby in diapers and another one on the way...probably not the best time to do a whole-house remodel. We charged ahead anyway. And even though there were stressful moments, those moments were always moderated by the calm stewardship of Jeff, his wife and business partner Roberta, and the rest of the Jeannette team. They knew what they were doing, and we clearly understood we were in good hands. The positive impression developed quickly, in our first meeting with Jeff, when he carefully listened to our thoughts and then sketched several design options he thought would work for us. These on-the-spot sketches were super detailed and creative, and one of them ultimately served as the basis for our remodel. To us, what makes Jeff so good at what he does is that he is an excellent communicator as well as a great architect. As a result, he is able to talk to you, pull from your words an optimal project vision, and then carefully put that vision into an official plan. Jeff and the rest of Jeannette Architects gave us a house that we love, and for that we are eternally grateful. We are not alone in these feelings; most of our neighbors who have renovated their homes have used Jeannette Architects, and all of them, like us, sing loudly their praise. I can't recommend more highly this company.
