This Zoo is included in the category of Bakery.
Some of the best tasting food ever.
Great place for Amish produce and groceries.
Lots to see, and the homemade food delicious. Must see place to go with family and friends
Fun place and great produce and bakery items. The cinnamon rolls are to die for!!!
Yum...wonderful food. I always buy the kettle corn that the Amish gentleman makes right out side the place.
Great place to visit with your kids. Mine love coming here, you get to hold all the animals. They have a nice gift shop and little market.
A little bit of everything that makes Amish country so pleasant!
The absolute best place around. Hands down! Superb baked goods and produce. Their jams are super tasty and the petting zoo is such a great place to visit for the old and young. We drive about two hours to go here, always worth it, always.
Fresh produce, meat, cheese, and plenty of baked goods. Awesome fry pies. Loved it
Lots of homemade goodies and samples on site to try before you buy.
Love this place, we go every time we're in town.
Great place to take a family they have a huge petting zoo full of al different kinds of domestic animals and they also give horse back rides to kids and adults with Amish buggy rides and wagon rides to their pumpkin patch in the fall I highly recommend this place if you have a family with kids
Have always loved the fry pies, but lately they have not been filled completely. Cream sticks are awesome.
The staff is really friendly. The lunch at the food truck was excellent and don't forget the homemade ice cream
I really enjoyed walking around and seeing everything in their prices are pretty reasonable
Love it! Go every year for pumpkins
So good. Amish home made. Still have a strawberry crumble in the freezer.
A friend recently surprised me with a trip to this place and I couldn't have been more happy! Where else can you get amazing homemade food, fry pie and watch a goat give birth? A very unique experience and the baby animals are just adorable!
Oh so many cheeses turn the corner an low n behold there to my wondering eyes n tast buds a bakery. It's really a nice place. I cant pass the Amish popcorn man out side the smell of the burger ing wood under the old kettle n popcorn smell it takes me back to my child hood. Go visit you will love it.
Amish inside and out!! Very friendly people beautiful animals for the child in you or your children, crafts galore, and oh my gosh the bakery .. if you're on a diet stay away! Look away from the light! It's the most amazing, fresh, delicious baked goods. And they always have a good bit of fresh produce that you have to have because it's not covered in pesticides and the flavors are amazing!!
Lots of great produce. Nice baby animal petting zoo
They have the best donuts homemade! You just have to make sure you get there early or your not going to get any! They run out very quickly no matter how many they make!
I don't know where to start...so much good food to choose from. There's an assortment of baked goods. I recommend the donuts and fry pies. They also have meats, cheeses, and different salsas, dips, and jams. Just outside is fresh fruits and vegetables. Outside in the barn is a petting zoo and pony ride. You can also take a horse and buggy ride around the farm. There is a shopping area too. They sell antiques and Americana type stuff.
One of our "Go To Spots" when we're in Amish country OH. Great fresh fruits & vegetables. Great baked goods (cinnamon rolls & cream sticks to die for). Cheeses, trail bologna, jerky, canned goods, other bulk foods.
Great baked goods. The produce looks fresh.
Good selection, always fresh and reasonably priced!!
awesome variety of fresh produce and decor
We have visited for years, sorry to see that you have to pay for the petting barn now. Love their fry pies.
Wonderful family experience! Featured are various kinds of baked goods, farm produce, handcrafted toys, leather goods etc. Also included is probably one of the largest petting zoos with as an extensive variety of animals that you can Pet and Feed.
This place is so nice. The bread and cinnamon rolls are so good. We talked to Abe our at the buggy rides. What a nice man we talked about family and traveling. Anyone going there needs to take some time to talk to him. Ask if he is whittling a chain. He is amazing. Great prices and great food. Thank you
Home made bake goods. Great hand made wood items
Great place to stop for some family fun.
Second year we've taken our grandson he always gets to do the horse ride and wagon right to get his pumpkin for Halloween He's five he loves it . Plus they take very good care of their petting zoo. Stores good to though
Great fun for kids and very reasonable
Best place to go for a family in Amish Country. Lots of fun with the animals, affordable, and great produce and baked goods.
The best cream stick donuts! Expanded petting zoo area that is well worth the admission price. Great stop for the whole family. Enjoy lunch out back with some burgers and onion rings. Grab a bag of fresh kettle corn. If you have time, ride the horse drawn buggy to the pumpkin patch to pick your own pumpkin! The price of the ride is deducted from your pumpkin purchase. You can easily spend 2-3 hours here with kids.
This is always my first stop when coming to Amish country. They have massive donuts that are amazing nowhere else has them like Hershberger’s. The only thing is they do repackage candy like gummy bears and jolly ranchers for a bigger price so I wouldn't buy that their but most everything else they make themselves. They have amazing pies fresh and frozen ones if you're not planning on eating it right away. They also accept credit cards which is a big plus because most places they don't. If you go to Hershberger’s you must go over to the petting zoo across the street but unfortunately, it doesn't open up until 10:00. So get your donut eat your donut go do other things like Gugesburg and Hinis and then come back to pet the animals like goats chickens horses and you can even hold and buy a bunny.
Love this Amish country market. All home grown product and local made jams, salsas, cheese's and chocolate items. Very reasonable prices. Plus petting zoo and buggy rides.
Grandkids loved petting the animals.
Great fun for the family. Kettle corn to die for.
Had fun! More than just a food stop -although plenty of yummy baked goods and canned items! Animals were quite enjoyable
Petting zoo, horse and pony rides, horse and buggy rides, food stand, the produce and baked goods store were all excellent.
Always enjoy going to this place. Good food and atmosphere, everyone is so friendly there also.
Very nice but there starting to think they are more than they are. Case in point, who would buy a season pass to the petting zoo???
First time visiting Hershburgers Market. Great way to spend an afternoon. From fresh vegetables, to fresh baked goods, yum. Prices on garden items reasonable, as well as a large variety of cheese and canned foods. Craft shop was a bit disappointed, items are beautiful but way over priced. Still enjoyed myself and tasted some of the best homemade ice cream. The kettle corn absolute deliousness.
Home food that was awesome. People are very nice!
A great place to get produce! Always fresh and oh so good! There is a gift shop too!
Always love this place. So much in one place. The fresh bread rolls are the best. It's a must if you stop here.
Fun variety of animals, many with babies or young that the kids will enjoy petting. $3 per person is reasonable for the amount of time you can spend.
My almost 2 year old absolutely loved the petting zoo! She loved petting them and feeding them! Such a fun day!
Great place for children to interact with farm animals
This was quite the place for the kids and the shops were very interesting. We got some chicken nuggets for a snack for the kids and they were LEGIT! Really with we could have tried some more food there. The only ding for me is that the prices for their merchandise seemed a bit steep. But all in all it was a great place to take kids. Beautiful location as well.
Absolutely every parent should bring their kids to this place. Amazing. I love the selection of foods. Crafts. Antiques. Petting area is extraordinary. Big Ben is a majestic beast of a horse. Biggest equine I’ve ever seen. Out of this world burgers and treats. We took a buggy ride with sweet Ol Abe. What a lovely experience. I wish they had classes of their old ways. So many people would benefit from that. The old ways are nearly gone. If not for the Amish it could be lost completely soon.
Great place to find lots of handmade toys and other things
Fry pies were not as full as we would like, crust very thick and chewy. Swiss cheese had an odd taste to it. Enjoyed the goats on the roof though.
A great market with tons of homemade pastries, snacks, food and they have some great flavored ciders. They also have a petting zoo, which was fun. Pretty animals and the biggest horse I've ever seen. I highly recommend visiting!
Really reasonable prices. Very nice homemade style baked goods. Never had a fry pie until the other day! Super good! Also has a crazy large variety of jams and jellies!
Bring your children to this petting farm, they'll not forget it..... very nice experience for them to enjoy! And the milk is not the same as we're used to here in the urban areas.... DELICIOUS! Wish I could go every week for that milk!
Wonderful place to take the family!
Love their bake goods! They also have a nice petting zoo. This place is a must for us when we come to amish country
Great Fun for Kids and Wonderful snacks for Parents.
Fresh vegetables, cheese, meats and amazing baked goods..... great place to buy flowers also in the spring thru fall. Huge baskets, great prices
My mother and I had a wonderful time! We absolutely love the farm animals!
Expanded petting zoo. Good family fun.
Such a fun place to bring a family. Recommend the kettle corn and beef sticks. Great place for little kids.
Fun for kids. Petting zoo is a must go. Buggy rides are short but fun for young kids. Very reasonable prices. Food and ice cream available. We didn't catch the pony rides since we arrived late afternoon. You can easily spend 2-3 hours.
They have every farm animal you can think of. They have huge horses to get a ride along. The buggy ride is very informative. But from all the one that took the cake for us is the long horn bull. He was the most gentle creature and he came put of his shed just for use to pad him in the back. Amazing creature.
This group of shops has some really good quality things to get. They have a good bakery and a nice shop where there is some nice furniture and a good selection of flowers. They also have a place to see and feed farm animals which is fun, it does cost money to get into now though. My family always gets the kettle corn they make here because you can get it fresh!
Very friendly and warm place to visit. The store has a lot of unique gifts and handmade items. The baked goods in the store were delicious. The goats on top of the building made the visit. Would recommend and go there again if given the opportunity.
Love that place. Great bakery. cheese produce in season. Grandchildren love the animals.
Our first visit here was a great experience. The breads were very fresh and plentiful. They have a large selection of fry pies, which tasted fresh. They also had a large amount of pumpkins and gourds. We also had to have a gallon of their apple cider.
Very nice farm market in Amish Country. Gift shop with antiques, leather and wood items. Food market with baked goods, meats, candy, fresh vegetables and fruit. Also a small restaurant/ food trailer with burgers, fries etc. Petting zoo for the kids for $. Very clean. Would visit again!
Always a good place to visit. Super good home made baked good. Home grown produce too.
Great fresh fruits. Best homemade bread I've had in a while
After three days of hard work, we had a great time at the petting farm. It was a lighthearted treat and inexpensive for adults. The staff were very friendly.
Great place to take young kids (for the farm petting barn/zoo! Amish buggy rides. Gift shop with a bakery and lots of produce and veggies, a food truck style burger n hot dog trailer. Kettle corn cooked on sight.
Best petting zoo I've ever seen. Great snacks and beautiful horses.
Somewhat disappointed. Went last year and it was really well organized. This year it was very scattered brained. Wish this place cared for the animals. It seems like they really just use them for show. Sad..
We have been going to Hershbergers for years. When we went this year I felt it was about money and quality not as good. Sad to say but they will not be on our list of stops next time.
Lovely little petting zoo here . I enjoyed walking almost the cute little goats and chickens . They have buggy rides and a farm shop where you can purchase an array of the baked goods like fried pies which are really good too . Nice place to take your little one or yourself if your still little at heart .
Great baked goods but VERY DISSAPOINTED they charge to go and pet the animals. They charge enough as it is for their stuff let alone charge to pet the animals. They NEVER use to charge. Come on people, really??
We loved it All
Really cool experience! We went with the family and they loved the opportunity to walk among the petting zoo animals. The farmers market fruit was the best we've ever had! Huge blackberries, super sweet and ripe peaches, and a huge selection of baked goods! The only caution is that the baked goods dont have preservatives in them (since they are fresh baked) so dont buy a ton thinking you are going to eat on them for several days. All of the yeast based donuts and pastries really need to be eaten same day for freshness.
You have to try the Fry pies! They are fantastic. We got them one day and had to go back the next day to get 12 more.
This is always a neat place to visit. From the "general store" to the produce/bakery store to the "petting zoo", there is something for everyone. My wife and I took an Amish buggy ride, courtesy of Abe (the driver), who was very nice, and shared many details about the area with us. Highly recommended.
We love it, have been going there since it was just one little garage.
The veggies and fruit are priced great and very fresh. The employees are very friendly.
Wonderful! Such a great selection with reasonable prices! The store is very clean and the help is very nice.
A must stop when you visit Ohio’s Amish country! They have a very nice petting zoo in the warmer months, wonderful homemade Amish foods and baked goods, home grown produce. Also a cute little gift shop/antique shop!
This place is great, great food selection and all the food was reasonably priced. They have a wonderful selection of apples and I was floored by how cheap they were. 18 per bushel. I am used to paying 3 bucks per pound for good apples. The overall experience is very charming and you will receive excellent help. They also have a huge selection of homemade jellies, jams, pickled items, relishes, mustards, artisan cheeses and meats too. Worth a stop if you are in town.
Love this place. Great produce, sweet treats, and canned goods. Fresh bread and fry pie. Something for everyone!! Also a petting zoo for the kiddies for a small fee!!! Always a great stop when visiting Amish Country!!
Ok let's start off with great time with the kids. So friendly a must see. Carriage rides and a petting zoo. Great food.
Love this place except I gain weight every visit
Always a pleasure to visit. A wide variety of home made baked goods. The place is usually packed on the weekends with tourists. Several registers for checking out so the lines move quickly. Fresh locally grown veggies are available during the growing season. Kettle corn is available and the fragrance of wood smoke is nice. The petting zoo is a special treat for families with children. It is a dangerous place for anyone wanting to loose weight!
Great selection of cheese. We love the smoked Gouda! Love ordering from the food stand and looking out over the countryside! Awesome kettle corn made on site!
Love Hershberger's Farm all the time, but especially in the early fall! Eating hot dogs outside, fresh produce and baked goods, pumpkins and mum's galore. What's not to love?!
You have to try the Hersh Burger if you go! The best burger in the state of Ohio! Afterwards the home made ice cream is a plus. The kids enjoy the petting farm every time along with the pony and Amish buggy rides.
Best bakery I have ever been to. The atmosphere is wonderful and so many baked goods and fresh produce.
Baked goods delicious and fresh, kids love the animals and atmosphere. Produce great n people too. A must visit place
I nice little market with a good selection of quality local foods.
I stopped here on a recommendation of a friend. Great selection and choice of farm fresh food and prepared items both canned and baked. There's a really cool collection of used items on a barn if you are interested in vintage stuff for your house.
Great place to get produce, baking products, cheese, and such
Great prices. Quality products
We come here every year! The best baked goods!
Excellent get away from city hustle and bustle. They have delicious pies, veggies and fruits. They also have beef jerky and sweet snacks. Also they sell leather belts and hats. I didn't list everything but I recommend stopping by for a visit.
Wonderful variety of items. Great place to go see
This farm is great, our whole family enjoyed it very much. Very friendly service, as you can see in the picture for example a really nice man preparing popcorn - which we bought and enjoyed a lot. They also have a beautiful petting zoo, a store with antique and typical Amish things as well as a grocery store where for example the Guggisberg Baby Swiss Cheese was even a little cheaper than at the Guggisberg facility itself.
I love this place but I was pretty disgusted by the poor sheep whos hair was so long he could barely see not to mention it was really hot the day we were there. I have never seen one so bad. As much money as this place makes you would think they could afford to keep it properly sheared. Its such a shame hope this changes soon.
It has all sorts of wonderful baked goods that are fresh daily.
Great time. Friendly staff. Kids and adults really enjoyed the petting zoo
Absolutely love it here! They have such amazing foods and jams. The kettle corn is simply delicious and the peanut butter donuts. They also have a little shop there too and it has so many different and unique items. They are so friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend them!
Great store great people. Great merchandise. A step back in time. We love the place.
Lots of good treats, a destination for desserts
I tried to make a deal with the store for a cast iron pot.but 50 dollars was all that stopped the sale. But was a beautiful day there. Boy what a big horse.
Great place. Fresh baked goods, apple cider. There's a petting zoo for the kids and parents alike. All kinds of gourds and mums for Autumn.
Great place. Bring the kids, they'll love the petting zoo. Great fresh produce and baked goods. Crafts and leather goods as well.
Great kid friendly place! Paid $5 total for my entry ($3) plus animal food. Animals are well cared for and some roam free! Bakery has so much variety and prices are decent.
Fresh from the garden fruits and vegetables, best cinnamon rolls, pies, canned goods, homemade candy!! Not to be missed!!
Always enjoy stopping here. Kettle corn
Great place to take the kids! Had so much fun
Everything and everyone are wonderful! Everyone is so nice and helpful when you need assistance, animals are active and playful, wagon ride to the pumpkin patch is a fun and great experience especially for the little ones, and the food is amazing! Definitely recommend going and enjoying a lovely day on the farm.
Unique Amish gifts, petting zoo and market. Beautiful area and friendly people.
Awesome place. Flowers, food, gifts, petting zoo, buggy rides, you name it. Hershbergers is a must visit when down in the Berlin/Charm area.
Fresh, fresh and pleasant people. A true rarity
It's one of the coolest places in Holmes County. Something for everyone. Especially in the fall.
We loved the petting farm; it had a great variety of animals of all sizes, even featuring a gigantic horse which was great to see. The kids got to pet all the animals and even carried some of them around. For a petting zoo, it was very clean and didn't have a strong smell. Lots of sanitizing stations around. They sell food and it was fun to feed the animals. The store and market weren't that great, but most people go there for the petting zoo and farm so the place does the trick.
Extremely busy. Good quality. Great place to bring kids.
Fresh baked items like cream filled sticks, the best and biggest cinnamon rolls with icing, cookies, tarts and more. Huge variety of jams and jellies that are delicious! A man was making kettle corn and it was wonderful. The produce was fresh and beautiful. They have a petting zoo and food stand. Everything was clean and organized. The staff was very nice. We will go again soon.
The Amish people were so polite and kind not to mention all the samples they had out were
Very interesting place. Had some good tastings with very pleasant people! Came away with a couple of pies.
Liked it a lot better when you didn't charge to go through the barn. Don't you think you make enough money just selling the animal feed cones that everyone buys so they can feed the animals. We used to go several times a year now it's just like any other overpriced petting zoo. You can get the Amish goods anywhere now. I didn't appreciate being asked by 3 different girls to show my receipt for the hanging baskets I bought. Made me feel like a theif.
We went out to the pumpkin patch and it was very crowded and commercial. Definitely better for older kids, nothing for little ones or parents with littles.
Very nice. Our Fry pies were still warm!!!
My granddaughter loves this place. They have a great petting zoo and pony rides for the kids. They also have gift shops and fruit market for the grownups.
Love visiting here. The fruits, veggies, fry pies and the animal barn.
We had so much fun. Great produce, cheese and so much more. The goats on the roof were a hoot. The kennel corn is amazing. I sat in the parking lot and ate one whole bag. Then went and bought two more for the road.
Fresh produce and baked goods. Very delicious. A wide variety to choose from. Plenty of jams and jellies to choose from. Breakfast and lunch was available. The petting zoo was well worth the $3 admission. Feed the animals carrots and take a stroll around the path. Definitely worth a drive or detour to put this on your lips of things to do.
Fantastic , we all had a good time. The petting zoo was great. Grandson got to ride a horse . Picked up a nice leather purse . Squash, pumpkins. And other produce
Must take a buggy ride with Roman! Wonderful experience, great people, and fairly priced.
Always a fun time. We have been coming here for at least 20 years and have watched the farm grow. They have great food with the produce and bakery and we love looking at the animals. It is a bit touristy now, but it's still a good trip.
Great place for pit stop on the hog.
Such a fun place to spend the day! My kids and I absolutely love it here. We prefer it over the zoo or the Wilds. We look forward to going here every year and we always have a good time.
Kids loved it!! Petting barn was great. Bought feeding cones and carrots and my littles went crazy feeding all the things. Pretty sure one of my two year olds tried to kidnap a goat. All animals were chill and receptive. Kids never got freaked out or nervous. Horse buggy ride was fun. Craft shop had cool things w great prices. Ice cream hit the spot. All in all very affordable. Can easily kill an afternoon here. All staff were super kind and friendly. Need to go back for a blackberry fry pie. My five year old said "nothing here is boring!" As we walked to van to leave. Will absolutely be back.
Always an awesome experience when we come, we have tried to make it tradition to specifically come here every time we come out to Amish country. Animals are well taken care of and very friendly. The variety of animals ranges from regular farm animals which you can pet and feed to more exotic animals in enclosures outside where they're harder to pet. Staff is constantly cleaning up after the animals to ensure a clean and non smelling environment. Love this place!
This is a great place to stop for the whole family. They have a farmers market, freshly baked goods and are usually making hot sandwiches as well outside. They also offer a nice petting zoo for the family to see. There is an indoor and an outdoor part of the petting zoo. They also offer pony rides for the kids. Stop by and check them out.
We took the kids to see the animals today & ride the ponies! They LOVED it!
Very nice lots to look at. Nice gifts
This place is certainly one of the go to places for families with younger kids. There is quite possibly everything anyone could want here. There is a bakery, produce stand, kettle corn stand, small lunch stand, antique/crafted goods shop, petting zoo and pony and buggy rides. And don't forget the seasonal activities that go on there too!
Lot of really cool things here. Spent about 15 minutes just looking at butters and jellies/jams. Reasonably priced too
Great Amish destination. Best cheese prices in the area.
The petting zoo was phenomenal. Very Clean considering there are many animals, all the animals were friendly and we loved feeding them. Pony ride was a great addition to the visit.
We love visiting this place with our boys! Even though they charge to get into the petting area now, it is totally worth it! Best kettle corn and hanging flower baskets!
Fun place to go it has a nice petting zoo as well as a bakery, a restaurant and fresh vegtables and home made ice cream
Good place to go get vegetables baked goods corn it's down in Amish country killed love it
If you want the kids to have a great time, this is a must!
Outstanding burgers, bake goods, canned goods, leather, and antiques. Oh yeah, and home grown fruits and vegetables.
Must see when Amish country. Food trailer out side has great breakfast sandwiches. The Hershberger is great lunch burger
Such a large selection of animals to see up close!!! Loved this place. Amazing bakery as well.
