Had a Great Experience. I brought my dog Max in for an emergency vist. I'd never been to Paw Prints before. They attended to my dog as soon as I got there. The front desk staff was very nice, and understanding. The vet techs were also great, and seemed to really care for my dog. The veterinarian was also fantastic. She explained what was going on, and what the treatment plan would be. Then she gave me a printed high and low estimate of what the costs would be. I don't think the prices are cheap, but they are definitely fair. Medical care for pets and people is never cheap, and I think the staff at Paw Prints did a great job. The office called me and updated me on my dog's condition while he was there, and let me know when to pick him up. When I picked him up the vet explained everything again, and gave me some instructions. My dog was 100% better when I picked him up, and the actual cost was even less than the low estimate I'd been given earlier in the day. The staff even sent me a card in the mail asking about my dog, and thanking me for bringing him in. The staff here goes above and beyond, I had a great experience and will be making them my regular vet clinic.

I have been taking my puppy Biscuit here ever since I first got him. The staff, vets, and vet techs have always been so friendly and good with my boy that he actually loves going to the vet! However, my respect for this clinic was heightened after a very scary experience I had when Biscuit had an allergic reaction to a vaccine. His eyes rolled back in his head and it looked like he was having a seizure. I called them in tears at 7:30 pm and they told me to bring him in immediately and they would see him on an emergency basis. When I got there, the secretary I had spoken to on the phone recognized us and came and sat with me and asked how he was doing. She kept me calm, and this simple gesture meant a lot. We were seen quickly, and the vet gave him a thorough physical exam. Thankfully, it was determined my boy's eyes were just very swollen from the vaccine-the vet even let me take a look. He gave him a steroid shot and some eye drops and before I knew it, Biscuit was back to his crazy, bubbly self! As I walked out to be discharged I could feel my wallet crying...I was expecting to pay hundreds of dollars...but I was informed that because I was a patient I wasn't charged AT ALL for the visit-just his medications!!! I was in shock and so grateful!! If you want a clinic that cares enough about your babies to be there in a time of crisis...look no further than Paw Prints!!

In my 10+ years of going to vet offices all over the area and at home, I would say this is hands down the best vet I have ever been to. They always have appointments available, their desk staff is AMAZING and incredibly helpful, and the vets and vet techs that work there are sweet, compassionate, educated, and most importantly, great at their jobs! I would highly recommend taking your animal here if you’re anywhere near the Morgantown area!

I took time off from work to get here for a 5:30 appointment. When I got there I was informed that the vet was leaving at 6 pm. Really I drove 45 minutes and then was told the other vet could see me but it would be hours and it was. Not a good experience at all!!:-(

My service dog pulled a muscle in her back and they got me an immediate appointment. They made arrangements over the phone with my parents to take a credit card when I didn't have enough money on me. They even helped me find a rescue to take a kitten my dog tried to adopt!

The front staff is very nice to you the moment you walk in the door. Dr. Wilson is extremely knowledgeable. She addressed my concerns, did a thorough exam on my dog, explained everything she recommended along with brochures, and genuinely cares.

I took my dog to Paw Prints for the first time today, for a few vaccines. I was astonished to find out the office visit was $57.00! I repeat the office visit was $57.00! I was informed that visits after that would be $47.00. I'm new to the area, but the MOST I have ever paid for an office visit is $25.00 and I have NEVER paid an office visit for vaccines. I have been to numerous vets as I travel/move a lot for work. The staff was nice enough but nothing spectacular. I will not be back.

I love this place and recommend it! They are usually quick to get you in when you have an appointment!! My dogs doctor don’t remember her name, but she’s always great with him.. always explains everything to me perfectly and even goes the extra mile to make him happy!! ❤️ And the receptionists are always nice as well! I can honestly say I’ve yet to have a bad experience with this place!

We used to go to another vet in Morgantown and after the other vet was less than nice to my fur babies and myself I decided we were going to give paw prints a try. Well my mojo had an ear infection they got us scheduled quickly and when we arrived his ear had swollen from a hematoma. The staff was wonderful to both us and mojo. He really likes everyone there and made friends with all the staff quickly. They explained everything clearly and made sure to answer all our questions. They took excellent care of my baby he was happy when I returned to pick him up after the procedure. They helped us in the car made sure I knew what medication to give him and when. I'm so glad we changed our vet mojos much happier with them. He was terrified of the other vets he tried to hide from them growled at them and was shaking when they came close. But not at paw prints he was wagging his tail and went willingly in the back with them and since hes never been away from us in 10 years that's saying something. Thank you to everyone at paw prints for caring about my baby.

21 years ago we adopted a female kitten (Mittens) and Paw Prints did a fantastic job of keeping her healthy. In March she had renal kidney failure and had to put her to sleep. Paw Prints is an excellent veterinary clinic. I recently had to take my cat who suddenly fell ill there. They went above and beyond to help her. Sadly, she didnt make it. But I must say they tried everything they could to save her.The staff including the vets,receptionists, and assistants were so kind and caring. Even after my cats passing they reached out to make sure I was ok. They put her in a special container with her name on it. It was very nice. I had a pet die elsewhere a few yrs ago and all I got was a bag and the back door so we werent seen.They treated my family well. Thank you Paw Prints again for taking care of Abbie. She meant so much to us. <3

Great visit as is normal. My cat was spayed on Thursday (2 days ago) and when we got home, she acted as if nothing had happened. She was as bright and playful as ever. She is healing well with no ill effects! This is our 6th time we have had our animals neutered there and they are always caring and professional. Love Paw Prints. Dr. Thomas is caring and really has a passion for animals. Only downside is price. It can get expensive but its best if you call and check about the price for your appointment ahead of time so you are not surprised. I do love the reminders that Paw Prints send out to tell me when my pets are due for certain vaccinations or checkups. Keeps everyone happy and healthy!

I took my cat here for a UTI. I was quoted $500. When I got him back, I noticed a giant (2-3 inch) gash on the side of him. I took him back and was told nothing happened to him there and asked if I had a dog or if something fell on him in my care. I live in a third story apartment with no other animals, and I work from home 24/7. If anything happened to a cat this bad, I would hear him yelp, and see the wound that day. I only noticed it after I dropped him off for the UTI. I went in again and asked for someone to please be up front with me about this. After waiting 20 minutes two people come out and flip through the chart and say nothing happened. Yes, they fixed the UTI. After all of that, they dropped the bill to half of the quoted cost, presumably because they allowed my cat to either get bit/burned on a heating blanket while under anethstia. If they messed up and were up front to me about this, I would've been upset but I wouldn't post a truthful review like this, and I might've came back. The main vet there was extremely nice and gentle, and I believe he is great. I believe one or two of the employees under him messed up and hid the information. I won't be going back here, and I recommend the same for everyone else, sadly.

Absolutely insane how slow they are. They told me to come between 5-6:30 to pick up my cat after his neuter. I came at 5:30 to get Stella and had to WAIT OVER 45 MINUTES and absolute waste of time. They should have said come after 6 if this was going to be the case. Absolutely ridiculous.

Absolutely loved going to this place. Took my jack russell to get his initial exam and vaccines. They had treats in the waiting room and in the room where they treat the animals. All the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Prices were really reasonable, we paid $152 for the first visit and got quotes for neuter and teeth cleaning, both were very reasonable as well. Would recommend to anyone looking to give their dog a positive vet experience.

My poor kitty had been to 2 vets before I took him to Paw Prints. One vet gave him a shot without any tests and the other said there was nothing they could do and gave me the feeling my 3 year old cat was not going to make it, but gave me a referral to a neurologist for an MRI! A friend recommended Paw Prints, thank goodness! Yeah I had to wait a little while in the waiting room, but the doctor checked him out and tested his ears for infection. He had an infection in both ears.....no wonder he kept losing his balance! She showed me how to apply the medication and he should be going back soon for a follow up. I still wonder how 2 other vets missed the ear infections, but I felt like they were thorough. He's doing much better so far!

Paw Prints is an amazing place to take your pets . The staff is very knowledgeable & friendly. They treat your pet as if it were their own. The veterinarians are all very compassionate & well informed. I am handicapped & walk with a walker. The staff always offer to help me with the door, my pet, etc. I sincerely appreciate their help. When you schedule an appt. you can rest assured you will be taken back on time or early, barring any emergencies. The office carries many kinds of cat & dog food, toys, treats, etc.

I was traveling home across country with a new puppy and she started to have intestinal problems. I pulled off the freeway and found Paw Prints Vet Clinic. They happened to have a cancellation just as I was walking in and we were seen very quickly. Everyone was very helpful and kind and it really was nice to find that in the middle of a rather stressful situation with a very young puppy. They tested for issues, prescribed some medication and sent us on our way, much relieved. I really did appreciate the attention that we received and the cost was amazingly reasonable, especially considering the drop-in nature of our visit. Thank you!

I have a shar pei. A few days ago it had an allergic reaction to something. I took her to our regular vet, who she sees on a regular basis. She received treatment. a few days went by and she wasn't improving so I decided to seek a second opinion. I called Paw Prints. They were amazing! They were very thoughtful and kind to Penny. I’ve been taking both of my cats to Paw Prints for a few years now. I called today to try to schedule an appointment to get my 7 month old fixed and declawed. The receptionist was EXTREMELY RUDE to me and told me that I couldn’t get both of those things done at the same time and that it would require separate surgeries. I absolutely refuse to have him put under twice. Having him put under once is scary and expensive enough. I called Hillcrest and they were so nice and welcoming to me. They helped me schedule the appointment and had no attitude with me at all. I called back Paw Prints and told them to have both of my cats records ready to go on Monday because of how rude and inconsiderate they were to me. I’ll take my animals somewhere else where they won’t try to have them put under anesthesia multiple times to just try and make more money. I’m extremely disappointed and refuse to take my animals there anymore!!

This vets office is wonderful. Dr. Thomas is our landlord, and she (along with everyone there) tried to save our little furbaby Chloe. However, due to a freak circumstance, it was too late. They were very compassionate, reaching out and even sending a card to express their sympathy. I couldn't ask for a better place to take our other cat Maya, plus our snake and gecko. I took my almost 12 year old black lab/beagle to them. Everyone here is kind and patient. I am a worryer and they are ridiculously patient with me. My boy needed surgery, and although they were not quite sure they would be able to help him, they not only helped him, but I was charged significantly less than what they had estimated. I didn't get to meet the doctor that did the surgery, Dr. Seiler, but he literally performed a miracle and I have no way of showing my gratitude in a sufficient way. Doctor Lindsay Alvarez-Jones is the most caring and compassionate person to have taking care of my four legged family, and I will go nowhere else with my loves. Thank you to everyone-front house staff, techs, Doctors, and the young man who brought my boy to me after surgery. I am forever thankful to you all.

Having you know she will do her best to keep costs low/fair to you the owner. Bobbie... Front desk, Took my call, after my numerous attempts at other clinics whom didn't Seem concerned of how critical Rylo's situation was. Putting me on hold forever it seemed. One clinic front desk... Like I was in need of an appointment for vaccines... Said " Well, our next opening isn't for 2 weeks out and I'm sure you you need him to be seen sooner". DUHH! I worked in a clinic and very much our team and Dr's MADE time for an Emergency. To me, I wouldn't turn an animals horrible situation away if AT ALL POSSIBLE ! Any who... Bobbie.... Heard the urgency in my voice. Took my number andbassured me she'd call right back... Had to get with the Dr's who were IN surgery. Called back immediately and gave me a time. Rylo ended up not waiting... He needed the Vets then and there. Wonderful team/crew. Thank you ALL for kind words, big hearts, and for making an emergency situation a little more at ease. Visiting Paw Prints has been the best vet experience I've ever had. From the staff at the front desk to the vet techs & the veterinarian, everyone at Paw Prints has shown genuine concern for both of my cats & have been more than helpful in getting them the care they needed. When my kitty needed medical attention immediately, Paw Prints was the 8th vet we called & the only one willing to treat him immediately, despite them being fully-booked for the day. They ended up seeing us within 30 minutes of our phone call. Unfortunately, the vet could tell with a quick examination of our kitty that he needed serious surgery. We could not afford the surgery & given his old age, we decided the best thing for him would be to put him down. Though this was a heartbreaking day for us, the vet & vet techs were so helpful in ensuring our kitty was comfortable during his final moments. They were gentle, gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye & even allowed us to pick up his 'kitty casket' a few days later when we were ready to take him home to bury him. The vet tech, in particular, touched my heart; she offered to hold my kitty in his final moments, as I was too emotional to handle it, & as we left, I noticed she was holding back tears, too. As dramatic as that sounds, it truly made all the difference for my fiancé & I on such a difficult day to know he was in such good hands. My second visit was much like the first, except my kitty was not as ill as his brother had been, fortunately. Still, the front desk staff squeezed me in within an hour of my phonecall, & the vet/vet techs, again, were wonderful. They quickly determined what the issue was then confirmed it with lab work, all in less than 30 minutes. They were very helpful in explaining his treatment plan & were more than kind, even after kitty made a mess of the exam room. They gave me the medication I needed for kitty & sent me on my way. As someone who considers my pets 'family,' I cannot put into words how thankful I am to have found Paw Prints.

Ive been taking my animals to Paw Prints for about 2 years now, never had any issues really, but even with an appointment you are waiting forever, the communication is "eehhh" and you definitely feel rushed once you are with the Doctor. There prices are pretty high compared to other vets. Ive been pretty satisfied with this place but they would recommend better communication and getting their clients in ON TIME.

We could not be more happy with Paw Prints. We came here after having been to three other vets who couldn't figure out what was going on with our cat and who didn't seem to care. Our poor baby was in more pain every day and we were at the end of our rope, and Paw Prints got us in at the last minute on a Saturday to see Dr. Seiler. Finally we found a doctor who genuinely seemed to care and took us so seriously that he quickly scheduled surgery for us for the very next morning (on a Sunday, even though they aren't open on Sundays). Dr. Seiler personally called us to keep us updated before and after the surgery. When our cat seemed to be having problems a few days post-surgery, we were able to bring him right in and get him the shot he needed to feel better, even though the office was extremely busy. I can't thank the doctor enough for being so kind, caring, and professional, and the same goes for every vet tech and assistant in that office. We will be loyal Paw Prints customers from now on!

I was so nervous trying to find a vet for our 10 wk old mini pig Vincent McHam. I had an appointment for him at an animal hospital,but when I looked up reviews on said hospital most all were bad :( After reading how all they were worried about was milking people for money, or being rude to fur babies, and or their humans I cancelled that appt!!! After reading reviews (THANK YOU GOOGLE and the wonderful ppl who take the time to leave reviews) I called Paw Prints, and instantly felt better when one of the doctors (Dr.Thomas ) called me back the next day!!! After only talking with her a few minutes I knew Dr Thomas knew piggies ,and quickly asked to be transferred to make the appointment!! Well today was Vincent's very first appointment, and let me tell you from the wonderful staff working behind the desk to the tech you see in the room before the doctor comes in THEY ARE ALL WONDERFUL ❤️ Dr. Thomas took her time with Vinnie explained what she was doing , and didn't make us feel rushed. If your wondering about the cost it's VERY reasonable. His appt and wormer meds ended up being less then it would have cost me to just walk in the door of that first place I had mentioned above. THANK YOU ALL STAFF AND ESP DR THOMAS and her sweet tech (I'm so sorry I didn't catch your name, but I was so happy when youentioned having 3 lil mini's yourself) . Vincent will deff be back

We have been with Paw Prints since my son was in Tiger Scouts. (He is now 30). They are an asset to the community in every way. They go above and beyond in taking care of our dogs. Vixen was adopted through Paw Pints and when she got cancer the first time, George Seiler was marvelous. Late she got a different cancer and he was realistic and frank about her prognosis and course of treatment. He was compassionate when she needed to be put to sleep, and we couldn't ask for a better practice. The young vets working in the practice are learning from the best how to develop life-long relationships with the clients. As a volunteer with West Virginia Pet, Inc., I can't say enough about their willingness to help us help dogs be healthy when they find their forever homes.
