I cannot say enough good things about this clinic! Dr. Kevin Dill spent weeks trying to help me figure out why my chinchilla was not eating. He spent so much time researching possible causes and exhausted all avenues. No matter how frustrating the situation became, he would not give up on my little guy. He was losing weight at a rapid pace and we were quickly running out of time. We opted to perform an exploratory surgery to determine if there was an abdominal mass or possible foreign object somewhere in the digestive system. What we found was a damaged liver. About a day after the surgery, my chin chewed through his sutures. Since this was a Friday evening, I rushed him to the emergency clinic. I contacted Dr. Dill along the way to let him know what had happened. He called the doctor on duty that night and spoke with her directly. He then called me and reviewed our options with me. In the end, I opted not to put him through any more and we made the heartbreaking decision to put him to sleep. I am forever grateful to Dr. Dill for all the effort he put in to helping my little guy. I am also grateful to the staff at the Animal Health Clinic. They were all so supportive during this trying time and the outpouring of heartfelt sympathy after I lost him was staggering. I have been a client for roughly 9 years and I wouldn't take my pets any place else!

To me, they are the best vet in Manchester. Helped me out when I wasn't even a regular customer I was actually living in Georgia. Dr. Blevins has been great with our Malti-poo. A few months ago, she fractured her right foot and we were thinking of all the worst case scenarios when we took her to Dr. Blevins. Much to our delight, Dr. Blevins treated her fracture and put her leg in a brace. Within weeks, her leg was 100% healed and she is back to normal now thanks to Dr. Blevins. If you need a vet to take care of your pets, look no further than Animal Health Clinic. They are the best!

Took my Chihuahua for hair loss, tapeworms, and general check up. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions and vet even came out to the desk to address something she forgot to adress in the exam room.. I felt the prices were very reasonable too. Got flea meds, heartworm meds, tapeworm meds... boosters and rabies shots...fecal exam, heartworm test, all for just under $160. Definitely going back

Nice staff but Dr Blevins doesn't do basic things like xrays when your pet has a lump. Putting off surgery months to remove the lump and swelling tail then cancelling the day you go in super early for surgery by telling you he just did emergency surgery on a dog and doesn't want to do your cat because he is afraid it won't heal. Then you take the pet to another vet who immediately does xrays sees bone degradation by the lump and sends you to a specialist because they feel they don't know enough to treat this issue (thank you cascade you are ALWAYS willing to do what's right for the animals). The specialist does emergency surgery immediately and tells you that lump was a very aggressive form of cancer and if they had gotten to it earlier it wouldn't have moved into the back but it did move up the tail and they got all but one tiny piece which was too far into the spine to mess with. The cat DID heal Mr. Blevins but the cancerous lump couldn't be removed completely and he passed away from that later. Be more diligent in the future. Don't be lazy. Admit when you do not know. Send them to someone who knows more. Cancer is serious and the sooner its dealt with the better the chances are whether its people or animals. We had many visits with you. I like you as a person you are a nice guy. But i post this review a year later because I still grieve the loss of the family member and hope it inspires you to be more careful in the future in hopes it saves someone else the heartache snd expenses.

He is very professional but also extremely kind, gentle & caring. You feel like he treats your pet like one of his own. Recently he treated Ace for pancreatitis- they got him in urgently which I greatly appreciated- my baby was so sick, I was worried- but after my appt I was completely comfortable leaving Ace in Dr Blevins care. Im not from the area and dont have an established vet here. So when my dog was attacked over the weekend by an off leash dog we were seen at an ER clinic and needed a vet to follow up and remove a tooth that had cracked down to the root. After calling 4 different vets, I finally came across this office who could get us in immediately and do the surgery/extraction to remove the tooth and drains that were put in by the ER vet. They were extremely professional, had a friendly office environment, and even sent a text update letting me know my dogs procedure went well right when he was done and being woken up. Prices are also extremely cheap and fair. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a new vet or just passing through that needs fast, professional care for their pet!

Highly recommend. Took my baby up there for a checkup and preventatives, and we had a great experience. Everyone was very polite and professional, even when my dog got a bit jumpy. Dr. Blevins was great! He offered solutions to keep us from having to come in monthly, and I really appreciate that. I will say, the preventatives are more costly upfront when you go with the longer-term options, but cheaper in the long run; so it’s worth it. We will be coming back, and making this our permanent veterinarian clinic.

My ex-wife and I used to bring all our pets to this clinic (dogs, cats, lizards and even a hedgehog), we were always treated well. How things have changed. After a recent move back to the area, I inquired about the cost of an appointment after my dog had been attacked by another dog. No empathy. No concern. Just a robotic quote of a price quickly followed by a "we are booked for weeks" response. Felt as if they didn't want me as a client.

I wrote a previous review and stated the were good veterinarians but expensive Well one of my dogs broke a canine tooth and they pulled that tooth for less than normal price plus 3 loose teeth he had an did not charge me for the 3 loose ones. Very fair price for the procedure he did. As I said before very good veterinarians. No complaints at all. Oh they also clipped my dogs nails and didn't charge me for that either.

My Rat Terrier decided to play underdog and took a leap off of the couch and hurt his leg. They took us right in and gave us incredibly good service. They listened to our concerns and gave him a thorough examination. They answered all of our questions and took their time as if he was one their own. We seen Dr Tom Harbin but I am sure with the reviews Dr Blevins is excellent as well. This is the best vet I have been to in a lot of years. Caring and considerate. We just moved here not long ago and are very fortunate to have found a great vet so close to home for our family members. If you are in need of a vet give them a shot. You won't be disappointed.

I can't express how much I adore this clinic. I have been going there since 2016. They are fear free which is a huge plus since one of my cats has high anxiety. I have had three animals who have been here for spay/neuters, shots, check ups and for sicknesses. They are flexible, friendly and compassionate. My husband and I are new to the F/M area and were very nervous about finding a good vet for our fur kids. We unfortunately had to say goodbye to our 16 year old kitty shortly after arriving here. The compassion and care that was shown to both Charlie in his final moments and to us was above and beyond. We since have brought our senior lab and younger cat in and the time and care the vets and techs take to ensure our pets have felt comfortable and at ease truely backs their "fear free visits" claim. They explained everything throughly to us and answered all my neurotic mom questions. This vet clinic truely cares about the animal and it shows in all they do. Was ok up to getting a quote on the phone, but after we took Tiny(little grey cat) for neutering and was informed of hidden fees for a post-operation pain shot it was extra fee. And if we wanted him to have an IV in case something went wrong during surgery. Of course for an extra fee. I asked why we weren't informed on the phone, the tech said "we don't tell you that till you come in" I had to budget for this appointment anyway. I just think you should be informed of ALL charges when asked.

I've been taking my 12 1/2 year old dog Abbie to Animal Health Clinic for help with regard to a neurological condition she has. A good friend's parent had shoulder surgery last year, and rather than the standard physical therapy, the doctor recommended cold laser therapy for her recovery period. This was the first time I'd ever even heard of it. My friend's mother recovered from this very difficult surgery in less than six months thanks to laser therapy. I did some reading, and found out that it was also available for pets! Cold laser therapy is an amazing treatment for injuries and arthritis as well as many other problems. It increases the microcirculation of the blood in the area of inflammation/injury, and supplies it with much needed oxygen and nutrients which helps the healing process. Think of having a steroid shot without having the side effects! We were doing steroid shots, but they honestly didn't help nearly as much as this non-invasive, completely safe alternative. She can't tolerate oral anti-inflammatory drugs because they upset her stomach. Laser therapy has been the perfectly tailored treatment to keep her comfortable and salvage what little of her mobility she has remaining. Having access to this kind of state-of-the-art treatment right around the corner from where we live is such a blessing. I'd also like to give HUGE kudos to the staff at the clinic here. They are so caring and friendly. My next door neighbor in Texas was a veterinarian, and I never thought I'd find I vet I liked better than him, but I have to say that Dr. Blevins is the most knowledgeable, kind, and caring vet I've ever encountered. He listens to the issues you are having with your pet, and earnestly tries to do what's best for you and your pet. If you're looking for a professional, friendly, knowledgeable clinic, you won't be disappointed here!

I had an excellent experience at the Animal Health Clinic. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The staff did a very good job handling and taking care of my Australian Shepherd. Dr. Blevins did an excellent job examining him and explaining to me his health needs. They are not pushy with needless medical tests, etc. I am very picky when it comes to the care of my animals so I do not give endorcemenets lightly. But AHC is where I will continue to take my animal friends!

Dr. Blevins performed orthopedic surgery on Pup-Pup’s poor leg. She’s a dachshund mix. She had a fractured tibia and fibula. He put in a plate and screws for Pup-Pup and she’s currently on her road to recovery. This is not the first time I have used Animal Health Clinic in Manchester. They have taken great care of my pit bull, Layla. The clinic has wonderful staff and truly cares about the pet and owner. Thank you Dr. Blevins, Dr. McCarty, and support team for always being so awesome and going over and beyond for all of your patients. The veterinarians here are very knowledgeable and give it to you straight up. I've went to one in town that told me everything "will be alright" and told me my snake get back to good health in no time. She died a few days later. I was devastated. Same thing with one of our ferrets, so I took her here for a second opinion. Sure enough she had a tumor and was dying. Even though there wasn't anything they could do for her, at least they didn't sugarcoat the news. I'd much have an honest vet. Thank you guys for making her comfortable and everything you do. I highly recommend them for all pets.

I have been so happy with Dr. Blevins and his staff. My precious Zoe is my baby, and he cares for her like she is his own. I have had large and small animals, and he is the best vet I have ever worked with. I drive 45 minutes just to see him. 5 stars!

Dr. Blevins is a very good vet! He really cares about the well being of the animals, and is very knowledgeable. Not too fond of his partner, though. She is rude and arrogant. I highly recommend Dr. Blevins, but his partner, not so much.
