Weber State is just awful when it comes to any and all counseling departments or as they call it, the "Student Success Center". Never has a department been more improperly named. Weber finds ludicrous ways to stiff you out of money, and they have an incredible number of ways to slow your progress and make graduation feel like a pipe dream. I transferred to BYU-Idaho and it was like night and day difference. WSU's LDS Institute is awesome, so if you're LDS I recommend going there. But the secular school is just terrible.

Good University, it lacks the typical University social life. No night scene. Math department is a joke, try to test out of math.

Best school in the state, don't believe me, Google: "Utah University Best ROI". The only school to beat it is a private institution in (un)happy valley, which is largely subsidized by people's religious contributions. Go to Weber, you'll get individual attention and the best Return On your Investment!

I've had good experiences as a former student here. Their math program is awful- avoid it if you can- but otherwise the school has always been good.

We love Weber State. They have a variety of programs that they offer a diverse student population and the facilities have undergone some great major Renovations that have really enhanced the campus.

Weber may be a good school if you start there from freshman year, but it is terrible as a transfer student. The department staff for my degree was excellent but the process for financial aid and admissions was terrible. It took nearly 4 months and 3 visits to campus to get my out of state tuition changed to in state. I have lived in Utah my whole life, was married in Utah, and own a home in Utah, but for some reason they had me as out of state tuition. Financial aid had my account in review for 4 months and every time I called in or visited campus they said someone will get to it soon. I cant believe they consider that acceptable, I know they have a bunch of young kids working the offices but come on.
