My wife has been going to Barbosa and Sons for several years and has always enjoyed their kindness and professional approach to maintaining and repairing her vehicle. Today was the first opportunity I had to experience what I will call good old fashioned customer service. As Mr. Barbosa said- "if we don't take care of our customers who will?" What a pleasure! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to have a positive customer service experience and the work done right. Now I know why my wife speaks so highly of them and they have my business in the future. What a breath of fresh air.

When I moved to the area years ago I went to Barbosa and Son with a tricky ignition problem. Eddie figured out the problem, gave me a fair estimate and fixed the problem promptly. He was so honest and clear in his assessment of the problem that I went back and became a regular customer. Over the years, at times he has advised me to take my car to a dealership when he realized the problem should be covered under warranty. This has saved me many hundreds of dollars on two occasions. A couple times when I have picked up my car I found that he had charged me less than his original estimate when the time for the repair was shorter than originally thought. He is a very good mechanic and a very honest, nice person. I moved away from the area but I still drive the extra miles to bring my cars to Eddie.

Excellent staff and service. Fast and easy to get in with. Clean waiting room. I’ve now taken two of my cars there for inspection and repairs. They’ve had very fair, affordable prices and, best of all, really take the time to explain things so that you understand what’s going on. I never feel like I’m being cheated. They even tell you when something is not a good idea to fix, which I find to be a strong sign of an honest business. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Excellent service and friendly staff! Ed and his team will take care of you. Went to have wheel bearings replaced on an old Hyundai. They saved me $250+ because it turned out I only needed one wheel bearing replaced. Will be returning for all other repairs!

They're good. I can't give them 5 stars though. I gave them 3 because I just got back from them re-fixing my car. I picked it up yesterday after a $1500 job. Got new struts, links, and tires and they fixed another minor problem. Drove it home and the whole car was shaking. Took it back and the guy said he couldn't feel anything and I was insistent. I mean...I know what my car feels like. It wasn't shaking before I had it fixed. They re-did the alignment and the tire balancing for me and it's much smoother now. Sucks I had to come back and take time out my day, but glad they fixed it. I've been going there over 5 yrs and this is the first time I had to come back for something not done to my satisfaction.

I absolutely love this place! I went here to get some work done on my car a few months ago and Ed and his friendly staff took great care of me. Steve diagnosed my issues and broke everything down to let me know what exactly was needed for my car. He was extremely thorough and professional. He did the job right and didn't burn me at all like some of the other shops I've been too. There waiting area is completely cozy and spotless! I almost fell asleep on there comfortable sofa too. They have free wifi, coffee, TV and of course, water. The receptionist was great as well. I think Pam was her name but I can be wrong. We had good talks while my wife and I waited. In just under 4 hours, my rear brakes was fixed and didn't cost me as much as I thought it would. Extremely reasonable and reliable. I highly recommend this place for all of your car's needs. I will be definitely returning back for future mechanical work. Thank you Pam, Ed, and Steve! You guys rock!
