I picked this place initially because of the distance from my house but after receiving the benefit of their warranty services, it has now been cemented as my go-to. Only downside is perhaps they are too popular and over weekends, you may have to wait a few hours. But nevertheless, honest tire people and shop.

I've gone here for tires and alignment. The staff is professional, greets you right away, teaches you about any issues or problems, and doesn't upsell things you don't need. I was ready to buy four new tires and they told me the back ones looked brand new and they did not recommend replacing, and, that they could match them to help all four tires evenly wear. A a mechanic myself I would say this center is staffed by honest, fast working, and friendly people. Prices are pretty good too, not the usual California markup. Don't believe the bad reviews, I think they are posted by people shooting the messenger.

Don't believe the warranty information - there is actually no warranty - everything goes to the tire manufacturer. After more than 2 months of phone calls, letters, faxes and jumping through miscellaneous hoops - the claims department (true - Les Schwab sends to the manufacturer who sends to the claims department whose sole mission seems to be denying it was their tire/responsibility). Not only will you pay substantially more for tires here (take your quote to other local dealers to compare) if anything happens to your tire/car - it is "not their responsibility". If it was possible to have less than poor I would choose this. Having had this experience, I have since talked to several others who have had the same problem - with the same horrible service. We had substantial damage to our wheel well from a tire that absolutely shredded (but definnitely couldn't have been a "road hazard" - and wouldn't have been covered anyway). RUN THE OTHER WAY!! Not a good company.

I'd rate this specific location a ZERO if possible, but I can't go any lower than one star. I've taken my car to 3 different Les Schwab's over the years. This is by far the worst. Let me just say I could have died or been seriously injured due to the shoddy work they did on my car. A few months ago, Les Schwab took off my tires to replace the brakes. The front tires were not put on properly, and my car made a knocking sound that day. Didn't happen before, but happened right after visiting their shop. At first, I was not sure what it was, but as I kept driving over the months, it got worse and worse until one day, I was driving and the wheel completely fell off the car. I was lucky to have been at a stop and driving slowly, otherwise it could have been worse for myself or others on the road. There is no excuse for this kind of negligence on the job. The tow truck driver who picked me up said all 4 lugs snapped off. So did the mechanic I had the car towed to. When I had a third person, another tow truck driver look at the car and he said the other wheel was loose too. When I had it towed to Les Schwab to have them fix the car, they wouldn't and told me to file a claim, but the claim came back and said they wouldn't fix the car. Really? You're the last people to do anything with my wheels, there's a wobbling noise, and my wheel falls off my car a few months later...and you are claiming you had nothing to do with it? BS. I am now filing a claim with my insurance. Terrible company. Was it a mistake? Yes. But it was a mistake that could have cost me my life or the lives of others. They should definitely admit they were in the wrong and fix this, but they won't. Do not go here. Have they done good work before? Yes. However, this one mistake is enough for me to say never again.

This shop has great service. I had a puncture in my tire and needed a patch. Took it to Les Schwab as it was close by and had good reviews. But they exceeded my expectations with their friendly and prompt service. The service person made getting me back on the road a priority. It's great when you find a auto service center that cares about the community they serve.

I was suspecting a slow leak in one of my car's front tires, so I brought my car in for a quick (free) inspection. Both the staff in the garage and front desk were friendly, quick and helpful. Though at the end, they find no fault to the tire, this gives me a peace of mind by providing a detailed tire report and also quote on new ones down the road. Given the service provided and I will highly consider getting my tires changed by this business.

0 stars if I could. Have been a faithful Les Schwab buyer throughout California for decades. They have the best customer service of any company, bar none. But apparently this place gets a pass on that standard of customer service, because they were the rudest and most unhelpful auto-related store I've ever been to. 9:30 am, 0 customers in the store, 5 employees behind the counter doing NOTHING. Wouldn't even look up at me. Finally got someone's attention, and he glanced up, and proceeded to drolly tell me that they didn't have any tires for my car, despite having called in prior to ask if they did. Rude, lying, and apathetic. I'd like to give a specific shoutout to Martin, for being a reticent, worthless prick.

I am impressed. I needed warranty service for brake work done at another location. My first call resulted in them ordering parts, given my invoice number from a store in another state. A second call to set an appointment and confirm that the parts would be there. I arrived with the vehicle, and they set to work on it within 30 minutes or so. They seem to have done the job right this time. I even got a call from the manager of the store that did the original work with concern about my safety and an apology for the inconvenience. Free Wi-Fi meant I could work while waiting. Free coffee and popcorn. I am a satisfied customer.

Very helpful and service oriented. I just had new tires put on my 2003 Honda Element two weeks ago and the tires started losing air. I brought the car back and they quickly checked everything out and put bead sealant on the tires at no cost and were apologetic that I had that problem. I don't think I can fault them for the initial problem since the car is 16 years old and the tires were a bit corroded after spending most of those years in Chicago.

Order your tires online and get them installed at Belmont 76. Cheaper and better. Refused to install tires that I purchased online. Actually, I'm fine with that and expected it. I realized it was such a possibility that I went down there before the tires arrived to ask. A simple 'no' and I would have understood, but... ...the guy behind the counter decided to tell me they won't do it for "liability reasons." I was halfway out the door, and I said, "wait, what - how does that work? I bought name brand tires that you actually sell here? How is there a liability issue?" "In case something happens to the tire we can send it back up the chain." "Dude, that's not why." "Look, I don't make the laws." "OK, bye." The reason you don't install tires purchased online is purely commercial - you don't like that people are buying the tires cheaper elsewhere and you're not getting that margin; it is not an issue of liability. Just say that, please, and don't insult my intelligence by telling me there are incremental liability issues because there are thousand of smaller, less resourced (ie far more risk exposure for any actual liability issues) garages (see Belmont 76) who will install someone else's tires without a second thought. OLD REVIEW: These guys are really good. What other reviewers have written about "you get greeted before you even get out of your car" is very, very true. They seem to take good service very seriously and my take it's that's explicitly an important part of their culture there. My example: I ordered some new wheels and tires (Worx Triad 801 Black + Nitto Trail Grapplers 315 70/17). I knew exactly what I wanted and they ordered the stuff fast and got it to the shop in less than a week. The fit was not easy - to say the least, BUT the guys here were committed to helping me get it right. I had to make a few small modifications to the truck to get the fit and this required us to iterate... put tire on, check fit, take tire off, make a change, put tire on, check for rub. Honestly, anyone who would have observed this would have identified me as the highest maintenance customer ever, in history, but the guys there, starting with Mark the manager, were friendly, patient and with me to get the fit right. I'll go back in a heartbeat.

This place is a joke especially if you have a nice European car. The mechanics will take your car for joyrides and abuse it by speeding it up and slamming on the brakes. I went in with wheel alignment problems and came out with the issue worse and they told me its the best they can do. They were very rude and the mechanic who worked on my car "accidentally" broke one of my steering wheel joints and said we can't fix it. The management sucks along with the mechanics. This place is a scam and waste of time.

I had planned to go to Les Schwab to buy snow chains, but was also losing air slowly from a back tyre. when I asked about snow chains, rather than simply selling me the standard generic chains, I was asked if I had the manual for my car. The manual said that I had the wrong wheels / tyres for standard snow chains and I was advised to speak to my car dealership for advice. I asked if they could take a look at my tyre and repair if possible. They found a nail in my tyre, repaired it and then said it was on the house. They simply asked that I consider them for any future tyre etc requirements. Very impressive service and they will definitely be my first choice in the future!!

Awesome crew at my local Les Schwab. They helped me out tremendously with a speedy estimate and quick repair when I needed it. I took my car to another location for an oil change, but apparently I needed more work so I was talked into new front breaks and had to pay $1200.00!!! The other place also stated I had to replace my left front bearing and that is an additional $950!!! I said NO to The additional work and picked up my car instead. I NEEDED to replace the bearing, so my husband spent a day calling around for better quotes and we found Les Schwab was only going to charge us $350 for the same exact job!!! I dropped it off at 8am and at 9:45 my car was completed and ready for pick up! Now my car is back on the road and my husband is no longer my chauffeur :) thanks fellas! We'll be back for our next service, you are my car guys!

Went in to get a nail removed from my tire. There were two cars in the garage when I arrived, but the technicians brought the car in really quickly. Surprisingly it took over an hour to repair the tire. At least there was an interesting show on their television.

I went to Les Schwab in San Carlos to get my tires rotated and to get a small leak repaired in one tire. They did the work in about 45 minutes and then charged me nothing. They simply asked that I come back to purchase my next set of tires from them. The definitely earned my business in the future.

My first time there - absolutely incredible! Brought a tire from another car to fix a flat. The moment I entered the parking lot a guy came out to greet me. AFAIK the job was done perfectly, they washed the wheel, packed it into a plastic bag and loaded into my trunk. Never seen such service before.

Shortly after rotating tires at this place, one of my nice wheel covers came off and went down a deep ditch (could not find in the thick vegetation). A couple more days later on Highway 92, while on the bridge unable to stop, another wheel cover came off. I checked the other covers remaining, one of them was not snug and the other one was already loose allowing it to jiggle. Makes me concerned if the lug nuts are even torqued. For that matter, if care isn't taken to torque evenly and properly, then the rotors warp. I'm looking for a place that gives proper attention and due diligence to critical (safety) things like this. I also did not like how it was handled, so I will not be returning.

This is my go to place for tire issues. I popped (no pun intended) in to address a slow leak. They were accommodating and nice. They quoted me a 1:45 to 2 hour wait, but they had me out in an hour. They found the nail and patched the tire at no charge.

Blown away by my experience this morning. I had a slow-leaking tire, and decided to take it to Les Schwab because it was close to home. I was greeted as soon as I parked, and handed them my keys. I quickly explained the situation, then sat in their well-equipped waiting room while they went to work. It was only a few minutes before the technician came in to let me know they had found a screw in the tire, and they were going to patch it. A short time later, I was told that everything was completed. I was given my keys and sent on my way again. On top of the quick and pleasant experience, they didn't even charge me! I can't recommend this shop enough.
