I went there for a nose piercing. This isn't my first time having one and I wanted to get it back. The first thing I didn't like was that we arrived at 2 which is the time they open on saturdays but the piercing lady Brandi didn't arrive til 45 minutes later. I didn't sweat it though. The second thing that drIves me to write this comment is the fact that the nose piercing has fallen out after two days. I wouldn't reccommend getting a nose piercing until she upgrades her jewelry because she used one of the worst types of nose rings. The back was way too short and I kick myself in the butt for not checking the type of nose ring before I got it. A cork screw nose ring or a hoop would've prevented this issue or a longer version of the hook. Thank god it was inexpensive. Brandi was still pretty nice and cool though.

Brandi is amazing and I would definitely comeback! Got piercings done by her and she was quick and made the whole process painless and very easy! There's no swelling or bleeding and she shared a lot of information for after care as well. Highly recommend her!

Danny did an outstanding job on my tattoo. He is very precise and careful on the tattoos and charges a fair price. He took on the challenge of covering up a traditional tattoo and did a phenomenal job. 10/10 would reccomend this place.

My husband and I went in late on a Sunday around closing time to get matching tattoos of our daughter's names and Riff Raff took care of us. We got exactly what we wanted despite how nervous I was (he even said he'd rather not do it if I wasn't sure which was respectable) but we absolutely love the way it turned out and I'm so glad I did it!

Tattoo artist was knowledgeable but condescending and callous. Very critical of other tattoos I had gotten other places, which, by my standards are very good quality and have always been admired by others. Took over 90 minutes to begin the appointment, and took 4 hrs to do a small-medium size piece, which is not unheard of, just he took seemingly long smoke breaks pretty frequently. I can understand a break or two on a large piece, but this seemed excessive in this case. Also proceeded to hit on me during, which I understand he probably meant no ill will, and you gotta meet people somehow, but it's not the most professional thing you can do. He did good work, brought great input into the art, so I can't give a bad review. I don't mean to attack the guy, but his tableside manner is just brash as hell. Personally, I won't return. Keep up the great art though. Happy with what I have.

Went in asking about a touch up/ cover up and riff raff was a complete dick had nothing but negative things to say told me that he would not touch my tattoo and just overall a horrible experience, with him.. Went down to red five and had an amazing experience and they fixed my tattoo wonderfully, will not recommend or ever return to black cat!

I just got my first tattoo! Riff Raff gave me my first tat. He was straight forward and honest about the whole thing and He wanted to draw up the tattoo. I go in 5 days later and see the drawing and once it is finished i am SUPER IMPRESSED! Everyone in there is good and I will be going back to get my next tattoos.

The artists are super cool and the shop is super clean. The one thing that genuinely bothered me is every time I have gone in the owner was getting in an argument with someone, telling someone no on their design or was rude. But, he is an amazing tattooist so it’s worth it. I have gotten a couple tattoos, my first one I’m really happy with but the second one was a blowout. The tattoo itself is very well structured but the ink bled out underneath my skin so I have green swarmed around it in a deeper layer so it looks like I have a giant bruise. I’m wishie washie but if you like simplistic designs then I recommend coming here but maybe on a good day

Black Kat is the most amazing place ever. I went in today for my first tattoo and my nerves were instantly soothed by the staff. Riff and Brandi were helping me today and they did so good. I went to Black Kat for the Friday the 13th tattoo special. As expected I waited 5 hours, no big deal. Staff remained relatively friendly the whole time. Riff Raff did my tattoo, the work he did was great. However, when I asked him to shade it in more he began to get an attitude with me. Proceeding to say that it looked better the way he did it. Then he decided he was going to shade it completely, after he started doing so he then decided to ask me if that was okay. I understand they were busy and had a long day, but that doesn't excuse how unprofessional he was. The work was good, but I probably won't be returning.

I love my tattoo !! It was my very first done by Brandi, she was very soft and discreet. Her cleanliness was amazing and the saturation of the black and grey and the perfection of the design I wanted really caught my attention. Brandi has a very friendly atmosphere about her and works perfectly with your schedule and budget.
