I have 4 daughters and I have used Cindy for all their formal dresses (which have been quite a lot!!). She has always given us great advice and even has made time for fittings during her off hours. I would highly recommend her!!

We have had alterations done at Alterations Plus for many, many years. The owner has done alterations on homecoming dresses, prom dresses, suits, bridesmaids dresses and slacks. The alterations have always been professionally done. We have always been treated with respect and the owner has always been accomodating.

I have used Alterations Plus for my alterations for the past 8 years and have referred many of my clients and relatives to them. I have always experienced kindness from the seamstresses, even when there are many customers to wait on at the same time. All of my alterations have always been professionally done. I cannot understand why Leigh W. would post what she did. She mentions to take your alterations to another seamstress, possibly all of this was intentionally done to get more business for 'Kim'. *****Also on their web site it does say to make appointments for bridal and formal alterations.

UPDATE: The website NOW says to call to make an appointment for bridal/formal dresses.... it did NOT say this before. I also have no "agenda" with promoting other businesses. It's a shame that people assume someone is lying because they write a negative review --- freedom of speech. I'm glad they NOW have it on their website to call before hand, but it didn't say that BEFORE I went. Also, I WAS asked to come back in an hour AFTER I was yelled at. No agenda, just didn't want to waste an hour of my day by driving to my house (30 minutes away) and back again so I decided to look elsewhere. No agenda just was trying to get my dresses done so I could continue on with my day. Had I known to call ahead I WOULD HAVE however it didn't say to on the website at that time and the person that recommended to place to me said when she went they said an appointment wasn't necessary. MY BAD, sheesh! I was treated awful the moment I walked in the door because I didn't have an appointment. The person who recommended it to me said you didn't need an appointment (when she went she didn't have one) and no where on the website does it say to make an appointment unless it's evening hours - I went at 10:30 AM. I was shocked at how rude the lady was to me the moment I walked in the door - practically yelling at me about walking in without an appointment. Would NOT recommend this place solely based on that interaction. It's a shame because they lost out on my business of altering two bridesmaids dresses. There is a MUCH nicer lady up the road - go see Kim by Apollo Trust Bank - she's the nicest no matter if she can see you or not and you CAN just walk in! A little kindness goes a long way!

Took my wedding dress there. Dress was returned to me absolutely perfect! Also had 2 bridesmaids take their dresses there and their alterations were also perfect! Worked directly with the owner who was extremely nice. Prices were much lower than bridal shops also!

Terrible experience! My daughter took a bridesmaids dress there on a hanger with no wrinkles. When we picked up the dress we received it all rolled in a ball in a grocery store plastic bag completely wrinkled! Plus we were quoted a price (which I paid up front and even left a tip) then to be told we still owed more money! The two women that work there are not very personable and actually were rude. It's worth the drive to go to Greensburg or Monroeville for a much better experience. Stay away from this place!

We walked in without an appointment and were treated with great customer service by the owner. She was kind to us and helped us out in a pinch. We have used her many times and she has always been amazing. I have referred many people there and everyone says how nice they are and willing to help out. Took my wedding dress here for alterations and a bustle.... it looks absolutely amazing and I love the way the bustle was done so it will be very easy for anyone to pull it up for me... I was also very happy with what I was charged.....very reasonable!! I would definitely go back here...
