5 stars isn't enough for this guy. I'm getting married Friday and needed suits for all the groomsmen and he delivered. Beautifully styled and tailored, I couldn't ask for anything more. There's a parking lot right downstairs which makes getting to his showroom incredibly convenient in downtown la. I'll never buy a suit from someone else again.

I went to Gizzelle to alter my wedding dress. She and her team did an incredible job!!! I bought a sample gown off the rack and promptly lost quite a bit of weight. They were able to take the dress in so that it fit me perfectly! I brought the dress in late January and they had it perfectly finished by my April 9th wedding. They even scheduled an extra appointment for me because at my final fitting there were still little finishing touches I wanted done. They are amazing at what they do and I can't imagine having looked so beautiful on my wedding day without their help!

Five stars!!! I recently had my wedding gown alterations done by Gizzelle and her team, and they were AWESOME. I am very picky, so I went in feeling very nervous and paranoid about something bad happening, or my dress being ruined or something, but in reality I ended up with a gorgeous, perfectly altered gown, and my wedding was absolutely magical. <3 I got married on June 17th, 2017, just a few weeks ago, but my journey with Gizzelle started in January. We met about once a month or so, tweaking things here and there on the dress until it was perfect. I picked up the dress about 10 days before my wedding, and had no doubt that if something had not been exactly to my liking, they would have made the time to fix any problems. I never felt rushed, and I never once worried that they might not finish on time. Out of preference, I spaced out my appointments over several months on purpose, but have no doubt they would have taken great care of me and my dress had I come to them in February or even March. I chose to push my last appointment toward the very end of my engagement just to make sure the dress would fit perfectly, and also because the idea of keeping it at home for too long made me nervous that something would happen to it. But to each her own. :-) Everyone in Gizzelle's shop was a delight to work with; they were super calm at all times and very accommodating. I had tons of questions throughout the process and they answered every single one. In fact, Gizzelle was one of the few vendors throughout my entire 14-month engagement who didn't make me feel embarrassed or stupid that I didn't know *everything* about weddings. Imagine that! Gizzelle works with brides every day, but she really made my experience a special one, and gave me so many useful tips on everything from undergarments to jewelry and even hairstyles. About my dress, it's a sweetheart strapless A-line, made of English netting (antique white), and has two rows of delicate petals at the bottom that come together in the back to form a long train. To hem, they needed to "decapitate" the dress, or separate the skirt portion from the waist/top portion. This sounded very scary at first, but the very next time I tried it on after the hem was done, it was the exactly the right length but somehow still felt as if they never took it apart in the first place - like magic. Anyway, I can't say enough great things about this place. Gizzelle has a keen eye for tiny details, and can almost read your mind. She reads your body language and can always tell if you're not 100% satisfied, and will do whatever she can to make it right as quickly as possible. Some times God puts people in your path as angels. That’s what he did when I found this place and although I had less than two weeks before my wedding, Amanda and Diana went far and beyond to help me with my wedding dress which has been previously “fixed” by a woman in my neighbor who claimed to be a taylor just for quick money. Anyway, my dress was perfectly and almost miraculously fixed to perfection. Every guest still talks about the dress. Thanks again Amanda and Diana, you saved my big day which forever be in my mind.

This team is amazing with alterations! I was recommended to them by where I got purchased my wedding dress, and I’m so thankful they did. Gizzelle herself is the sweetest, and catches things that I never would’ve noticed or thought of. Every fitting I had the team were so nice, professional and just truly the best team! My dress was fitted to me, like it was made just for me, it was perfect! I had a very long train and they showed my bridesmaid how to bustle it correctly and were such a joy to work with. I am not one to post reviews and this is my 1st time actually posting a review on google but I thought I should let you all know that the owner of this place, Gizelle is so impatient and rude!! The other seamstresses are willing to listen and try their best to help you fix the situation. I noticed Gizelle’s attitude from the beginning and I usually steer clear of people like that but since I didn’t have much time left to go elsewhere, I decided I would tolerate it. I had an appointment to pick up my wedding dress and another blouse that I will use for my wedding. I had already explained to Gizelle that I would be traveling 2 days after the pickup day and would need to have it ready. So I drove down and discovered that only my wedding dress was ready. I was told to come back the next day for my blouse which is 1 day before traveling. I went back, but after trying it, I noticed both arms weren’t fixed well. There was this gigantic hole that kept showing my breasts and I tried explaining this to Gizelle. To my surprise, she completely ignored me telling me that she had another appointment and continued attending to someone else. She gave off this aura like I was disturbing her and was very rude about the way she did it. I consider this attitude highly unprofessional. The other seamstress, Diana kept apologizing and tried to explain to me what I can do to solve the problem and offered to see if there was anything that could be done. All Gizelle said was that they adjusted the blouse free for me. Like seriously? I was in shock. No apologies whatsoever. I ended up taking the blouse and I will try to get it adjusted myself. I believe it’s the other seamstresses that are sustaining this place. If you’re a soft-hearted person, good luck dealing with Gizelle’s attitude. I will never recommend this place to my friends. Never! Go elsewhere where you’ll be genuinely welcomed.

Wedding planning can be quite a stressful experience, and I hate to say that Gizzelle Jame only added to my stress. I decided to wear my Grandmother's 1950's style dress for my beach wedding and came in knowing it would be a challenging job but would be worth it. I spoke to numerous friends and looked up countless shops and ended us coming here based on the marvelous reviews. I brought my dress into the shop late January, which should have been plenty of time because my wedding was on April 29. When I explained what I would like to have done, they seemed to share and understand my vision for the dress. The overall process went fairly smoothly until the week before my wedding. I went in for a final fitting and the didn't have my dress ready. The lace new lace wasn't even pinned onto the bottom portion of the dress nor was the belt sewn on as I had previously asked. They promised they would have it done by my pick up date (April 26 as I was driving down to Savannah the very next morning). When I arrived to pick up my dress, it still was not ready! The lace was poorly tacked on, the belt was not attached, and they decided to change the lace for the bottom at the very last minute, the day I was to take it home. My sister-in-law and I were at the studio for 2 hours while they tried to cut and sew on the lace which was unacceptable! She ended up having to come back and pick it up the next day without me. No bride should have to leave for her wedding without her dress. When she came to pick it up, they still had not finished sewing the lace onto the dress. She sat on the floor with the seamstress to finish it and once again was their for close to two hours. Diana, one of the seamstresses, kept apologizing, which i appreciated, but Gizzelle did not apologize once for the inconvenience or lack of professionalism. I, for one, will never be back nor will I let any of my friends go to her studio. Brides, time management is important!

Look NO further!! I purchased my unique 100% crochet wedding dress from the Sentimentalist and was so worried about who to take it to for alterations even though I did not need much! Gizzelle was referred to me by the bridal salon so I went there! Gizzelle and her assistant were beyond sweet and made me feel so happy instantly about choosing them for my dress. Gizzelle and her assistant tweaked the dress and even took extra crochet off the top to make the dress more form fitted. At my final fitting they wanted me to come in my shoes and undergarments so I could see the complete look, they both love what they do and it shows! I will go to her with anything special because she is simply the best!! <3

She made sure everything was perfect before sending me off with my dress! I felt beautiful all day and love my dress! She also was able to do a few last minute alterations to my dress for the rehearsal as well! She puts her clients first and it shows by all the hard work and quick turn around time! I also used Gizzelle for a bridesmaid dress I had that was a bit too small! I came in in a panic because I needed the dress in two weeks and she and her team worked their magic! She was so sweet at my initial appointment and calmed me down as I was in panic mode! When I came back to try on my dress it looked like new! No one could even tell some of the dress had to be let out and I was SO happy! From now on I will bring all alterations to Gizzelle!

Gizelle and her entire staff did a 5 star, phenomenal job on altering my husband's suit before our wedding reception. He loved the color and fabric of his suit, but it was so much baggier than he was hoping for.
