Outstanding service. I brought in some items (hemming, fix hole in butt of jeans, and letting out another pair) and they were very upfront and honest about what they recommended. Even told me not to hem one of my pairs of jeans because of how it would alter the style and not look as good. I really appreciate their honesty and will bring my clothes back here in the future. (The hole in my jeans got patched up really nicely too!)

Couldn’t be happier with the end product. These pants are flared bell bottoms with a frayed cut, so definitely a more complicated hem is required. I had the exact same pair of pants but a different color hemmed at another tailor in town and I left extremely disappointed. But wow I am over the moon with the job Boulder Custom Tailoring did. They honestly couldn’t be more perfect. If I could give them 20 out of 5 stars I would!!

Quality of work was great but the service was even better. Had a mix-up with a measurement and the tailor without hesitation started to fix and 15min later...perfect. So many other service places don't know how to treat a customer, but these guys do.

ZERO STARS I brought a bag in for a zipper and pocket. Was told it would take 10 days. Went back on day 12 nothing had been done and I had to help them find the bag. They said they would have it done when I returned in 5 days. Just went back today to pick it up. Again nothing had been done and again he couldn't find it. I paid in advance and needed this bag to be on time. I will go back one more time. If not done I will take my bag back and demand a refund. Very dissatisfied with this business. Unfortunate given that they do have good review.

Outstanding work and customer service. My first experience here was phenomenal, brought a dress to them to get hemmed for a wedding the following weekend and my boyfriend brought his suit jacket into them as well to have the sleeves adjusted. They got us both taken care of in a timely manner, worked with our time constraints, and did a great job. Super friendly staff and affordable prices. Will definitely be bringing more clothing to them in the future!

When your son waits until "the morning of" to try on his tuxedo... Superb! I would give six stars if I could. Called this shop at 9 am the DAY OF PROM!! to meekly beg possibility of MAJOR alterations of my son's tuxedo slacks. He didn't bat an eye. The suit was done before his baseball game was over and was absolute perfection. These folks are the best.

They are so friendly and know exactly what needs to be done to get what you need. We took a suit to this alterations store. When we went to pick it up a week later, only some of the things they were supposed to fix were done. The owner was really nice upon pickup, but only part of the work was done and he said there was no way to do some of the items that we needed and were promised to us. He said they could not alter the shoulder and there was no way to fix the chest gaping on the suit coat. I wasn't there for the item drop off so I couldn't be sure what exactly was said, but it sounds like there was some misunderstanding on my fiance's part. But they did say they would fix the shoulders and that they would move the button. neither of those items was completed. and yet, they still made us pay for them!The price was over $130! And we still had to buy a new suit. I called back to discuss how expensive the charge was as it seems completely out of line with the industry for the work that was completed. The man I spoke to was NOT nice. I told him that I understood that there was some misunderstanding, but that doesn't account for the astronomical fee for 1/2 the work (we knew if the shoulders and chest were altered it would have been expensive). The son then claimed that they did alter the shoulder, although the father said they couldn't and DID NOT. They also didn't alter the button for the jacket. He asked me what I wanted and I said that I would like a partial refund. after telling him I felt like 1/2 refund was fair considering he didn't alter the shoulders or closure and I couldn't detect any leg tapering (although I didn't ask for a refund for this), he changed his mind and said he wouldn't give a refund at all and he called my fiance a liar. He did offer me store credit, but how can I go back to a store that charges for work not complete, goes back and forth on what was done/can be done and is unprofessional. I will not go back to this alterations store again and I warn others about doing so.

I took my wedding dress to Boulder Custom Tailoring because the bust didn't fit right. They suggested an alteration which would have cut through the lace, ruining the intricate pattern. The cost for this alteration would have been$350!! I then took it to Sew Good Alterations/ The black tie on Valmont and they came up with a way better solution which wouldn't cut through the lace. This sweet tailor actually cared about how I would look and also suggested hemming the bottom. Her estimate, including the bottom hem, was $60-$80, and this was for a rush service!! Don't let Boulder Custom Tailoring overcharge you !!
