The facility was very organized, clean and all the staff I encountered were very polite and helpful! Nice to see in this industry.

$12 less a Net Ton For my vehicle because there was no motor. Just another way of screwing us over. Weight is weight. Like it makes a difference to them once they crush it up and ship it out. It’s just a big game they play. Definitely call around and check prices before going to Ben Wiseman.

I brought my vehicle to scrap. I received more than i thought i would but the vehicle that i was to ride back in ran out of gas in the yard. They gave me a ride to get gas and would not accept any money. They were extremely nice.

Favorite Scrap yard in Albany. Very easy system they have set up. Staff is very friendly. Yard is pretty much always very clean.

My fiance went here to recycle some metal. Every worker there harrassed her and made inappropriate remarks to her. To top it off, the laborers asked why she couldn't get the metal out of her vehicle herself. When she told them she had just had surgery, they laughed about it. Guess they scraped the bottom of the barrel for these particular employees, because that is not how you treat any customer.

I have been there early on both Saturdays and Sundays. Yard is always as neat as a pin, guys in scale house and the "Metal Shop" were very helpful. In and out with cash in hand in 15 minutes. Cleanest scrap recycling place I have ever been to.

I was injured by a pot hole and piece of metal In the yard...I'm in talks with a lawyer since they cut contact off with me....but stay away from this place..there has been at least 9 deaths involving this company that I can find on a simple google search

truck driver threw a fit when I asked him to put the dumpster in the Same spot as the one he picked up.. sorry I can't block a drive lane in the parking lot.. not very professional speeding through a parking lot at nearly 30 miles an hour dragging a can.
