Jason Peterson

These people bitching skit about mud, and their feelings being hurt cuz the person didn't say hi or anything are just silly. Maybe they meant to goto some 5 start restaurant and took a wrong turn and ended up at blooms. Oh and the one person crying about mud lacks some serious common sense.. but I'll help him out.. water+dirt=MUD. And I literally lol'd at the one who said they will take their stuff elsewhere for less money.

Friendly and helpful and pays for material. Our trailer full of cardboard didn't add up to much but better than my town service who charges $10/pickup. Thanks.

Blooms is # one when it comes to turning scrape aluminum. Fair price with friendly service. AOK

Took in what everyone else gives me bright and shiny price for but since the wires where not long enough they gave me #1 and I have never had anyone subtract 2lbs for my bucket. Last time I go there.

Been hauling out of Blooms for 8 years now there is not any better people to work for or with I appreciate everything that they have done for me

Been taking stuff there for years now and they do have the best money for your scrap. Just remember, it is scrap, what else are you gonna get for it?

Nathan Caulford

I don't know where these other users have gone in the past to have such high expectations of such an establishment. If there's a salvage yard somewhere with no mud, where they hand out mints and roll out the red carpet for you and there's a guy named Jeeves dressed in a tux offering you a complimentary chilled beverage, how have I never heard about it, and how did these other geniuses stray so far as to wind up at Bloom's, bitching and moaning through it all? Perhaps scrap yards don't have clean cut, English-speaking associates or team members with ample company-paid training in customer service, and a 5-star HR department where all policies are in the employee manual and everyone adheres to them all the time, because it's at the top of the company vision statement. There was mud? ...and SWEAR words?! At a scrap yard?!! NO WAY!!! PEOPLE! IT'S A SCRAP YARD!!! THINK LESS "HILTON HOTEL", AND MORE "JAWAS ON TATOOINE"! Bring your UNEXPIRED State-issued ID, and you won't have a problem. (BTW... they do have some English speakers... And Spanish speakers. And they're dirty. And not overly excited to be working at a SCRAP YARD. But, hey... no junkyard dog :) Love you Bloom's!

Paul Howard

I took in some aluminum cans and it was very confusing. I had no idea where to go. I went into the office and then she directed me to the green metal building which was right next to it. However, it was more of a deal green and it was a pain to get the process started. Now I know for next time, but definitely confusing. They should put up a large sign so people know where to go.

I have to agree with Nathan Caulford: Bloom's is a great place to take your recyclables and get paid top dollar for them! I don't understand the negative reviews about poor customer service. I've been taking my aluminum cans to Bloom's for 5 years now, and everyone I've dealt with has been very pleasant and kind. The Hispanic gentleman who is always at the first scale when I go to Bloom's never fails to thank me for coming in, and he is prompt and efficient. I've never had a bad experience with the ladies in the office, either. The last time I went to Bloom's it was 90 degrees and the swamp cooler in the office had broken down, but the cashier was still pleasant and made small talk with me. Try sitting in a cramped office behind a Plexiglas window for 8-10 hours a day in 90 degree heat with just a box fan to keep cool and see how pleasant you are! At least Bloom's employees are WORKING for their pay instead of sitting on the streets of Salt Lake panhandling, looking for people to give them money to feed their dope & booze habits! There are several customer parking spots on paved asphalt at Bloom's by the scales and next to the fence, so I don't understand the complaints about the lot being "all mud". If you're so worried about getting your pristine, pimped out ride dusty and dirty, then take your recyclables to Bloom's in an old pickup truck like I do. Bloom's is the best!

Goddess Mana

Bloom will rip you off. Not uncommon for scrap yards who rely on your ignorance. Customer service was pretty good though but ive met a great many friendly thieves! It would be wise to try anywhere else. Know your worth folks.

Ben

Better than the rest of the local places I've used. Fair prices, and friendly staff. The yard is also well organized, and Sylvester is always more than helpful.

Nick D Wils

Always brought the aluminum cans to blooms and other recyclables, can't complain.

Richard Johnson

They take fridges and a\c with coolent.

Matt Wright

Blooms is terrible. The service was awful and they dont know what theyre doing. They dont give you the information you need but they'll make sure to take your scrap first. Go anywhere else but Blooms.

Trace M

I took my recycling in and was at window at 4:58 pm, they said they had to issue me a check after 5 pm. I said I guess. Then they are too inept to get it signed. Now I have to go back. What a JOKE!

Gabriel Gutierrez

Ned Ryerson

Fantastic service. Friendly crew with excellent prices and value! The very best in northern Utah!

Nick Smith

Really easy to get in and get out. Helpful workers too.

Ryan Matthews

Terry Smith

Always helpful. Will go out of their way to help you find what your looking for.
