Had 2 kids, 1 male 1 female, both attempted to attend Brighton high school, both were switched out of the district within a semester. Use to be "THE SCHOOL" to attend for wrestling, football, welding... now the couches just don't seem to care, parent volunteers do more for the kids and all the good teachers that went the extra mile.... have retired. I can't say 1 thing good about Brighton high... I'm sorry. Failed 2 kiddos, #3 is attending Fort Lupton. SAD!

I'm raiting this school with 1/2 a star. When we first moved here we honestly thought this would be a great place and my daughter seemed to like it but within the last 2 years it's has become way over crowded and the teachers seem to teach a very liberal way. I mean that in no disrespect to any liberals but politics should not be forced on our children and it constantly is and I have a huge problem with that. I also have a problem with the way this school handled buylling. I have had to deal with the office and principal in a matter and they make the child who is bullied feel as if they did something wrong when in fact we have video proof of all incidents. I would advise anyone to stay away from this school at all costs. Good luck to anyone who is here.

I went to school here and its decent education but there was a huge problem with bullying and most of the counselors don't care about you until you're already failing. Vicki Powell is one of the few people that truly care and make the experience worth it.

I went to this school for a semester not even a entire school year, I was picked on and people made fun of me. I told the teachers and staff but they didn’t do anything about it, this school is the definition of hell. They don’t care about your education, students get hit by a driver every year.

This school needs improvements. I am a sophomore normal average kind of guy and I suffer from a disease known as aspurgers syndrome. This makes it really hard for me to talk to teachers. They don't care about students individually and don't take into consideration my disability. Also the lunch they serve is too healthy and I feel discriminated against by being forced to eat "smarter". They also don't have mountain dew or doritos because they want every one to be healthy. I don't like that. Also Mr Binder talks about beating prerry view alot but I think this could be bad because this could influence kids to get too into beating that school that if they win our school might actually hurt a student in that school which isn't good and I think that Mr.Binder is too obsessed with beating that school and could tone it down. Also the cheerleaders at those prep rallies wear very short skirts that are shorter than what dress code says. If me or a girl wore something that short we would get in trouble so why does the school let cheerleaders do that? Also the computers aren't even custom PCs and every one knows custom ones run better so if somebody makes a petition for custom PCs it could rub better because sometimes during lunch I like to play Minecraft and it doesn't run that good and microsaft word crashes a few times. Also the internet is only okay because when I try to play some sonic games on my phone (not an iphone) it won't connect to the internet WIFI for the sonic competition online. 3/10 school -andrew
