This place is pretty overpriced for what they have to offer. The only meat option they have is ground beef. We ordered the enchilada and the supreme nachos. The enchilada was $4.99 and was extremely small... the nachos were good, but not worth over $6. The only redeeming thing was the fresh peach shake I got. But even that was over $5 for a small. Not sure if we just ordered the wrong things or just had high expectations for what we ordered/ paid for. If you are going for an equal balance of quantity for price you will only be disappointed here.

Awesome food!! More of an American Mexican type but, they also have hamburgers, the most fantastic French fries and great ice cream treats. It's definitely a place that has something for everyone!! I love their soft flour tacos, bandios and meat and bean burritos, and of coarse their French fries! Service is always fast, friendly and never had a problem with an order.

This place has totally amazing food! The angel burger is basically the Big Mac but a heck of a lot better. There cookie doe shake was awesome! And they have great customer service(mainly the girl who took my order, she was so nice!) all in all, and amazing place to eat

me and my wife stopped by taco amigo spent $28.00 customer service was great! the food on the other had everything was bland and dry. the only thing we could finish was the quesadilla that looks more like a cheesy roller. the double cheeseburger and the chicken smothered burrito. First time here and probably the last.

Really enjoy the fresh fruit milk shakes in summer. I’ve told many about them and encourage them to go. The rest of the menu is like any other drive through Mexican food stand. Nothing great. Nothing bad.

Taco Amigo is a local treasure! Their food is very tasty especially their fresh seasonal fruit milkshakes. They are about $5 for a small but worth every penny. I highly recommend the peach one in late August!

Kinda funny. I had been in town for business about 12 weeks. Found this place on my very last day. Closest thing to Tex-mex I can find in these parts.I had the soft tacos. Not bad at all. Quite the crowd but worth it. Next time I am in town, that's the first stop.

This place is so delicious. My favorites are the cheese melt and the regular hamburger. Their fry sauce is amazing, and much better than other fry sauces. The people working here are pretty friendly. Their American food is better than their Mexican food. The fries are excellent. The large fries are huge! Oh, I mentioned the cheese melt or cheese burrito. It's so delicious, especially dipped in their fry sauce. They call their fry sauce "pink sauce."

This place is a must for peach shakes. Even after my wife and I moved to Mapleton we still drive here to buy a few (We keep them in the freezer) They are seasonal but anyone who's tried one has gone back for more. Never had their tacos but their burgers and fries are pretty good. Better than most fast food places.

Here's my honest opinion on taco amigo. The fry sauce is amazing, so are their fresh strawberry shakes. Whats less amazing is the price of the food with the portion sizes. The burritos and burgers are half the size youre paying for.

This is one of the more quirky fast food "Mexican" joints around. I believe that more people eat burgers and fries here than tacos. The prices are pretty reasonable. The flavors are on point and set themselves aside a bit from competitors. Employees meet expectation. Parking is adequate. Egress is typically ok, but can be difficult at the wrong time of day.

This place is practically a part of me! Growing up in Orem we would always eat here. Nearly 20 years later my entire family continues to eat from Taco Amigo. No complaints about either location. Both are very well kept. Plus the food and shakes are the best around!

Does any fast food restaurant have a better fish taco? I find that with the right hot sauce and a dash of lime the fish tacos are a legit non gut bomb for lunch. 5 stars is hard for fast food but these fish tacos are the item to order when at Taco Amigo

The service is fine. I don’t have any complaints about that. It’s the food that’s awful. I went into “Taco Amigo” expecting them to know how to make a decent taco. They don’t. It’s like if your 73 year old Norwegian grandmother, who’d have never met a Mexican person or eaten Mexican food in her life, tried to make Mexican food. Crazy bland. Ingredients are cheap. Their “hot sauce” is little more than ketchup. Their burgers and shakes on the other hand are actually okay. They should change their name to Burger Friend and erase any connection to Hispanic food from their entire company.

I think 76% of my genetic makeup is Taco Amigo. I've been eating it my entire life. While some "outsiders" might not understand the amazingness that is TA, I find the food delicious and almost comforting. Hot shoestring french fries and pink sauce, omg. The staff (a lot of familiar faces, because of being family owned) is always kind, happy, and wonderful too! So, go and give this Pleasant Grove institution a try. You might just fall in love.

The best thing though is the fresh peach shakes! They are a little on the pricey side but well worth it. They are made with peaches picked from their own orchards. It's like peaches and cream in a cup!

I really like their fries, fry sauce, and glaciers! The glaciers are ice cream - slush mix, they have a bunch of flavors and I want to try them all! So far my favorite flavor is pina colada. It's good bang for your buck here, a lot of good food for a good price.

It's just OK. It wasn't the best food I've ever had, but it wasn't the worst either. While eating, I definitely didn't think "this is Mexican", but their shakes are great. Based on reviews, people seem to like it here. I don't share the same sentiment, which is OK.
