Popular unassuming spot with classic American food. The entire staff is extremely friendly and they have a decent selection of local beers. My favorite is the Red Rock Elephino. Steak and shrimp fajitas are a Thursday special, but the burgers are nothing to miss out on. Love the new location and atmosphere. Especially when it's cold enough to have the fire going. Easily one of my top 3 choices when friends or family are in town.

The time on their door and online says they are open until 10pm from Wednesday to Saturday. We went in at about 9pm and the staff kicked us out because they were “closed.” They have great food, an interesting menu, and quick service, but almost every time I’ve visited the staff has been snappy.

Very tasty burger, tender and delicious calamari! Very strange to enter the restaurant through the wait staff station. There is a very strong aroma of the grill, which is to be expected since it is The Citris Grill! I didn’t care much for the ambiance, it felt cold and cluttered but, the service was good, friendly and casual. Ample parking, wheelchair accessible, family friendly and there is a bar. Looks like they can accommodate larger parties. I will return, mostly because the menu is so varied!

This place was so nasty. I ordered the beer battered shrimp taco which came with a side of tortilla chips and salsa. I kid you not, the salsa was not chunky and it tasted like marinara sauce, just not good...and the chips were stale tasting. I bit into my shrimp taco and it smelled like dirty feet, I kept trying to eat but the stench made me gag, I literally could not finish my meal. The topper for me was when I found a long hair in my taco, I didn't even eat 1/2 of what was served. I went afterwards to McDonald's and the filet of fish was better than the food I ordered and Citris Grill. It's a wonder this place stays in business with such gag worthy food, needless to say I WILL NOT be returning here again and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone I know.....YUCK!!!!

I got the smoked salmon Benedict. I was pleasantly surprised. Pretty good quality, decent service, clean inside, no wait, good time with friends, pigeons and sea otters. I didn't have an extensive tasting of the menu, but I was there for brunch and it completely satisfied my desires. Have I had better? Of course, we all have, but at the same time I'd prefer coming back here than go to Black Bear Diner or Village Inn any day, that's for sure. Pricing is fair. For brunch you'll spend less than 10 dollars for an entree. I think if you're in the area, not a bad place to try out. Not going to tout it as your next favorite restaurant, but good to try out on a hung over Saturday morning.

They always have good food. Lots of flavor and good combinations. The service could be a little faster but they don't usually have that many servers in the early morning, which is when we usually go. I did try to find some vegan options for a friend that I was going to invite but there are none. They have lots of vegetarian options but pretty much all of them come with cheese or eggs or some kind of non-meat animal product. It's not a big deal to me but is for vegans. Other than that like I said it is a good place to eat. Give it a try. I do like their lunch menu a little better than the breakfast menu but we usually don't make it to lunch. Lunch time is definitely busier but they have more servers too so the wait isn't long and service is faster at lunch.

Overall not bad. Food is OK, my burger was well cooked, on the large side. Fries were good. Had the split peas soup too. Kinda blant but OK. My wife had a salad that was also OK, nothing to rave about. The place is kinda pricey though. Burgers and sandwitches are priced 8-10 which is fair. Entrees are overpriced. I wouldn't return unless another Groupon or other discount.

A casual cafe, with good food, friendly service and a nice atmosphere. The attention to detail is lacking, as the table I was in was still dirty. The service was on their schedule (not so regular), which made asking for a refill or sauces difficult, unless I wanted to sit for ten minutes. The food was delicious, though, so I'll be back.

I ate here almost a year ago and I was less than a raving fan, to say the least. So I haven't been back, until this past Sunday when our Sunday Brunch group decided to try it out after a suggestion from a friend. 15 of us showed up on Sunday. From the minute we arrived, I was impressed. The host (younger, shorter guy) was really nice and worked quickly to get a spot together for us. We were then promptly sat and immediately attended to. Our waitress, Jackie, was busy from the time we walked in until the time we walked out and yet not one coffee cup ever reached empty. She was AMAZING! Just little things that are impressive. For example, someone at the table thought the house dressing sounded good but couldn't decide on that or blue cheese so she offered to bring both on the side. There were 15 people and everyone liked what they ate and there were no mistakes made. This group of friends gets Sunday Brunch every week and this level of service is unexpected. We were certainly impressed. I had the Crunchy Almond French Toast. It was recommended by the amazing waitress and it was very, very good. I tried bites of a few other dishes as well. The Beni, the southwest wrap and the Blue Burger were all really good as well. When we left, several friends asked "why don't we come here more often". This group is not easily impressed and everyone was impressed by Jackie's service and the food quality. We'll be back for sure.

This is my favorite restaurant in Salt Lake City. I grew up next to it and it became a staple in our week. Now I have to eat there every time I visit! It is such delicious, simple, and flavorful food. Please don't miss the Southwest Chicken Wrap or Cobb Salad. The corn potato chowder is a great appetizer and you simply cannot go wrong!

I've been coming here since it 2014 and it was really good and consistent for awhile. The last year, maybe two, it has been subpar. I usually always get the grilled cheese of the day, because when I first started coming here it was amazing. Good cheese to bread ratio, and grilled and melted to perfection. Now the last several times I've ordered the grilled cheese I've had to send it back because the cheese in a GRILLED CHEESE sandwich hasn't been melted. Today after in sent it back, they clearly microwaved it then threw it on the grill for a few seconds. It was melted cheese on bread. Not worth the calories. I'm not sure what changed over the last few years, but my entire family has noticed a change in the quality of food, and even service. I keep telling myself I won't go back, but the location is convenient and we don't have a lot of options - which is probably why they can get away with subpar food. It's really sad as it would be so nice to have a decent restaurant with a bar license in this area.

My wife and I love this place! We love it so much so that we drive from Draper just to go here. My wife always gets the Spinach Ravioli. I love the pork loin and the potatoes and vegetables that come with it. Keep up the great work, Citris Grill!

We came here with a large party for lunch and we were seated in a 'separate' room, so to speak. We all ordered a variety of dishes and everyone was satisfied with what they had ordered. I myself like to sample the local fare involving Pesto, Pesto pizza to be exact. So the sauce and ingredients were fabulous, the crust I was no so impressed with, it was wide for the size of the pizza, thin New York style, but that ended up making the crust overly dry

Loved my salad- a steak asian mix. small size was perfect. i also tried the corn chowder which i didn't love but it was okay. spinach and artichoke dip was very good and my husbands pizza was outstanding. loved the atmosphere, prices, and that there are many more things i want to try on the menu. will be back! this is my new favorite place!

They’ve upped their game, IMO. I had not been for awhile after not being that impressed. I went two times recently and found pleasant staff, good food, and reasonable prices. Addition: Second time for brunch today....the Citris Breakfast is a great deal at $8. It comes with three eggs, toast (they buy local bread and the English muffins are so delicious), hash browns, and choice of bacon/sausage/ham. It is a good amount of food, well-cooked, and tasty. We have ordered one kids cheese pizza twice now for our two young kids. It's a really good pizza that comes with a side and drink for $5.

Not too many vegetarian dishes, but that's not a big deal. The fries that came with the sandwich were beyond old and severely overcooked. The waitress was nice and brought out the new plate promptly. The staff is nice, but the prices aren't cheap for your regular, garden-variety food.

The food was good. My only complaint is that a waitress kept complaining out loud about customers and using profanities. I think there is a time and place for both, I don't believe it should be done out loud in the restaurant while you are working. There were families with kids in the restaurant.

I used to eat there about once a week, until I had a very bad experience. To make matters worse, after complaining about a horrible waitress and requesting a new one, my party was ignored for the next 1 1/2 hours. It's hard to believe business is that good that you can blow off your regular customers.

I have always loved this restaurant, which was a favorite of my dads for years. I now like to lunch there with his girlfriend Pattie, and we have never been disappointed by the food. They could have a little more lighting for the middle tables, as we had a little trouble reading the menus last time we were there We wondered why the booths were so well lit, but not the tables. July 8, 2015 The fish tacos were delicious, as usual, but there was no warning that the "cucumber coleslaw" was anything but cool and comforting. I am not sure what I bit into from that bowl of coleslaw but my mouth exploded inside with fire. It was painful and shocking. Not a word of warning on the menu, or even from the waitress, that one should be wary of that cucumber coleslaw. I expected cool and smooth, and instead was put into pain from the hotness of the jalapeno or whatever was in that coleslaw. Please warn customers about the cucumber coleslaw that accompanies the wonderful fish tacos. Not everyone grew up in Utah and is used to spicy, hot food. I have eaten the fish tacos at the Citris Grill when it was on 3300, and the coleslaw was not hot. If not for the unpleasant experience of this coleslaw, I would rate the Citris Grill a 5.
