This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Cambodian restaurant.
Awesome food. One of the bests for sure. Prices aren't bad and the wait isn't too long. I definitely recommend trying it out! You might be impressed
Great food. Low prices. Gets crowded though..good sign of great food! Staff is super friendly. Time to expand. One of the best place to eat. Where can you dine out for a family of four...great food...byob..for less than $60. ENOUGH said..
Loved the food here. Have come here several times because of the great Cambodian food. It is always very busy. Food is perfect but the wait for it can be a bit long because of the crowd. It is worth the wait though because of the flavors. Staff can be very rushed sometimes because of the crowd. Would recommend this place as the best restaurant for Cambodian food in RI.
Excellent prices and serving sizes. Great food. The soups are especially great deals, especially the to go.
Nice place , nodels are excellent. I think it’s the best thi restaurant in RI that I have tried
Great food. On a busy weekend is better to get takeouts if you really hungry. If not wait in the line the great thing about this restaurant is that you could bring your own liquor and beer which is amazing and the service is amazing also they treat you like family
This is the only restaurant that I know that doesn't bring everyone's food out at the same time. My parents got their food 20min ago but I'm still waiting. The food is good but not the service
I got take out from here and everything came out perfectly, it survived the long ride home. It was fast and the employees were super helpful and friendly
Great food, excellent friendly service. Also byod...
Been coming here 20 years.. Never been disappointed
The food is pretty good here. not the best but ok
Best Casual spot in Providence, BYOB is an obvious plus. Don’t go without getting the crispy garlic wings!
Definitely go here. Won't disappoint. BYOB
The food is good, but the outside of the restaurant needs some TLC.Trash on the sidewalk, hire someone to pick it up. PRESENTATION GOES A LONG WAY ,YOUR CUSTOMER'S DESERVE BETTER
30 years later and it's still one of my favorite restaurants in Providence. A+
One of the best places to get Cambodian, Thai Vietnamese, and Chinese food! Highly recommend to try everything on the menu for each dish has all unique depth of flavors that are just mouth watering and simply exquisite
Very pleasant, great food..Waiter very nice and friendly playful.
one of the Waiters was very funny , very good food
As always the food and service were exceptional!
One of my family's favorite places to eat. Food is consistently good. Menu is extensive and there is plenty to choose from if you're a meat eater or not. This place can get real busy at times and it may take a little longer to get seated and get your order, but be patient because it will be worth the wait. I like the chicken nime chow, garlic ginger pea pod leaves, ginger beef and the crispy thai chicken wings, just to name a few.
Excellent price-quality, the personal are very friendly. I reccomend it!!!
Apsara on Public is consistently great! Big portions for short money, nice staff, pretty quick service. Plan ahead on holidays, as they can get pretty busy with pickup orders. Try the crispy shrimp rolls + get a bubble tea!
I've passed here so many times I can't even count and boy do I regret not enjoying this place sooner. I had Singapore noodles which were cooked to perfection. The pancake was crispy yet moist inside and the beef teriyaki was bomb
If you want some good Cambodian food, you have to try this place. It has been around for years. They do not serve alchohol but you are allowed to bring in your own. It is a okay size which means it can get packed and busy at times. The portions are big and the prices are not that expensive.
This place has been around for a long time. It’s always something that people know about or frequent. It’s not the fanciest place in the world, nor is it the most easily accessible, as parking can be a hassle if they are very busy. But the food is always consistent, and the prices are very good. Most of the dishes are very filling, almost too much for any one person to finish. The best way to eat here, would be to share your food. Of course, if you don’t like to share, that’s fine, but expect some left overs to take home. They have a good mix of different Asian cuisines available. Some pretty standard fare that you’ll most likely recognize, as well as some things you may not, I’ve traveled all over Asia, and there have been a few dishes that I’ve not found anywhere else, other than their country of origin, at this restaurant. The set menus they have for lunch specials are huge. They are priced very well for the amount of food you receive. On of my favorites here is their mango chicken. I’ve not seen it anywhere else in the area, and it’s delicious.
Absolutely amazing! I got the crispy chicken and eggplant satay (and I don’t even like egg plant) and this dish was AMAZING!! So much flavor and not greasy! Chicken were small and easy to eat. The fried rice was
The food is amazing as are the prices. Paul is such a great waiter. This is a busy place so wait times can be long on the weekends and lunch time. It is BYOB which is a plus. I too a star off because the lady at the front desk can be a bit rude sometimes.
Amazing food, definitely my favorite restaurant. The prices are great, the small wait is always worth it. I recommend Singapore noodles with shrimp and the sweet and sour soup (ask for fresh chili peppers on the side for some heat... An awesome recommendation from a server).
It's cheap, but tasty. Service also really good. Worth every penny
The food is very good. But there is a usual wait. Food is always hot and fresh never been disappointed here.
DON"T expect 5 star service or a Manhattan atmosphere. EXPECT phenomenal food at a great price. This place never fails. I LOVE Apsaras. I highly recommend you pay a visit. You can bring your own wine :)
Food was pretty good, service was okay. They handed me my bill before I got my food, I think they thought I was loitering and wanted me to leave. A few minutes later they brought my food and someone else took the bill back.
Don't let the neighborhood distract you from this destination restaurant. Parking is easy and the food is worth it. Even those of us inexperienced in Cambodian cuisine can tell this is the real deal.
Favorite Asian place to eat in all of RI. Public street place has bigger portions, lower prices, and better quality than the Hope St version Exceptional menu choices with a variety of dishes from various parts of Asia. Food consistency is always outstanding. I Love their BeBong as well as their Eggplant Satay adding fried tofu. We have yet to have a bad meal or exceptional service!
The price is very good. I don't like that cups and mugs were dirty the day I went there.
Food freshly cooked and amazing as always!
I always love Apsara. I had ginger chicken combo, which was delicious! Next time, something with lemon grass!
Great food and great prices. Never disappointed.
The food is delicious!! I always get take out
Really good food you should try it
Very busy and the place was kind of small but it was worth the wait! We had a party of seven, with no reservations, and we only had to wait about 30 minutes. The menu is massive, the food was outstanding, and the portions are huge! Service was prompt and the appetizers came out very quickly, followed by the entrees shortly thereafter. Hot and delicious! By the way, it's a BYOB restaurant, so if you want beer or wine with your meal, bring it with you. I'll definitely eat here again!
Love this place! Hadn't been there since my son was born 9 years ago and it's the same. Hugh amount of delicious food for very reasonable prices. I like the ambience too, especially given the neighborhood.
The place was pretty small inside and fairly noisey during lunch time. The service was okay. But, the food was great!! I got the Mongolian Beef with an egg roll. The beef was soft and mildly spicy which was nice.
Good food, fast moving pace
Great foods and okay pricing
We went at lunch on a Thursday and was busy. They sat us in 15 min. 6 people. Food came out and quickly. I love this place. I need one in Florida.
The best nim chow!
Best spicy chicken wings ever! Great flavorful dishes, reasonable prices, and nice servers!
Best of everything. Nime Chow, Crab Rangoons, Wings, Curry Rice Noodle Soup...They give you so much food. Servers are always friendly, prices are great. Better to dine in than take out. My only gripes are that I've had a few incorrect orders via takeout and the contaiers for takeout are super wasteful. Apsara is a staple!
Fabulous Pad Thai, Thai pineapple fried rice, and natang :)
My family favorite Asian restaurant. Apsara food is amazing, inexpensive and tasty.
Awesome food. Love the soups!
Love this place!!! Damn it’s good! Just gets really crowded on weekends!! And it’s BYOB! Bring your own boos!!!
Love this place but had to give 4 stars because 1 time I got fried chicken take out for my mom and it was so dry and just not edible. It made me look like a liar when all I do is say how awesome the food is. That was my only bad experience.
Good food very reasonable prices
I had a pineapple fried rice delicious. I love the fresh pineapple with the fresh peppers and onions sliced so nice and neat And the flavoring is awesome not salty just rights.
My first time here so I am only giving it 4 stars but it really is very good. If the next visit goes as well then I will add the last star. Great selection of dishes; fish, seafood, pork, ,beef, chicken and vegetarian. Huge portions so you will have tomorrow's lunch! Very reasonable prices and open, friendly atmosphere.
The food is always delicious. nice quantity inexpensive the wait staff is very helpful they seem to want to make you happy
A diamond in the rough. Awesome, fresh Asian foods. Love the lady who takes the to go orders!
Coming here on New Year's Eve was amazing, because it was one of the only places open, and it was voted best of Rhode Island in 2018. The take out was crowded and the tables were full. The staff, though, were a finely tuned machine, cranking out delicious plates full of food The concept was interesting, built around the traditional eating style of the restaurant's owners. Each table had a plate of food for each seat that was occupied at the table. The food is then shared. The menu had options that included some gluten free items, so be aware that their allergen awareness is on point. Feel free to ask away, though, the staff is awesome at customer service!
If you are from Indonesia, better order one for two people. Taste like your home
A bit noisy, but the food was really good, ESPECIALLY for the price (two apps, two entrees and two Thai teas came to about $27 including tax). The staff was super friendly and helpful in recommending something new (the satay stir-fried noodles are a new fave). Also the best basic pad thai I've found in RI so far; the sauce wasn't thick or too peanut-heavy. Writing about it is making me hungry... Excuse me, I need to go order some to pick up.
Excellent food, nice variety of Asian dishes, really good deal on lunch specials. Especially like the chicken & shrimp w pineapple, tomatoes & onion. Tofu and veggies is great also.
Absolutely amazing food. Every single thing we ordered was delicious. Highly recommend the lemongrass chicken.
Visited half a dozen times. Ordered different things each time. Never had an average dish. Everything very flavorful. Very consistent portion sizes and quality of food. Equally consist is the customer service - exceptional! Best Asian restaurant! Only drawback - not enough parking and the open restroom door near the restaurant entrance.
Awesome food, affordable prices, good portion size and great atmosphere. Every time I visit the place is packed and with reason. One of the best spots Providence has to offer, and definitely a locals favorite.
The food is delicious!!! The portions are phenomenal. Staff is courteous. Fantastic place!!!
This place was packed, and great, and REALLY PACKED. But it was a very good time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food portions were large and delicious. And BYOB to a dinner place, that serves family style... That's just an excellent combination.
excellent Cambodian and Pan Asian food jam packed with flavor. Any choice of wings are good and my personal favorite is the fried rice with crispy shrimp black pepper.
Enjoyed the Cambodian food and the delicious tea
Good Cambodian food, good prices.
Priced well and delicious
Good and friendly service, usually really busy during lunch and dinner. Foods are delicious and as close to authentic to Cambodian good at you can get.
Always delicious, staff is quick and polite, interior is interesting and authentic, multiple visits in a months time because the menu has a good range of choices.
Tbh the fried rice is butt, but the chicken is still good
amazing food with huge portions for v cheap!! Staff is always incredibly sweet and food comes quickly. Very vegan friendly
Usually I takeout. Today I ate in everything was amazing as usual. But our serve was a real comedian. Took my friend from NYC she loved it.
truly a real good restaurant real good food good service I highly recommended even if you have to wait a few minutes in line
Their food is amazing!
Come here with family. Food is soo good and byob is awesome too. Prices are really great. Good portions.
This restaurant has been a nieghborhood staple for as long as i can remember. Authetic food, done right. It never disappoints. Stepping into Apsara is stepping into the rich culture of Providence fit snuggly under one roof.
Had my Birthday Day Party/Dinner.
Best VEGGIE rice in Providence RI. Great Nime Chow. The Staff is professional courteous and most are significantly respectful. The owner showed me personal consideration by reiterating that he appreciates all his customers. And I …
Grat food but very long waits as the restaurand is allways full. Thats how good tbat place is.
Food is delicious I would give them a five with no hesitation but the fact that the customer service sucks makes me give them a three. The lady that answer the phone is super RUDE and never can understand anything (I have a perfect English) she even hang up on me. I love their food and always tell all my friends to go there but if I keep getting this kind of experience every time I call imma stop going there and recommending them. APSARA you can do better you guys have excellent FOOD.
Unbelievable menu selections, excellent service and the best SE Asian dishes in RI. Very attentive staff. If you're a foodie, you will enjoy!
Very clean and very nice place
I traveled from Austin TX the best Thai restaurant
I had the fried pork mush thingy and it was so good.
Ok. My 3rd fav more fast food style
Great place! Food is fresh and amazing! If you are ordering take out it's best to call before you go in. Takeout wait is like 20-30min wait time. Very busy restaurant. Very clean and in order.
Great place to eat! Super cheap and huge portion sizes. Always busy, with limited parking. Our food took a little long to come out, but was totally worth it. Huge variety of options that can suit everyone’s needs.
I've only been here twice but the food is always very good and the servers are very nice.
Wonderful thai food. Great prices, friendly ambiance, excellent food. Hidden gem in the city.
Great service and great food
The food is so good and always fresh. The workers are great people and it is BYOB!!!
Great food good portions good people reasonably priced!
Always fast and good service. Delicious food that tastes fresh. Great low prices and BYOB. Can't beat it! Parking isn't great but it's still worth it!
Best khmer resturant in Providence. Hands down. Great service and price.
Food was great, but both my friend & I got food poisoning.
Great food, huge portions, fast wonderful service and the people are all fantastically nice. Awesome place.
Definitely my go-to spot when I'm in Providence! The staff is incredible! And the food is amazing!
great food and service. generous portions also
Food was good. Place is a bit run down. Service a little slow.
I love Aspara’s so the fact that the following happened to me is very disappointing: I recently ordered take out and found a long, crunchy and disgusting piece of hair cooked into my veggie fried rice. They need to be more careful, ensure that employees are wearing hair nets and following health and safety regulations... needless to say, I will most likely never be returning. Sorry not so sorry.
Always love to go there.
Dare I say the best nime chow in the state..probably further. I have been INFATUATED for 23 years with every offering they serve. You will be too!
Always great food.
