I love the variety. The original flavors are unique to this restaurant. Spring rolls, egg rolls,rice noodles, beef and broccoli, andf the potato halves you must try!!!! They even let you order by the pound to go!! My favorite place!!! They will cook anything fresh as well!!! Grants is lucky to have this place!!

I used to run a high-end Japanese restaurant and currently a travel physician from NYC. For the past 1 year when I fly to Grants for work, I would dine here when I am craving for Chinese food. From outside, the look can be deceiving but the food is delicious and fresh if you are craving for Chinese food when you are staying at nearby hotels. Even though it may be only a 1-2 stars comparing to restaurants in major city NYC, etc; it certainly deserves 5/5 stars in Grants and I can attest that its the best Chinese restaurant in Grants or within 45 mile radius. This is a family-owned restaurant (father/mother and their 2 kids) and they make sure their food is constantly fresh around the clock. They don't have a lot of selection (~15 Chinese dishes + ~10 American food) but they certainly do master their dishes well which you can tell by the pictures I have taken. Their sit-in buffet is about $10/person (?) and if you prefer to take out, the price was lower even when I stuffed the to-go container. Besides buffet, they also have the typical Chinese menu that you can order dishes off that are not displayed on the buffet line. If you are a local and need to throw a party, they can accomdate that as well. I have several times ordered significant amount of Lo Mein and fed the entire hospital staffs at a nearby small hospital and everyone loved it. The place is very nice inside, the food has been great all the times I have gone, and the staff is always friendly. After my first visit, the woman knew I wanted hot tea, and I've never ran out of water. Their hot and sour soup is excellent, and because i like it very hot, they offer sriracha on the side to put on dishes. All of the fried foods were crunchy and crisp. Their pastries are kept sealed so they are very fresh and crispy. I am not sure why this place has gotten poor reviews, because I have had nothing but great dining experiences there; however, I have only ever been to the lunch buffet.

Do NOT waste your time at this buffet.. The selection is horrible, the food was old and it wasn't even warm.. We got there at 6:30 on a Saturday night and there was only 1 other couple in there.. $8.95 for the dinner buffet and it isn't worth it.. We will not ever go back.

My friend and I stopped in Grants for the night while visiting surrounding Pueblo sites. Looking for something scrumptious to eat, we should have taken the empty parking lot as a warning sign...and just headed to Subway. This buffet is awful. The soup was a solid. The Crab Ragoons were in their third or fourth stage of evolution...about 10 minutes away from bipedalism. The Spring rolls were Summer ripe. We took a huge risk eating here...while on vacation. It was like Russian Roulette ...but with projectile vomiting instead of bullets. Luckily we didn't get sick at this All You Can't Eat Buffet...Don't take a chance!

Don't know why other reviews are critical of this place. I have seen it so busy every booth and most tables were full. For a relatively small community of Grants, they draw a good crowd, especially on weekends. I have been comming here for years and see consitantly good, hot, fresh food (similar to other Chinese 'fast food') with the added bonus of diverse selections such as egg fu young, soups, seafood (dinner hours), rice noodle chow mein, etc. For dessert...scoop-your-own ice cream is a great touch along with Asian cookies/cakes and a fruit bar. I think it is an overall great value, and plan to stop by the next time I haul along Interstate 40 (they also have space for truck/RV parking around the side/back of building!!).

I've been coming here for at least 10 years when I'm in town. My mom and I have this as out favorite place to have lunch. Its stayed the same for the most part so the comfort level is definitely there.

wasnt expecting the experience to be that great in this little town it was actually really great! we caught the end trails of the dinner rush, but the food still tasted great. didnt like the orange chicken too much. the donuts are amazing. steamed rice, mouth watering. the interior and cleanliness of the restaurant was grade A too!

Been here more times than I can remember over the years, even before they moved to this location. Always good, and never had a bad experience. This place is like an old friend and a staple in the community. In reading other's comments, some say there's limited selection. Not so - this is small town Grants New Mexico, not the hipster city they may be accustomed to. Great variety for here. Food is made in small batches, so it is fresh. There's remarks about the "looks" of the building (?!) Well, it's been any number of businesses before it became a restaurant. It's clean, well-kept.

The Asian Super Buffet is truly one of the asian buffet gems along I-40. Family-owned and delicious food, especially for the price. I believe the buffet costs $8.99, so there is some value to stopping for a bite here. Every time I visit ABQ from Denver, I make it a point to drive out to their location in Grants to eat. Not impressed! Stayed overnight nearby while traveling to Denver. Certainly not "Super". Not really a large selection of dishes; while many needed to be refilled. Several of the food item pans were almost empty. I passed on the beef and broccoli after the first bite. For what was available, it was overpriced. Also, they did not offer any senior discount.

It's a buffet, and they have the staple Asian dishes. Ice cream did not exceed my low expectations... But it was still cold and sweet. Best item on buffet was probably chicken on a stick fire simplicity. Clean booths and overall facility. Baked potatoes were a nice addition to the normal dishes!

I have eaten at very many Asian buffets all over the West, and I have to say that this one was one of the very best....They have an extensive buffet with items that are all fresh and tasty. If you couple that with the post-meal premium ice cream station and the $8.50 price, you have a true winner!

Pleasantly suprised. Thursday night buffet at 7 PM and about 6 cars in parking lot. Thought I would try it out and see. I found it to have a wide variety of good food including many deserts. They keep portions on buffett small at night so it stays more fresh as they make new. I think its as good as any out there and I have eaten at more than 10 different Asian places across the USA. It also has a nice quiet atmosphere. I will return again...

I almost decided not to eat here. The outside of the building is unimpressive and there usually aren't many cars around, at least for the size of the building. I'd been past several times and the blinds were always closed on all the windows. Given the look of the place I didn't think the food would be good. But I'm glad I went! The food was tasty and fresh. They had a good variety of staples you'd expect to find. Polite and attentive wait staff. The restaurant was clean and well lit inside. Bathrooms were clean, even if they badly needed a remodel! I'd eat here again if I have an occasion to.

Jalapeño Poppers were poppin'! It was the best part. Otherwise, the food was tasty and worth the price. They also have the best mints ever! Guava flavored mints, aka candies. Try it out if your around. The easily accommodate for big groups with so much space.

I personally liked the beef and broccoli. The crab Rangoons were delicious. Stopped here traveling to Michigan from Arizona and Natalie at Walgreens suggested the buffet. She said they had great rice and they did. Why some seniors feel entitled to discounts idk but this place didn't deserve a bad review for not offering them. The cashier was very kind. It was clean. The food was good and affordable.
