It's hard finding a good burger joint, one that handcrafts fresh, not frozen, beef. The day my wife and I went they had a special; juicy Lucy burger. Absolutely delicious along with their homemade fries, onion rings and chips. You can see the grill and watch the FRESH ingredients cook. Highly recommended. The only reason it's not a five star review is because of the cigarette smoke.

I found this place because someone on Facebook posted a picture of a burger that looked amazing and it peaked my interest. I really like this place because it has a hidden gem feel to it. The atmosphere was awesome and relaxing, the place was super clean and full of good vibes, and the food was amazing. So glad I stumbled upon this place and will definitely recommend it to everyone.

Have always had great food until this last visit. My husband had great finger steaks and a Cold schooner of beer and I had the seafood sampler. 6 pretty good sized breaded shrimp 2 pieces of nasty breaded cod(3"x 3") almost burned to a crisp, also nasty homemade baked potato salad. Will not be getting that again until a new cook is hired. $11.00 for ick. One waitress good, the other so so.

Good food with huge servings (I always get 2 meals out of 1 order), great service, smoking allowed. Great place for breakfast, 'The Gringo' is amazing (chicken fried steak burrito topped with gravy), lunch, their specials are always tasty, and dinner, try the prime rib special. Locally owned. Not fancy, but a low key, comfortable place to have a meal and a drink. We go often because we can always expect the same experience.

I got their take on a Reuben and it wasn't good. My friend got chicken strips which looked impressive (Like 3 chicken patties), but turned out to be really thin and mostly breading. Their sauces seemed watered down, (Thin, runny ketchup and fry sauce). Our server was very busy and was just going through the motions. Their fries and tater tots are good and they give healthy portion sizes.

Wow...what a horrible meal. Normally the GR has pretty decent food, but they missed the mark today....by a long shot. Ordered 2 burgers, and both were tough as leather. My wife had a hard time cutting the meat with a knife. My onion rings were grease soaked, and my wife's fries were grease soaked and burnt. I don't know WHY the food was so aweful, but this will be the last time the GR gets my money. I pray they get their act together, I really do. Ugh.

It’s a bar with damn good bar food! Good service but the food is amazing! Burgers are great, try the everything burger if you want something huge. The chicken fried stake is fantastic. The finger steaks are the best in this town. My wife doesn’t care for the bar scene but very willing to go here because the food is fresh and tasty.

This review is specific to their new second location, Ol' Town GR at 117 Main Avenue East in, well, Old Town Twin Falls. We had a pleasant dinner outdoors, sharing the immense one pound burger, garlic fries and a salad. The service was very good and so fast I barely had time to read the plaque noting this place was a bakery in the early 20th Century. There's a friendly pub ambiance but unfortunately I was driving. Very generous portions, no room for dessert.

I'm afraid Google got this one wrong, the GR is NOT a "Family Friendly chain" its a 21 & up only, locally owned & operated bar & grill, so don't even think about dragging your rug rats in there. But if you want an excellent burger, a big beer, & the peace of no kids ruining your night out, this is the place for you. Seriously the best restaurant in Twin Falls.

I was excited to try this place. There are tons of great reviews on Google and Facebook. Decided to go to lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Walked in the door and immediately walked right back out. This is a bar not a restaurant. Immediately upon entering my wife and I were assulted by the reek of cigarette smoke. That's an immediate no for me. In this day to try and cultivate a restaurant atmosphere you can't allow smoking. Really disappointed too.
