First of all, the service is excellent. I won’t go into details, but the way things were handled we top notch, well above average. The particular meal I got also provided a highly substantial amount of food. So filling that I didn’t even finish it all. The price was also appropriate. Been here a couple times and plan to keep coming back.

For the price, I left very unimpressed. I got the brisket sandwich, in whichthe bread was inedibly dry and the brisket tough. The house barbecue sauce was low quality. I got the side salad, which was actually very good. Mediocre service.

Happened onto this great little BBQ joint, while vacationing this summer. My wife claimed it was the best adult grilled cheese she's ever eaten! Guy Fieri, Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, should definitely check this place out! Excellent food, excellent service, and the coldest beer in town!

I have always been a huge fan of Big Hole BBQ. Their food is great but the last visit I had was a nightmare. After ordering dinner for my coworkers for take out, I realized half-way back that I was missing a meal and one of the other meals was wrong. My husband and I tried calling to see if we could have the issue resolved and was hung up on. Not once, not twice, EVERY SINGLE TIME that we tried to call we were hung up on for 5+ minutes. The customer service I received was completely uncalled for and i'm not sure if I will be returning. Not an experience easily forgotten that is for sure.

2 visits 2 days in a row. Food was AWESOME on both occasions. Brisket, onion rings, wings dry rub, beet salad... all delicious! The place was very busy both times with several folks picking up take out. First lunch we had Jaime for a server and service was so bad we almost didn't come back. Bussed our own table, and had to go looking for her a couple times? Second visit we had Logan for a waiter, he was great, attentive, and friendly. A great place in Victor.

We arrived for dinner about 7 p.m. We were quickly served water and our waitress was quickly back to take our drink orders. We had to wait awhile for our food as the restaurant was very busy. The waitress would come by often to check on us and apologize for our wait. My wife and I ordered brisket sandwiches. They were so HUGE we couldn't eat it and ended up leaving it to be discarded. The brisket was delicious as was our daughter's pulled pork sandwich. We would definitely go again if in the area.

We walked in quite close to closing time. Sometimes the service is lacking when it's time to close, but they basically talked us into sitting down to eat. The food was tasty, the portions were more than adequate, and the service was amazing! Thank you for accommodating the latecomers! Did I fail to mention that ribs were fall off the bone, smoky goodness?

Food was excellent! We ordered Beef Brisket and Fish and chips. Meat was nice and tender, unlike how some beef can be. Fries were thin and crunchy, sort of like potato sticks. Very good. The fish didn't have that fishy aftertaste. The dip for the fish really complimented the meal. Wait staff was nice and friendly. Definitely worth the visit!

Good food. They did a good job accommodating 26 of us 1 hour before closing when most of the seating inside was taken. We sat outside on a cool September night and had a great time. They did such a good job you would have thought we were the only ones there. This place only seats 45 inside so we were a significant group for them. A single waiter handled all of us and probably 15 checks like it was no big deal. Wish I had gotten our waiter's name so I could thank him personally here.

I hate smoked chicken but omg this smoked chicken was awesome. It didn't have that strong smoked taste or smell. The French fries were thin and crispy, customer service was great. The thy have an upstairs sitting area but it's still small indoor and outdoor. They say the macaroni and cheese is awesome but we didn't have it this time.

This place is quite popular, so we felt pretty lucky to secure a table on our first night in town. Patio seating was not available due to weather, so everyone was crammed in downstairs. Unfortunately, this makes the environment beyond loud. If you have children who can be sensitive to the level of noise in a restaurant like mine, I'd recommend ordering to go. That said, the food was excellent, our waiter was spot on with recommendations and attentiveness, and I wouldn't hesitate to go again next time we are in Victor.

Great spot. The ribs were particularly well done. Smoked and then plastered in sauce and finished on a grill, if I had to guess. They were tender and delicious. The service was exceptionally friendly and we enjoyed all the food and drink we were served. Great spot if you're passing through town or staying for a few days.

The roof is a nice place for dinner and drinks. Our waitress had too many tables and we waited a half hour prior to getting drinks, but the food was phenomenal and I would have expected the menu to be more expensive for the amount of food they serve.

Kept seeing the people on the rooftop deck and smelling the smoke as we drove by. So glad we finally tried it. The hubby said we have to go there again before we leave town and he's not prone to such comments. Pulled Pork sandwich was perhaps the best I've ever had. Lean and impossibly tender on a huge bun that holds up to the meat and whatever sauce you add. The coleslaw is freshly made and crisp. He ordered the ribs and they were amazing. Smoky and fall-off-the-bone tender. The mac & cheese even had a wonderful smokiness. Recommend sitting upstairs for the great view.

Get the ribs, that is what they do amazingly well. People say the fish tacos are surprisingly good, but the ocean is far away. Everything else that I have had is good, but the ribs are excellent. Staff has always been nice, but of course things can change. There was a wind storm last time I was there and they went out of their way to help people who had been sitting outside. No one asked for things they just offered.

The food was excellent, the service not so much. The waitress was more interested in the boys in the corner than helping any of the customers. She came upstairs several times to check on them and ONLY them. She brought my drink to me, and didn't bring my boyfriends drink til we were about done eating. Had to interrupt her flirting to ask for that and napkins, and when we were finished, we sat for quite a while waiting for the check, which she never brought. We had to go ask for it. Probably won't reccomend.

We stopped at the Big Hole BBQ for lunch and were extremely happy we did. They had my husband's favorite beer, 208, which is made right there in Victor and we both had the Kobe Beef sliders. So delicious piled with great BBQ sauce and coleslaw. Our waitress was quick and friendly and we could tell it was a great place to eat because it was filled with locals. Wish we had this restaurant in Eagle, ID.

This place has some of the best bbq I have EVER had! The meat is perfectly flavored and just melts in your mouth. You have a choice of sitting upstairs or downstairs when weather permits, though upstairs has a great view of the town and surrounding mountains. The drink list includes many options of local beer and cider. I would highly recommend the pulled pork!!

My sister lives in Victor & told us we must go to Big Hole BBQ. The atmosphere is quaint & different. The waitresses are super nice. They have a small bar & seating for quite a few people. I ordered the B-Melt wguxh was amazing. What made it even better was topping it with the Spicy BBQ sauce. The mac & cheese was delicious & the chips & salsa was to die for. The salsa was spicy & fresh. It was overall an amazing experience.

While driving the Teton Scenic By-way my Wife and I decided to stop by for lunch because they had outside dining where we could sit with our dog. The waiter was very nice and bought a dish of water for our dog. I had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw on it and a side of fries..... unbelievably good. We prefer to get our food to-go because we don't like the waitress service there. Know that they do charge more for to-go orders. Last menu item we ordered was the loaded fries. I usually love them, but this time they weren't very loaded. Hardly any pork at all. Although I have to say the kitchen staff is great and Clay the kitchen manager works very hard and it's noticed and appreciated! I work at a hotel nearby and I send guests here for the best BBQ in town. I love that they have a rooftop seating area. Prices are a bit high.

I got their big hole fries twice. The first time they were amazing but the second time they were complete garbage. Coworkers of mine have had the same experience. The brisket the second time tasted as if it was put in a blender, fed to a dog, and then thrown back up. The texture was awful and mushy. No consistency with this place. Good luck to visitors going. Maybe you will be one of the lucky ones.

Who the hell is tunning this place? I waited over an hour after ordering to go....only to be told that they were OUT of what I ordered. I talked to several people who also had been waiting over an hour. Not sure what your "system" is....but it sucks! Whether Idaho BBQ is comparable to Texas cue remains to be seen! The only upside here is that I met some really nice people....waiting a LONG time.

I can't stand that a place like this exists in the amazing town of Victor. The service is the worst, and it was even more pathetic during the Eclipse. As a local, I understand that some things needed to change when the amount of people descended on the valley, but I have been completely turned off and will never return to this place. They never answer their telephones, they never have anything that is on the menu, I'm pretty sure you can find a Unicorn faster than you can find their Prime Rib sandwich, and their prices are OUTRAGEOUS.
