Ordered their $22 fillet medium that came out well done. The second one came out after another good 15 minutes that was still medium well at best. When the bill came out we had been charged twice for the fillet with one being taken off and that’s it. When we asked about this we were told it was their way of keeping track of the steak “they bought” but actually they just don’t know how to take care of guest. Will never be back and will never recommend. First impression was good but true colors showed quickly

Horrible service. Went for me and my wife's anniversary and they messed up my food and when I told them they brought back the same plate hoping I wouldn't notice. She didn't even offer to replace it when I told her the order was still incorrect (because it was the same food!!!)

Awful place. Food is good but management is pathetic. Service is awful. Went in at about 9pm. 8 adults. Took over 1 hr to get food. One filter was way under cooked and sent back. Everyone else finished eating and were paying bill when they brought the redone steak. Told waiter it needs to come off the bill. Manager took a drink off instead. Shows what poor management looks like, especially in a nice restaurant.

Large, very nicely appointed restaurant with concrete floors and a good vibe. You won't likely get a waitress as friendly and outgoing as we did but everybody work together well. The veggie hamburger was among the top three I've ever had. Gorgeous outdoor seating is available for the 10 minutes of summer.

Great place, went for happy hour and was pleased with the service and the food. The drink menu is incredible and we are looking forward to going back again soon. The place is a bit stealthy - the Restaurant next door stands out a lot more with its signage when you drive by and it took a few times being in the neighborhood until we finally dropped in - well worth it.

Located next to a man-made Lake in the Riverstone development, Bardenay is very good with a nice varied menu. Indoor seating only in winter can get crowded at typical meal times, so if you adjust accordingly it's not bad. Parking gets full but there's usually plenty of space close by. They also have an extensive bar and cocktail list. Under 21 are welcome until 10pm.

It took the server 15 minutes to get to us, but after that she did a better job. "Kobe" beef tacos were bland, tough and meh, not good, and the Caesar salad it was served with was soggy and more like kimchi, which we did not order. The server got us a new, more crisp salad, but it still wasn't good. Better, but not good. This was the loudest restaurant I've been in in a very long time, which made the conversation extremely difficult, repetitive, annoying and a joke. Linguini picattas were both very salty, and heavily capered. Either don't use salt with capers, or use fewer capers. Other than the saltiness, it was decent. Drinks were excellent, thus the 2 stars.

Food was good. It is loud inside but quiet enough to hold a conversation. I would give the food a 4 star rating, we had an app, 2 entrees, and a kids meal. They were all great! The service on the other hand was lacking. We had to ask twice for a salad and a side of ranch. We just had water and my glass was empty more than It was full. Server was nice and pleasant and had a good knowledge of the menu. Maybe the server was too busy with too many tables. That being said, the service I give a 2.5. Overall I would be giving a 3.5 star review. But I can't do that so 3 it is.

The food was delicious and the drink menu was expansive and also delicious. The staff was super friendly and went out of the way to make sure our kiddos were happy. There are many different options for genre of food. The sunset is also absolutely gorgeous here and would be perfect for a romantic dinner.

Bardenay's is super fun and has an amazing menu. There is something on the menu that will appeal to everyone, whatever their taste may be. It is gorgeous in the summer with patio seating overlooking the Riverstone pond. I must say that the acoustics inside are loud. There are no carpet or ceiling tiles to absorb the sound. But this should not deter a person from enjoying this restaurant with such a great menu selection.

Before today, I didn't understand the kind of discrimination single parents encounter until I went to Bardenay for lunch. My son and I were ignored by multiple staff for the first 10 minutes we were there (outside was somewhat busy, inside had plenty of vacant seating) and then treated as though we were an inconvenience until we got up and left. Went to Azteca where we experienced the kindness and hospitality I'd expect from Bardenay but didn't receive. I won't be spending another dime at Bardenay nor recommending it to anyone going forward.

Updated review (5 stars): Okie dokie, time for an update from 3 to 5 stars and I will keep my first review of 3 stars as proof of progress. Won't lie, I was quite tentative returning but I ended up liking it. This time around; food was good, cleanliness was good, and the reasons I complained during my first visit seemed to be null. I'm happy to assume that the day I went before was just an off day. Original review (3 stars): Ambiance was fine, wasn't thrilled with the buffet. And I don't particularly like watching food handlers wear black gloves, touch their face, and then not change those gloves.

Mostly excellent Service (Kayla) was outstanding Creme Brulee was not great. Custard was a little off (not at all sweet) and the brulee was very UNDER bruleed - instead of a nice solid sheet of bruleed sugar it was about half brulee (golden brown bumps) and about 1/2 uncooked sugar. The cheese plate was delicious but the olive oil was very bland,tasted cheap. For the most part, worth the trip, definitely need to work on their creme brulee

Love this place! Always great food and drinks! The bloody mary and the beef tenderloin salad are my go tos at the moment. Always take my family when they are in town and they have raved about it. I'm never in a hurry when I'm here because sitting outside in the summer (if you can get a table) is always a plus. All around good food and everything I've tried here is great.

Great service but very noisy on a Saturday evening for dinner. They have a great selection of micro brews. My New York steak had what I would consider an excessive amount of fat and grizzle but was still fairly flavorful. The in house made ice cream was great. The staff, from the server, bus staff, to bartender are all friendly, knowledgeable and an asset to this North Idaho establishment.

It was okay. Me and my mom ordered fish & chips. The fries were pretty good, but the fish was way overcooked, very chewy. My dad & uncle's mash potatoes were very cold. The service was okay. The rest was fine, Probably won't come here again. ☹

Made it in time for the end of happy hour for a quick date with my wife. Our server was one of the nicest people we've met and by the end of our time I had found we grew up near each other and had similar reasons for moving to CDA. I like the originality of the cocktails and we had several between my wife and I. Great variety of food from Asian Fusion to good ol' American burgers with the perfect amount of char. Eat out on the deck it the weather is nice!

Drinks, quite good. Cheeseboard was great with lots of flavor and variety. Sadly that's the only positives of the visit. Burger was the serve'rs suggestion over the fish and chips, which is scary. Burger was lacking flavor and texture, fries were less appetizing than most in tow . Server Shelby forgot my bacon on my burger and blamed the abrupt power surge as the cause, but the entire order and all my picky modifications made it in with just enough power. Bacon never made it to the burger, server was much less attentive after the food came. Won't return for food. Possibly drinks.

Excellent service and exceptional food. Great view outside on the deck. Craft spirits were top notch; the ginger rum was perfectly balanced. Sea bass and gnocchi with sage brown butter was easily the best entree I've had this year. 8 oz filet was flawless. Sides were also very good, and the local artisan bread was tasty. The local pork, bacon on the filet, and chorizo in the chili, is super. Sadly, the chili was essentially tomato soup, with red beans and only a few tiny pieces of meat.

Cavernous spirit distillery and restaurant. Staff are courteous and place is clean. Lots of beer, wine and cocktail choices including their own Gin, Vodka and Rum. Happy hour specials from 4-6 include drinks and food. Tapas (small appetizers to share) are plentiful and good. Burgers and Main Entrees are good. You have to try the cider glazed pork chops with garlic mash and the fish and chips!

The food service was a disaster and very slow to bring our food. We arrived at 6:00 and didnt receive anything until around 7:15. That’s not how to earn repeat customers. I’d suggest eating something on the way. Two of 4 orders were not correct. Our steak was way undercooked, the sides were wrong. They waited 30 minutes to inform us that they no longer had lettuce and mushrooms. One dinner was delivered without the side of fries that was supposed to go with the meal. They apologized and asked which fries I wanted. I asked for regular fries and was delivered sweet potato fries. Furthermore, the bar service was horrible. The drinks were good, but receiving the correct drinks was asking too much. One guest ordered a second drink and received 3 different drinks until they finally brought the correct cocktail. The check was completely wrong. They tried charging us for the three drinks they brought out that we never even ordered. And while they were trying to fix the check, they attempted to serve our table a second complete dinner that we obviously did not order. It took them bringing the check back to our table 3 different times before it was correct. The waitress was awesome and very apologetic. She went above and beyond to try and make everything right. The kitchen and bar could definitely use better management. Overall we were very disappointed and would not recommend this restaurant.

I absolutely love the food here. The mediterranean plate is incredible. It is big enough to share with a whole group. Three stars because the service is HORRIBLE. Every single time i go just to get water takes forever and usually spend up to 2-2.5 hours here. I never go here if I am in a rush or want a quick dinner. Go here for amazing food and willingness to wait! The food keeps me coming back and the staff is nice despite being super slow.

I’ve been here multiple times with my wife and friends. The food and drinks are pretty good, the prices are so so, but the service is a hit and miss. Seems like their mostly college students and they act burned out or just doing a job. If you don’t mind a mediocre experience for more money than it’s worth enjoy it for what it is.

We walked over for an evening meal. It was very relaxing time on the patio. It was packed but the waitress diff her best. My turkey sandwich was tasty, my wife thinks the cheese platter was excellent even though the fruit was missed. We recommend it.

This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. The atmosphere is okay and not exactly comfortable. Service was awful and took over an hour to get our food once we ordered. I got a salad and the lettuce looked so wilted and disgusting. When I told the waitress, she didn’t care and still made me eat it and pay for it. The lettuce was brown and slimy. It was the worst salad. I only recommend this if you want to eat for over 2 hours and have terrible food.

Decent food average service and slightly high prices but it wonderful ambience. The Ambiance is definitely what keeps bringing us back. We will definitely return one day. Located conveniently in the Riverstone District. Favorite dishes include the Mediterranean sampler, bruchetta, sashimi salad, and fudge pecan pie.

Decent food and drinks. Service was not great, but no real issues. Advice: Avoid the Americanized Pho (they advertise it as such) though there are some interesting touches such as good beef, and a custom spicy sauce, the broth is sadly lacking which is the cornerstone of pho imo. The sweet potato fries and burgers were pretty good!

I expected the quality of the food to be better. My husband ordered the Turkey Club with a Ceasar Salad. The salad had none or very little dressing, nor grated cheese, we had to ask for some dressing. The waiter (who was very nice) had to bring him some so he could doctor his salad. Our waiter stated other patrons had said the same thing about the salad. The bread was torn which made it hard to eat the sandwich. The sandwich had no flavor at all, and was very dry. My Oriental Chicken salad looked like they used the butt pieces of the lettuce. We didn't say anything because the wait staff looked pretty busy. Now I know why it's been years since we've been here. We ate our food, but do not plan on returning.
