I haven’t seen this doctor BUT after speaking w/his office I immediately didn’t feel that I even wanted to make an appointment! Seems sadly that his goal is money & if you do have insurance the wait time to see him is 4 months! Don’t bother calling there are other docs out there with less wait time!

He is an excellent psychiatrist whom I have been relying on for regular medication management of my ADHD. He is a very good listener and pleasant. He is not necessarily complaisant at all time, but he is down to earth and will go out of his way when he has to to help someone who needs help.

Dr. Adams is one of the most down to earth, friendly, and professional Psychiatrists I have ever been to. I am so glad to have found a great doctor that actually asks how I am doing and wants to get to know me and help me. Another thing about him that I like is that my appointment is always on time and I am never sitting in the waiting room for hours!

He has become my regular emergency psychiatrist in the Flatiron district when my regular doctor goes out of town or is unavailable. Whether I'm faced with a medication adjustment issue or want to resolve a family crisis, I am never disappointed. He was recommended to me by another psychiatrist in Midtown Manhattan. I find him warm, talented, compassionate, and with good sense of humor. I would recommend him without any reservation!

I called the office several times and requested Dr. to call me for a 5 min emergency conversation but nobody did. Secretary told me she gave the Dr the number and he will call me. Very disappointed as I read good reviews here.

I've seen Dr. Adam for over 4 years now. In that time, I've found him to be consistently helpful, responsive and smart. He has a good understanding of his patients' needs and his gift is in letting you do the talking because he is a keen and engaged listener. I came to him after going to a very established and well-known doctor who had been in the field for 20 years. It was awful and he was rude and clearly not interested in exploring solutions that were realistic. My experience with Dr. Adam has been like night and day when compared to others in his field. It is a boutique service and they are set up in a way that makes the most sense for their business and the demands of having a NYC practice. But against all of that, he is a professional and I am very glad I've been with them.

Dr. Adam is awesome. He listens to you and has a great sense of style as a therapist. He pauses, empathizes, and redirects when the conversation sidetracks. He breaks it down for you so you understand. He's never snotty, rarely late, and takes every emotion into consideration. That doesn't necessarily mean that he will give you exactly what you want. He's a class act!

It was a relief to find a psychiatrist to see me late in the evening and prescribe me for my panic issues. During the visit, he was professional, attentive and thorough. A very professional service that I recommend to most of my friends. Now better than ever with nutritionists, and a dedicated psychotherapist (talk therapist) onsite. They accept my insurance for medication management, but I pay out-of-pocket for therapy sessions. It's really worth it, as my husband and coworkers have recently noticed!
