I have had several of the laser treatments available at Barr Facial Plastic Surgery. My favorite is the Legacy treatment which melts fat and tightens the skin. After several treatments, many of my friends and acquaintances asked me if I had lost weight. My face was noticeably thinner and smoother. The staff at Dr. Barr's is always professional, understanding and make the appointments a fun experience! Jannae Bird, Gwen, Susan and all of the staff that have helped me are knowledgeable and can make suggestions about what will help your particular situation. I went to Barr Aesthetics for laser hair reduction. There were any number of cheapo Groupon deals for laser scattered throughout SLC, but I decided to Barr because they gave off an air of professionalism that no other laser shack did. I was gender transitioning over the course of my appointments and they treated me with utmost respect, making it clear to me that the clinic is a safe space. I was sad when it came time for my last appointment, because I felt like I had really made some good friends there. As for the laser treatment itself? Perfect. Talking to friends who have done the same procedure at other places, I was smart to have chosen Barr. The results are better than I even expected. If I ever need anything else that they can do for me, you bet I'll be back in their office.

I had such a great experience at this place, Jae was completely amazing! Super informative about my options/what to expect. I had never been to a medical spa like this, but recently there has been a lot of talk about "preventative" botox. I told her I was nervous and wanted to look natural. She gave me super conservative injections, and then had me come back in two weeks. She then added one unit where I needed it to complete my look. Awesome job, great service, made me feel beautiful!

Having a Dr. that is improving or correcting features to the face differentiates her from the other Surgeons. The staff is awesome, friendly and accommodating. The staff is very friendly. After moving to Utah, I thought I found a great place due to all the great reviews. Unfortunately, I am still looking. I had injections done and my results only lasted about nine weeks, when they usually last 5 - 6 months. I went in for a follow-up, approximately two weeks after my initial visit, and my problem areas were still a problem. So, I had 10 more units injected, which was also 10 more units than I've ever received. They did discount the additional injections, but as I mentioned earlier, the results did not last. Extremely disappointing!

I've been going to Barr Aesthetics for a year. I was apprehensive before going, because I'm a 50 year old, regular neighbor across the street person. I thought this place would be for the barbies and over the top people where you say "stop with the face lifts and lip injections!" Boy, was I wrong. The moment I walked in I was welcomed and I noticed the clients were regular people. NO Kardashians here! Gwen was amazing during the consultation and addressed all my concerns with Laser hair treatments. Going here has changed my life. I see Susan for VBeam and laser hair removal. Her sense of humor has you laughing. She is a perfectionist---which Ii love. Dr. Barr is kind and well known for her conservative approach. You are in good hands. Get the yearly packages. The prices are very affordable! You'll walk out feeling like your better self!
