Let me just tell you something about Amanda. I first met Amanda the day of our wedding. I didn't know her. My wife didn't know her. She was our second wedding photographer who teamed up with our main photographer. I will tell you right now, she doesn't meet a stranger. Amanda had the pleasure of shooting photos of my groomsmen and me all day long before the wedding, as well as during and during the reception. After that night it was like we became best friends. She is easy to get along with and works well with your requests, and man does she capture the perfect shot at the right time! We loved Amanda's work so much we arranged family photos with her last October. Again, Amanda didn't let us down. When you have family members in from Chicago, us being in Indianapolis and our parents in the Cincinnati area, she did not hesitate to hop in her car to drive the distance to us. In October 2016, she did our maternity photos, and then our newborn session in January with our twin girls. She is perfect in every way, like Mary Poppins if you will. Most recently, she drove to Kokomo, Indiana to do a mini session for our family of four, as well as a complete extended family session for my wife's side of the family. We are also planning out the twins’ first birthday party and photo session with her now! Not only has my immediate family used Amanda's work, my cousin and her husband used Amanda for their daughter's senior pictures. They are absolutely 100% perfect! If you are looking for a photographer will go the distance for you, a photographer who you can trust and depend on, then look no further than Amanda Estep!

After learning my original photographer I had lined up for my baby's newborn photos couldn't do our shoot due to health reasons after my baby had arrived 10 days early, I was in a slight panic. I had a one week old baby and no photographer! I quickly Googled around and landed on Amanda's website and took a shot asking her if she could help. She responded to my inquiry immediately by calling me to let me know that she could fit me into her schedule in the next week to get my baby's photos done (she was SO nice and accommodating when we spoke!). I was already so happy with Amanda as she was willing to work within my budget on such short notice - my panic about finding a replacement had already subsided. I was also impressed by Amanda's online gallery so I was again excited about getting my baby's photos done. When we arrived at her studio, we were welcomed by Amanda herself coming out to our car to help us unload. She greeted us by showing us around her house and studio, and offering us coffee and snacks - such hospitality! We spent the next couple hours with Amanda working on the shoot. She had already prepared her studio with options for backgrounds and outfits for our baby based on our preferences that we had previously shared. She had so many adorable outfits and accessories to choose from! This really made my job easy as I didn't need to bring anything except my baby! We were really impressed by Amanda's level of professionalism, cleanliness, and safety when handling our baby. We never once felt nervous about the positions she was putting her in, Claire was truly in good hands! What impressed us most about Amanda was how much patience she had working with Claire - she would spend a bit of time trying to get Claire into a position and really paid attention to every small detail (getting even her tiny fingers looking right!). We knew watching Amanda work that the photographs we received would be beautiful, and we were absolutely right! All in all we were very impressed with Amanda's work and cannot thank her enough for coming to our rescue. We were initially a bit turned off by the length of the drive to her studio (GPS said a 40 minute trip), but it turned out to be WELL worth the trip! We will definitely be back to have Amanda do more of our family photos in the future!
