Kevin's Photography is wonderful. The people are so helpful and very friendly. Kevin was my photographer for my engagement pictures, and they turned out so beautifully. My fiance and myself wanted our Pembroke corgi in the pictures and he was so patient with the puppy. He really knows how to work with his clients to find unique and flattering poses. Kevin is so creative and willing to do anything it could possibly take to get some incredible pictures. All the photographers at Kevin's are so talented and passionate about what they are doing. Kevin will also be our photographer for our October wedding and I could not be more excited. I also had my little brother take his high school senior pictures at Kevin's. The pictures were awesome. My little brother can be really picky and he wanted prints of all his pictures. Whether senior pictures, wedding pictures, or any other type of pictures Kevin's photography will not disappoint. The pictures and staff are incredible. Thank you Kevin!

Best pet photographer and simply the best photographer in Albuquerque! We went to get a family portrait with our dog. We got great portraits! Our plan was to just get one portrait of the three of us, but he took the best picture we have ever had of the two of us in the 30 years we've been together so we had to get it! He really captured our dog's personality too. The portraits of him were so cute! We had already been to a very well known photography studio in town, but Kevin's portraits were on a whole other level. This is the place to go for amazing , beautiful portraits that capture your spirit. From now on, this is our photography studio of choice!

My wife and I were very exacting about our wedding having designed every little bit of the experience ourselves, so when we were hunting for photographers, we were certain to ask questions and make demands, and despite this demanding nature, Kevin, Trisha, and our wedding-day photographer Chris were accommodating, professional, and nice. We received personal attention throughout the process and were allowed to have all the input we wanted. From the stunning personal engagement session to the flawlessly executed wedding day to the expert composition of the wedding album with Trisha's personal touch throughout, the experience was stellar. What is nearly unbelievable is that this also came at such a fair price; having had to budget the entire endeavor ourselves, we couldn't buy the top-end package, but this didn't stop everyone at Kevin's from giving us extremely attentive service. Coming from two very detail-oriented people, that really means something.

Kevin's photography is a wonderful place to go for professional pictures. I hired them for my wedding and was assigned Robert. he took over 1,000 pictures in the 8 hours that I was contracted. All the pictures came out so beautiful it was hard to choose the ones we wanted to use for our wedding book that also came in my contract. Robert was amazing that day he was very open to ideas and really listened to what type if pictures that I wanted to take. He was on time and knew that a schedule on a wedding day is important. He was really good at keeping in task and on time but he also went with the flow really well. I also had my engagement pictures threw them as well and they came out absolutely stunning. I would 100% work with them again in the future.

She took control but I didn't fee like she was overstepping or taking undue time away from the reception at all. Our photos are so amazing but the prices are great as well. I went to more wedding expos then I could count.But Kevin's always had such a beautiful display & friendly staff to talk to and answer all my questions. The pictures were always so beautiful.I had gotten them mixed up with another photographer at first but I knew I was going to find them at another expo and low and behold I found the beautiful turquoise display book. I booked a free engagement session with them to feel them out. It was a beautiful fall afternoon in the bosque. I absolute loved the way those came out!!!! When we decided to book them for the wedding I was so happy that April was going to spend the day with us. She had helped us pick out photos for our engagement and it was great help as I was already overwhelmed by the options. She had such a calm demeanor to her that when I had showen up late she was calm and walked me through what to do, and then wisked off to go take pictures of the guys. She was so lovely to be around all day and really had an eye to make the picture so beautiful. Every place we took pictures at was so lovely I have a hard time still picking out my favorite pictures.She made sure to capture all the important things that were happening including the La Marcha at the end. The best vendor at my wedding was her as our photographer. She was kind and really helped the day have a flow to it. It was so wonderful having her be apart of our day! I looked into several different photographers at what seems like every bridal fair held in Albuquerque and something kept drawing me back to Kevins. We decided to go with Kevin's and we were not disappointed! Chris was our photographer during the wedding and he was perfect! He was patient, creative, kept everyone calm and had everything organized. The entire staff at Kevins is wonderful as well! They are always able to help you with any questions you have and you never feel like you are bothering anyone. No matter when you call or who you are speaking with, they have the information you need. I never once needed to call back to speak to someone who would know more or was handling our wedding specifically. We have been to several other weddings and the photographers always seem to get in the way or not be prepared. That was not the case with Kevin's and we have received many compliments from our wedding guests in regards to both our photos and the presence of the photographers at our wedding. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone wanting amazing wedding photos to go with Kevin's. He is worth every penny and in the end, I think we got a bargain for the memories we get to take away thanks to Chris and Kevin's photography! If you have any doubts at all, put them aside and go with Kevin's... you will not regret it! I would also recommend the photo booth! That was a much better sign in book than the traditional autograph frames or books. The graffi albums are wonderful and worth the money as well.

I wouldn't recommend Kevin's Photography to anyone. I say this because our photographer that took our girls family pictures really did a horrible job we only had 2 OK pictures out of a 100+ photos. Plus they were not very understanding about a family emergency we had to attend to. They were scheduled to do our wedding photos. We paid for the package that was agreed on and they kept all my money and Did NOT show up to our wedding.i was very dissapointed at Kevin's photography.

I was at a wedding this week where Kevin Dooley and his assistant Eric Martinez were professional and polite. They were not only experts in their craft, but had a great attitude about everything. The photos he took were fantastic. I wish I had him and his team for my wedding. Kevin did everything he could to get the best photo in include laying in the freezing snow. Kevin and his staff at Kevin’s photography from start to finish were amazing. I just picked up my wedding album, he captured the day in photos perfectly, just as I remembered it, Perfect. Our engagement session was at the bosque near his home and at his home. He was able to capture us as we are, especially my now husband. Mark’s baby, his car even made it into the photo shoot. We gave some to our families and they love them. Best idea for gifts to parents on wedding day. My bouidor session with April was amazing. I went in very anxious as I had never done anything like it before. She made me so comfortable, that before I knew it I had to leave for work. Probably good thing, as the pictures were amazing and beautiful and difficult to choose. My husband was so surprised on our wedding night; he loves the album and calendar. A few days before the wedding we were able to get together a good number of my family for family pictures. We started at the UNM Duck Pond before a storm moved in and changed the lighting and began to rain. Kevin and his assistant were able to get in the group pictures as they work very quickly. We then relocated to his small studio, where we were made to feel at home as we all crowded in. His wife made fresh baked cookies, hot chocolate and coffee while all the family units were photographed. We were there long after business hours, and you would have never known. My wedding day was perfect. Kevin recommended that we start about an hour and half before the ceremony with bridal party and immediate family pictures so we could maximize the time with our guests. His timing is so perfect that we were able to even get in some sunset photos before the dancing began. He and his assistant were punctual, dressed well and so very patient with all the “extra” photographers there. I would and will use them again to photograph any event in our lives.

My fiance and I attended the Bridal Show at Buffalo Thunder last month and were subsequently contacted by Kevin's under the guise that we had won a free engagement shoot. I know these things are to get you in for a consultation and potentially book the photographer, which is fine, we need a wedding photographer and were promised a special discount for attending the bridal show. Fast forward to today- my fiance's Birthday- and I am in a rush to get everything done so that we can actually spend some time together, we let them know that it is her birthday just to make sure we have all of our bases covered. Well as we go to sit down, I hear who I know to be Kevin at this point tell the photographer we are working with "that if we book today, we'll get the special that ended in Feb." which is yesterday for the record. Anyways, I thought that was strange considering we were told we got special pricing for attending that event and providing our contact information etc. but at this point, whatever, let's get going. We immediately launch into their portfolio and pricing and I honestly thought, thank God, they get it, I don't want to pussyfoot around, let's get this done. We let the photographer go through her presentation, which admittedly is just letting us leaf through Bridal Albums that they dolled up to look, as she put it, "artsy". Finally we get down to the nitty gritty, where is our discount we were told about, what is this about a free engagement shoot and could you explain why even with a discount, you are similarly priced to other photographers we have looked at who aren't giving us a special Bridal Show discount. Well it turns out that the free engagement shoot is just the photographers time and we will need to pay for what we want, which is not really a bad deal. They explained it allowed us to test their work before we purchased from them, which is actually a cool plus. But when I asked about price, and the Bridal Show discount I couldn't get a straight answer, we were just getting the same discount everyone got in February, which is fine, but don't tell me it's a "Special Discount". I told the photographer, look, I'm in sales too. A sales manager in fact! You don't need to BS me with gimmiky stuff, we can just get straight to it so that we can make our decision and finally spend some birthday time together! Well at this point Kevin began yelling across from his workstation about how he knew EVERYONE in towns prices and we DID NOT see similar prices ANYWHERE. Forgetting I guess that we live in Santa Fe, but I doubt he knows everyone in ABQ's pricing anyways, unless he sends spies in to have consultations with them haha. But he's yelling, telling us we have a free engagement shoot and we can use it or not. I attempt to explain that I am just trying to get an actual price, based on the photographers recommendation for time, package level etc. But he just yells over me, so I finally snap back that I'm not going to be spoken to that way by someone I may be employing. We get up and leave, but I know I can be overly direct sometimes, and kind of feel bad so I return in to try again and explain what I am trying to accomplish and that I wasn't trying to be rude, but I have little patience for BS. Especially today, but he just starts yelling again, so I finally tell him it has been a very negative experience, and he can expect a review to reflect that. His response? First I'm told by an employee that it's slander, which- it's not- and then, really ironically he says that if I leave a negative review for him, he would leave a negative review at my employer. Which is, in fact, slander. It's hilarious really, especially considering his "brother cancer" posts about people's livelihood! Anyways, I pointed out that he didn't know where I worked and that he was the most unprofessional business owner I'd ever met. I'll still sell you a car though Kevin, because I can remain professional and answer questions that you have without losing my mind. You may learn a thing or two! TL;DR: STAY AWAY, NUT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!

I hadn't gotten the chance to do any research but picked Kevin's Photography due to the great packages they offered. When people asked who was doing our photography and I told them we had hired Kevin's Photography they all said that Kevin's was really good. They lived up to the reputation!! We had a great wedding photo shoot with April who managed to create some amazing shots with the limited environment we had for the wedding. Everyone is raving about them.
