Love this pharmacy. Always so helpful, friendly and great prices. I left my phone there one day by mistake and a lady that works there came to my house to give it back to me. Incredible!

When my old pharmacy (Ansonia) went out of business and I was looking for a local, not commercial pharmacy like CVS, Rite Aide, ect.. I walked into Kings Pharmacy on 7th Avenue and immediately was impressed by its cleanliness, order in which the products were displayed and Robert, who I believe is the store manager. Although I didn't purchase anything on that visit I felt as comfortable in this pharmacy as I did in my old one. The next time I walked in I was greeted by my name ( it was only the second time I was in the store) and had some prescriptions filled. One for a cough medicine which my doctor faxed over. Some how the fax was never received and Edward, another pharmacist who works there went out of his way to call my doctor, get a duplicate prescription and fill it. My wife and I try to support our local stores and this is our new pharmacy. The pharmacists, Robert, Edward and the rest of the staff go out of their way to help you, are friendly and extremely professional. My wife and I are glad we found this pharmacy and will continue to use them. Try them you'll like them. Alan H.

I had some complaints that were becoming very serious; mostly with my cardiologists failures, and the hospital in my neighborhood- Methodist Hospital's ongoing non-responsiveness. Fortunately your Kings pharmacy was available to me both professionally and caringly so. The pharmacist was summoned by her associate a Mr. Rob, who despite having extra persons and helping them at the time saw my distraught persona and helped me immensely. Both talking and calming me down telling me not to worry saying, "they will help me." Then went above board to get the pharmacist-a Ms Lauren- who corrected my medicine and a wrong dosage by telling me I need to speak to the cardiologist and point out his error, which i did and he corrected it, exactly as this Ms. Lauren advised me. All the time Mr. Rob- was advising me to not worry and taking my blood pressure saying you'll be fine stop making yourself crazy with worry very calming thank you so very much! Thank heavens for both of them and for this Kings pharmacy branch. They deserve more accolades them i can write here. I owe a great service to Kings and their professionalism, a great helpful very professional pharmacy, wish more were like Kings. Bennett A. Cohen

I can't recommend this beautiful pharmacy enough! I walked in with a complicated and time-sensitive issue (which the big box pharmacy down the street was unable to handle) and Lauren, the pharmacist, moved heaven and earth to order the medication. Best customer service I have ever seen.

I spoke with folks 3 different times regarding a prescription and all 3 provided incorrect information: (1) My Rx had to be ordered and would be in the following day (no problem). I call the following day before going and a woman tells me it’s on back-order but can be ordered from another distributor and will arrive 1 day later (ok). (2) This lady also told me the main location (on Flatbush) did not have this Rx in stock (i asked her to check, since it was Friday and my doctor could have called it in over there). (3) Finally, on day 3, I call to confirm the medication has arrived - it has - I confirm their hours (they told be they close at 5:45pm not 6pm on Saturdays, as listed on google). I arrived at 5:10pm and the location is closed, with the gates down. One thing to keep in mind for #3 - it took me 90 minutes to get there and 90 minutes to get home from a location that decided to close early for no apparent reason after the pharmacist told me the closing time... I called the main Flatbush location where a guy was super kind and apologetic - he confirmed the 7th ave location should be open until 6pm - that his Flatbush location did, in fact, have my medication in stock (re: #2 above) but couldn’t help me fill it because it’s a controlled substance - my doctor would need to call it into his location (which could have been done day 1 or day 2 of me dealing with people at this 7th ave location - but my doctor is closed on Saturdays). This was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with a pharmacy. Not a single person was able to give me consistent or remotely correct information. If you need something from King’s - go to their main Flatbush location - they have absolutely everything and there’s none of this nonsense.

I would like to take this opportunity to share my experience with Kings Pharmacy. I was released from the hospital on 7th Ave. Feeling confident I was well enough to go it alone. I had only to go to the subway and fax some papers to my insurance company. Out the door I went with bags in hand assuring all I was fine. Well 2 blocks into my task I approached Kings Pharmacy hoping to fax my papers. I suddenly felt shaky. The manager Robert observed this and directed his immediate attention to me. He talked with me offered water and gave me a seat. He took care of my insurance papers. He made sure I was on track. I felt much better after our chat and knowing my papers were in the appropriate place. Roberts kindness on that somewhat tiring and confusing day will never be forgotten by this satisfied customer.
