DESCRIPTION

Here you will be able to see all the reviews of people who use the products and services of Lloyd\'s Pharmacy (Pharmacy) in the area close to the state of Minnesota.

As of day this firm has a rating of 4.0 stars out of 5 and this rating has been based on 38 reviews.

You must have seen that its rating is high, and it is based on a high number of feddbacks, so we can conclude that the evaluation is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to leave their feddback when they've done well with the service, is that it works.

As you know, we don't usually stop to put feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...

This Pharmacy is classified in the category of Pharmacy.

Had to use this place as an emergency pharmacy for some insulin (type 1 diabetic) since I was away from home. They charged me 11X what I'm supposed to pay, and had the audacity to give me only 1/2 of my prescription. I contacted my regular pharmacist and they said that is not right; however, nothing can be done because they are privately owned.

Really shaming older male clerk working in the evening told me I was doing it wrong when I tried to call in a prescription, then put me on hold for such a long time, when he previously told me that pharmacy techs were free. Called to talk to a manager during the day, told I could call back when it was convenient for them as manager was unavailable. Terrific customer service.

Really nice service. The pharmacists and check-out staff are always patient with my questions and concerns. They are always willing to go the extra mile for us. Thank you!

Really appreciate their service for compounded meds. Very quick, and they mail the meds to me as I live an hour away. Super happy with their service!

I love this place. Lloyd's is the place to go if you value personal service, people's names, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. If you prefer a place that sells popcorn and soda, make-up, has a drive through window, and no one knows your name (or gives you theirs) then this is not the place for you.

I tried to stay with this place because it is a ma and pa shop, but their general incompetence and poor service was, after six months, no longer bearable... or worth the struggle.

I have used this compounding pharmacy for years. They are extremely professional, helpful and friendly. Good pharmacists are such an important part of one's overall health team. I feel perfectly comfortable calling or going in with a question. These are really caring professionals.

It’s heartbreaking when a local business offers poor service. I want to keep my dollars local and I also like the convenience of shopping locally and not at a chain, but my recent customer service experience has me calling around for any place else. I take a specialty drug for pain management (not medical marijuana) and when I lost it after taking my daughter camping, I called to get more. The pharmacist I finally talked to scolded me for losing my medication and told me I didn’t do enough work to find it. Wow. That’s crazy. When I called her on her misplaced priorities (shouldn’t she be worried about how much pain I’m in and how to safely and legally get me more needed medicine?) she gave the worst non-apology ever - “I’m sorry you have those feelings... but...” Sigh. I shared my disappointment with her, and she just doesn’t care. Thank goodness she’s not a veterinarian. Can you picture this woman’s response if your dog got hit by a car? “Well, you should have been watching him better. Now someone has to clean up the road. But dogs die anyway.” Shudder. The lack of professionalism, lack of patient care, non-apology and ego on this woman just make me sick. Pretty ironic that the thought of going to this pharmacy or giving them any more of my money makes me want to throw up, amirite?

Having moved I am forced to change pharmacies and very very sad about it. I’ve used Lloyds pharmacy since I moved to Saint Paul in 2005. All their staff especially Jim and Tracy have been nothing but the best pharmacists I have ever experienced. Every one of the staff are always welcoming & friendly. They have watched out for me taking new medications and given me all the warnings of any concerns of meds or foods that might not go well together. I will seriously miss them all. Although they are busier than ever, not once have they failed to offer the same caring & friendly service.

Health places that don't offer healthy things. Like bathrooms to six year olds. I can not tell you how many places have let a kid use their employee only bathroom because. ...it's a kid! This was the first I have ever encountered.

Best pharmacy in the Twin Cities. It is so refreshing to give my business to an old fashioned "mom and pop" pharmacy / business. The techs, pharmacists and clerks treat you like a valued customer, not just a number like the big pharmacies (think CVS, Walgreens, etc.) do....So happy they're in the neighborhood and operate in the friendly and professional manner that they do!

Honra was so kind and helpful today. My vet sent a prescription for a pain killer for my cat this morning- a Saturday. Lloyd’s does not usually do compounds on Saturdays but Honra “broke the rules” so that my kitty does not have to wait until Monday to receive some relief from her pain.

Walked in for a consultation. Waited at their consult window, which you cannot be seen at unless someone is particularly looking for. No one came. Went to their checkout window, waited in line for my turn, asked for a consult, told cashier I will be waiting at the consult window. Saw pharmacist see I was not at the cashier window he then answered the phone. After he hung up with one call he then took another call. I left and headed foe Walgreens.

I use Lloyd’s when I need a compounding pharmacists. Over the past year, I’ve had a couple of prescriptions made by them. There were no problems…until today. Back in July, I got an ointment mixed by them. It was fine, but I made the mistake of not keeping it cold for a couple of days and it turned brown and the solids separated from the liquids in the mixture. I returned to Lloyd’s and explained that I had improperly stored it and if they could remake it for me at my full cost. They agreed and I picked on the new mixture it was brown when I got it home and opened it. I, again, returned to Lloyd’s to return the whole prescription. My thinking was that either the pharmacist does not know how to make it or that combination of drugs just doesn’t belong together—it not a feasible prescription to start. I wanted to get my money back for the second bottle as I was going to ask my doctor to prescribe a totally medication that is different from the current one. That’s when things turned bad. The pharmacist, in so many words, accused me of trying to cheat them out of medication. When I told him I just picked up the new bottle only to find that it was brown, I needed to return it. He took the bottle that I brought in. the contents were grainy and the liquid had separated. It was a full bottle. He then returns with he claimed was the one I just brought in. It wasn’t. It was dated 7/08/2015—the first mixture. The consistency was creamy and half of the medication was gone. The pharmacist starting asking me what happened to the rest of it. Being that I used a lot from the first bottle and that bottle he was questioning me on was half gone and dated 7/08, I think he switched the bottles since I picked up the one I returned was dated 08/20/2015 and it was a different consistency, full, and cold. In the end, I felt forced to get him to make another mixture of the medication. I do not think he knows how to do it and so what I really wanted was to get a refund for the second bottle and like I said, discuss with my doctor, an alternative medicine. In sum, the pharmacist accused me of trying to steal and I think that is the most offensive part of the whole situation. Since I was accused of being a thief, I regret not coming out and telling the pharmacist the real reason why I wanted my money back--his inability to do the job right. My thinking was that they were nice to me and I didn't want to be rude since I would likely still use them for other prescriptions, just not the one in question. My earlier experiences with Lloyd’s were wonderful, but something changed. I will not return there and despite the fact that I recommended them to friends, I will not do so any longer. Mom-and-Pop shops are great for the community, but the downside is that they can treat you any way they please and there is nowhere to complain or fight back. I’m sticking with chain stores. They are more trustworthy.
