The line gets a little long at times but that isn't their fault they do a wonder job of quick and accurate service. Alex is the best! Mind you alot of the staff know their customers by name but Alex really fights for me when issues arise with my insurance. If it wast for Alex I would not have my life saving insulin today. There's a pharmacist o think his name is Robert that spent 2 hours away from his job just to get me the insulin I TRULY need. I'd never go anywhere else. I hate they are closed on the weekends but I'll wait til Monday to gett meds lol

I'm a employee at UMC and on a few occasions my prescriptions was either sent over from my doctor's office at UMC or called in by me. My perceptions was never ready for pick up after waiting severals hours. When placing a refill order via phone on a Tuesday and went to pick it up on a Thursday, it had not been refilled and they had no records showing that I had called. The cashier asked me did I want to wait for them to refill it. I told her that I had waited two day for them to have this refilled and I did not have time to wait today. I told the cashier that I will have it refilled at another Walgreens. On another occasion I dropped off a percripton to be filled on a Monday went back to pick up on a two days later and to no avail it was not ready, so I decided to wait for this one only because I need it asap. Side note: There is always a long line with two cashier/pharmacy techs.

Friendly staff conveniently located on the first floor of the building long wait times in the morning so be prepared to wait or come back to pick up meds.

I’m an employee at umc. Took my med to be transferred yesterday. Came back today. NOT EVEN IN THE COMPUTER. Had to call pharmacy in Mississippi because couldn’t even find bottle I left. Then I had to wait 40 minutes and had to go back up to desk to get it moving. This will be the last time I use them. Was trying to save time by not having to go to pharmacy in Mississippi when off of work! I’ll pay the extra money. AGGRAVATED!

Ok just read the latest BAD reviews. I was there one time and they were able to find my medicade. At other Wallgreens they kept asking about addresses I had in the past. I have lived in New Orleans scine '06. I have no idea of every address I ever had! This Walgreens found it! I had a very bad spider bite! The cost was over $100 without my insurance. Paid for it with pocket change with the help of this pharmacy! Wait time? Yeah you are going to wait. You are going to wait everywhere! But I guarantee they will have it! I hate waiting time is MONEY ! Damn Dr. thought I had nothing better to do! I told him I guarantee I make more money than you. Showed him! But if you go to this Wallgreens you will get what you need!
