Customer service in the pharmacy very bad, before was great, but I had a problem with one of the employees before call Jose very rude I spoke with the manager very nice lady and now their is a employee call Francis I think that is the way you spell his name and several times he talks to me in a way that I don't appreciate, does two guys but mostly Jose they think they can treat people the way they want, but I appreciate JOSH a pharmacy tech very nice guy with a great customer service this two guys should learn from JOSH how to treat the customers, if things keep going bad I would transfer my husband prescriptions after many years using Costco pharmacy just because of this two pharmacy tech, thank you and have a wonderful day.I hope you guys can show them my review so they can learn how to treat they customers better.

This Pharmacy is a joke ! On hold for 30 min. Staff is rude . I guess Costco makes enough money on the sales floor. Who cares about the healthcare. I just think its this location.

I find them sufficiently reliable. Some complain about how poorly they deal with insurance; but they sell the medication I need so cheap that I don't need to submit it to insurance at all.

I love shopping at Costco. However, my experience with the pharmacy is a whole different experience. Costco is on my Mom’s new pharmacy plan, and I was excited to switch thinking my same experience shopping in the store would comply with the pharmacy. Anything but the case. Every time I have had to pick up a prescription for my Mom, there was a problem or it wasn’t ready. They have no empathy and are cold when it comes to their interactions. In the past, I have been used to pharmacists who were kind, knowledgeable, empathetic, and cared to know me by name. I miss those days, and am saddened that my experience with the Visalia pharmacy has been far less than I had anticipated.

If you take a controlled medication, watch out. They are absolutely judging you and will treat you like you’re a drug addict trying to pull a fast one on them. Have had several unpleasant experiences here, particularly with the manager, and the last time, I was so humiliated I left in tears. Not everyone needing a script filled is a junkie, people!! There’s a way to conduct business and some of these folks have no idea how to do that.

Am a senior citizen, which has more meds than seem possible. Cannot believe the service I receive at this pharmacy....the pharmacists are truly patient & concerned, always makes your day. The staff is likewise, have lived globally & cannot believe thier sevice!!! Thank You, Cosco!!!,

Pharmacy Staff is horrible!! I attempted to begin to transfer all my prescriptions over to Costco Pharmacy after I was informed by a friend that their prescriptions are much cheaper than other pharmacies but was made to feel like a criminal because of what my medications are instead. They were able to call my doctor and verify my condition, my medications, how long I've been a patient, whatever information they needed. Still I was told they would not fill my prescriptions because they've not consistently filled my prescriptions prior (DUH I'M TRANSFERRING MY PRESCRIPTIONS OVER TODAY AS MENTIONED WHEN DROPPED OFF) and my reasons (chronic pain caused by an underlying condition) for receiving my PAIN medications were not valid. My very real medical CONDITIONS diagnosed by a licensed doctor weren't valid reasons for them to fill my legal prescriptions prescribed to me by a licensed medical doctor. They are a joke. I will never attempt to use Costco pharmacy again. I would much rather pay the extra money for my prescriptions where I am treated with humility, dignity and respect. I have never been treated that way by any other pharmacy in my life, because it wasn't just that they'd denied filling my prescriptions, it was the way they treated me from start to finish. The way the insinuated that I don't suffer from a legitimate condition or I am in some way abusing my medication. It's a shame that people are discriminated against based on the way they look (I look very young) and the medication they are prescribed. There was no basis for them to deny my prescriptions other than the attending personnel had decided the minute I handed her my prescriptions that she was not going to fill them. She was very short in verse and condescending while taking my information. When I came to pick my prescription slips back up after they informed me they wouldn't fill them, she immediately walked over and whispered to one of the pharmacists, who in turn made a point to see who I was. Grow up, you're supposed to be professionals! On top of that they didn’t ask for ID before handing me back my NARCOTIC prescriptions.

I do appreciate the lower price that I pay at Costco pharmacy for my pet's medication. My main complaint is the lack of adequate staff during peak hours such as around lunchtime, early evening and weekend. I try to avoid these times if at all possible because there is no way I'm going to get in & out of the pharmacy in under 45 minutes... and that is when the prescription is ready to pick up. If it is not called in the day before then you're better off going somewhere else. Especially if you're like me and have difficulty standing or sitting for more than 30 minutes or so.

When you call to check hours, the recording tells you to allow 20 minutes for your prescription to be filled. DON'T COUNT ON IT. I almost always have to wait an hour.

I've been using them for a while, and haven't ever had a problem. Nice people. If you drop off a prescription, be prepared to wander around the store for a while.

This pharmacy does not care about proper supply of medications. When I need supplies or the correct dosage/strength, I am offered sub-statues and excuses.I have made five trips to this location. Now I am fed up and finished. I would never recommend this pharmacy to anyone.

I have been to pharmacy's and some are ok some are good and the some are very bad. Costco pharmacy is very bad when it comes to serving the public. The lines for those waiting to get their medicine is ridiculous. Sometimes you have maybe two people to help while the rest is on break. Whoever the manager is should be ashamed to make people wait that long in line. Apparently he does not know how to manage this department or his people. None of the other Costco's are this bad. Come on get it together.

If I could rate them zero I would. They have horrible phone services, will never call when RX ready. You get there and unfortunately they can’t figure out any sort of insurance billing. It takes over an hour and on a separate trip it took 1 hour 20 min. Insurance company says Costco was simply entering codes incorrectly and had no explanation why it would be difficult.

I don't recommend going through the Costco Pharmacy at all. They will just give you a big run around on your precipitation(s) that need to be filled & they don't fill all medications so you'd have to have your precipitation(s) transferred but once you try to get a transfer they say they don't have anything on file for you & then they'll give you this nonsense about how if you wouldn't buy a bottle of the medication(s) from the store it self then they shred up your file, leaving you stuck to pay for another doctor's visit to have them resend your precipitation(s) else where. "WHY SHOULD I PAY FULL PRICE ON MEDICATION THAT WAS PRESCRIBED TO ME & MY INSURANCE HELPS COVER?!" I don't see the point on Costco even having a Pharmacy since there the only Pharmacy that doesn't fill all precipitation(s) & to top it off the pharmacist lies about medication not having any side effects. (I've had 5 complications with the antibiotic that I was prescribed & they were all side effect related "noted by both the emergency doctor, as well as my primary doctor"!!!)

On 5/2/18 I had a prescription filled for a quantity of 90 only to discover the next morning 30 inside the bottle. The label correctly said qty of 90. When the pharmacist counseled me on the meds she looked inside the bottle and said to me quantity of 90. Incompetent and zero quality control. No excuse.
