Really neat place love it
Great place to go walking and get some fresh air.
Fantastic place fantastic people
Beautiful park, sweet looking Elk!!!!
Beautiful
Stopped in to the visitors center and got 15 minutes of great in olive, information and maps from the incredibly helpful Kendra one of the park ranger. She was so helpful I couldn't thank her enough. I was driving through in my RV and was able to dump my tanks and get some fresh water all they ask us a small donation. Clean bathrooms and very cool center with several stuffed animals and info.. Even got a 50 cent cup of coffee " donation"... Thanks again for a great way to be welcomed to your great state of Wyoming
Nice picnic areas and restrooms, Bison and Elk!
Excellent rest room facilities. The visitor center is a small natural history museum, with dozens of taxidermied native Wyoming animals. There is everything from big game to raptors, rodents, and riparian species.
Bathrooms were dirty, but the view here was amazing. Nice place to stop and take a break.
The best ever rest area! Amazing mounts and knowledgeable and friendly staff. Sure worth stopping in to see!
Don't miss the Bison and Elk in the pastures. Don't be surprised if you see a moose on a hike along the river. Great bird watching in this well trailed riparian area. Look for many other wild animals in this hidden gem. The visitors center also has excellent displays.
Always stop here when in Evanston Very well kept, and the critters are amazing. Take plenty of pictures.
Nice bathrooms, good stop. Just please don't walk up to the fence when the Bison are there. That fence won't stop one. Enjoy them from afar.
So handy for RV dumping and the buffalo are a real treat
It's an ok place to stop since it's right off the freeway and want to see some bison up close, but other than that there is little to see or do.
So, so beautiful.
Great place all year round for outdoor activities, especially with your dog.
Stopped overnight in Evanston - this little park was a great place to walk my dog & stretch our legs! We saw a lot of different birds, a moose, and the captive bison.
Very nice walking paths, clean bathrooms, a nice playground for the kids, several picnic tables. There was also an area where we saw buffalo! Pretty cool to see!
Beautiful and relaxing.
Great place for a family outing
The Bison here are fun to watch. It's a great stop when you are traveling.
Great quick hike along the river.
Cool little park right in the city of Evanston WY. Great hiking/walking trails, picnic areas, elk and bison!

It was very nice the best one we have been too. The workers where not friendly at all. They stayed in there office discuss nonsemse They did not want to be bothered I want there job and get paid The bathroom could be cleaner Use some bleach to the floor.
No stars cuz u guys dont allow a semi in the parking lot.. Hw rude.....
Noceand clean.
Nice place to see elk and bison up close.
Great little park, great little walking trail huge elk and buffalo
Wonderful place to go walking, hiking, running and biking. I love the new trails in the back area. Only part is I wish people would clean up after the dogs. I know it isn't the people who clean the state parks job to do it. So for all those people who are being gross about it just clean up after your dogs they even give you bags.
Nice little paved pathway to stop at for a while if driving through
Wi-Fi and clean bathrooms.
Nice & clean
Nice break from A long drive. Clean bathrooms are nice.
This park is a wonderful rest stop for anyone traveling on I-80. We always stop whether we need to or not. The rest rooms are clean. There is a play area for the children, paths to walk and interesting info about the area.
Great first time visiting this spot. Very chilly winds, but it's a great place to stop going past Evanston!
I love this park/rest stop. Good place to have a sandwich or stretch the legs before the next long stretch of Wyoming road. Sometimes you can see the buffalo in the field next to the visitors center. I appreciate the outside dog runs. Pick up burgers in Evanston and enjoy a picnic here!
Nice place to stop and see some wildlife. Just watch out if you get close to the fences. Prarie dog holes can hide.
Beautiful little park. Always has amazing elk
Good place to go to the restroom before a long drive.
Nice museum.
Love this beautiful place.
Great for picnic or walk.
Very good visitors center
Nice place to visit with family and friends.
Very cool, we saw elk, bison, and antelope. Then we saw a moose on the way out just outside the park. Really amazing :)
Beautiful park
I love this place!
Great place to escape the suffocating chaos of the overly crowded downtown.. the walking trails and bbq pits provide great birthday memories for all my kids.. closest thing to the mountains we have
Great place for everyone, including children and dogs (on leash). Love this place and highly recommend!
Not near what we had expected and as we were 15 foot from the door when the woman working shut the lights off and locked the door on us. Didn't see hours on the door but it was 445 when she locked up
Beautiful place!!! Nice place to talk a walk or have a picnic!
I take my dog there every weekend. Last weekend we saw a BIG raccoon on the trail when we came around the path. Of course the picture is one of many Perrier dog's that live there.
Great little stop while passing through. Good opportunity to walk the pups, stretch your legs, enjoy nature and get a little education. Play areas for the kiddos, plenty of picnic spaces, nature trails, small museum and more!
Clean quiet rest area and tourist information center with American Bison and Elk
Wonderful park! Lots of hiking and biking trails along the river! Bison and elk on the park year round!
Great get away. Nice place to walk around and enjoy the time with the family. Play in the water and have a nice lunch.
I meet hear to frequently. While waiting, enjoy watching the wildlife.
Great rest stop stopping place if your heading east on the interstate. Also looks like it's well kept, even in the winter.
Great views and very convenient stop to use as a rest stop and stretch your legs.
Love the state park! We walked the pathway and saw some wildlife. Here are some pics for you.
Clean, inviting. Grateful for the immenities.
This is a spot worth stopping for has a wonderful display of animals with the taxidermy being outstanding.
Very nice place to have a picnic, through the fishing pole in, take a walk and look at the animals (Elk, Bison, Turkeys) and more. Very Clean restrooms.
Seen antelope, moose, badgers, pronghorn , buffalo.
Quick pit stop for us, and we enjoyed looking at everything in the welcome area. It was cool that there were animals to look at without having to venture too far from the parking lot.
Nice people.
Great little hide-away for some paved and unpacked nature trails.
We stopped here to stretch our legs during a long roadtrip. Convenient to the highway and a really beautiful place.
Closed because of snow storm
Beautiful!
Good place to visit and see some cool animals.
Clean and nice
Tons of wildlife and plenty of raptors too!!
Easy on and off, next to a Pilot gas, and a gorgeous fun place to camp...or to just stop at the adjecent Rest Area. Clean and well lit, no overnite camping but there's a dump station, free. Two little penned areas for pets, and a big field for dogs if yours is off leash. AND....if you are the trucker, who bought a meal and a coffee for the older guy with a sign asking for a ride, then THANK YOU! You are the kind of person who reminds me just how good we all should be! I will do it for the next guy, and hope it passes along!
Free, well maintained, very helpful guidance at the info center. Thanks!
Love to take my kids there
Great stop off route 80. Opens at 8 am. Great spot to stretch your legs and eat your lunch/breakfast Once you arrive go past the bathrooms and park in the next lot. There you will find a trail that crosses the creek and opens up to several more gravel easy walking trails.
Pretty boring but a good rest stop.
Good place to go running or take your favorite 4 legged friends for a walk.
Clean and family friendly park. Was made to be able to do a wide variety of things, e.g., walking, biking, picnicking, fishing, animal watching, etc. Great park.
Beautiful, wildlife is awesome.
Beautiful picnic areas and a playground for the kids
A lovely spot to drive slow and see the wildlife, such as bison and Elk.
This is a great place for walking and forgetting about the city all around you. Convenient location and Bison, Deer and Moose are available for viewing on occasion. If you are not familiar with wildlife, keep your distance! Moose can be very dangerous!
Now I know the difference between a bison and buffalo.
just passed thru but was nice views
Great place for a walk or family time.
Stop you won't be disappointed
My family always stops there when driving through Wyoming it's a great place to stretch your legs and see some animals that arent usually so easy to find.
Real bison, super easy on and off the interstate!
Stopped at the rest area because of the dump station and came across this! So exciting!
Meh kind of a place

We had our family reunion here and it was very nice, clean, flushing toilets, and nice shade.
Cool to see bison roamin Wyomin.
Two thumbs up
Beautiful spot. Bike trails are very well kept. We even saw a moose about 25 feet from us. The gift shop is really neat too.
Great for mountain biking (especially horny toad trail), walking and tubing (late June)
Peaceful. I saw a bald eagle, elk and bison.
Friendly park workers. Rested here during a road trip. No hassles.
Fun to walk around and see the animals and the visitor center. Plenty of walking trail, good picnic areas.
Great place to relax and unwind from your drive. Picnic tables, the Bear River, a couple of Elk and a small herd of Bison. Awesome.
Terrific state park with great opportunities to see wildlife, including deer, elk, moose, other mammals, and lots of birds. Lots of trails to explore along the Bear River. Picnic sites and a playground.
Great place for a bbq. They keep it pretty clean.
Great place to stop for a rest stop. Bison are generally here to see up close (in a field behind a fence) but weren't here today.
Geo cache heaven, before you leave wyoming. Check this gem of the Rockies out
Really nice park and museum. Great displays and live bison roam around the buildings.
Loved it! And they have hi speed wifi.
Beautiful and historic, with free range bison. Definite plus is RV dump station, donation requested.
Great place to stop and stretch your legs. Also has a RV/Trailer dumping station.
Very pretty rest area for travelers. For Rvers, there is a free dump station donations are accepted. Also has information office. Easy in/out access. Well kept. Restrooms are clean. Would recommend for a break from driving.
Great place to visit with lots of information about the surrounding area.
Nice good stop had picnic
We had a nice walk with our dog (on leash) for about a mile maybe more. There were a couple spots along the river where our dog could swim. The walk way is concrete ... Cool on the dogs feet. I dont know how long the trail is but it sure was nice! This was our 1st visit ... More to come!
Loved it cute and my dog loved it,everyone needs a break and as u travel stop to relax enjoy the hiking, seatting ,bathrooms,it was all awesome

Great park
A must stop and spread your legs! Even had a little water spiket in the middle of dog area with clean water to cool off dogs with.
Bison babies and their nursing mothers along with the "daddy bison". Three enormous elk also in the same pen. Very nice and clean bathrooms.
Beautiful park! Great walking trails and views of Bear River. Picnic tables along the river.
Great place to go for a walk or picnic, see the Buffalo see the elk, take your dog. Beautiful walk
Very nice
The kids loved the Buffalo.
Beautiful scenery and wildlife. Clean bathrooms!
Love this park, it's nice for running, biking, or just going on a lazy walk along the river. The animals and wildlife is always a nice treat
Nice place to stretch and see buffalo.
Nice trails. Nice bison.
What's not to like? Buffalo, walking paths, playgrounds, free dump and fill station, visitors center, free internet, a river, clean bathrooms, nice picnic areas, and always clean and neat. My only complaint is that drinking and cleaning water was hard to find. I just hope Evanston comes to it's sensed and doesn't ruin it by putting a detention center next to it.
Beautiful little park, nice walking trail, lots of parking and picnic tables and grills. Currently snow all over the ground but they keep the road and parking stalls cleared. It’s nice to go out and see the bison and elk. Haven’t had a chance to walk the full trail, waiting for it to warm up a little more but overall it’s been a fun place to visit.
Nice visitor center. Friendly helpful staff.
Love seeing the animals and great people work there
Great place to stop and strech out on long drives the view is gorgeous
Great place to hang out at. Walking trails fishing eating areas.. just a beautiful place to go see.
