One of our favorite Maine State Parks. Quiet, well buffered campsites, and always relaxed and safe for the kids to wander or ride bikes around the park. The park has a great trail system to get back and forth to the playground and beach, without having to start up the car, or just to take a walk with the dogs. Been coming here for years.

Beautiful state park! We have never camped here but frequent the beach.. the beach is always clean with a lifeguard on duty.. nice, recently built playground for kids to play on and a boat launch near by to put your boat in easily. Very nice beach overall!! No too expensive to get in for the day either.

I go here ever year and love it. Has adventure and movie night for family, quiet and relaxing place for everyone. There is also a lot to see outside the campground area. Like Coon's Canyon, water streams to get wet and take beautiful pictures.

Beautiful.I camped the last week in Aug. one year The park was pretty much deserted. The Ranger said the families were gone, getting ready for school. It was warm enuf to swim in Webb Lake and a bit of color too. I hope to go back sometime.Best foliage spot in the state is the other east side of Webb Lake near the Ranger Office looking SE A great view of mountains Lake. Spectacular. Coos Canyon and Rangely Lake area is nearby and nice also. I hope to return sometime in thefuture. Rangely has some excellent scenic views. Much less crowded than NH in the foliage season. That is not far from Mt BSP.

Great campground for the family. They have a movie night a few times a week that is outside and shows a family movie. You can also go on a owl walk at night which is great fun with the kids. There is a new playground that is super. The swimming area is shallow and sandy. The showering area is up to date and clean. The price is great also. I would recommend this camping area to anyone who enjoys the outdoors and wants to be with there kids with out there cell phone working :)
