Not my first rodeo. I've owned and redone 5 homes, so I've worked with several contractors over the state. But.. these guys would get 10 stars if I could!! Mike's communication is impeccable, from the use of technology to clarify costs and coverage, to prompt responses with certainty, respect, and humor. His crew is the most hard-working and meticulous I've seen. In just one week they have done what they said they would do, did a great job, and tended to many details in this complete kitchen demo in an old, many layered, crooked little house. He'll be my go to from now on, as he has made this nearly stress-free. Can't wait for them to come back! I couldn't be happier with their work, and I'm not all that easy to please. In fact, I passed on something he recommended and now know he was right. Trust him.

This summer, About Coatings painted our kitchen cabinets, interior ceiling, and all of our exterior trim (some of it close to thirty feet up). They were an absolute pleasure to work with. Michael was very helpful in planning our color scheme and helping us with our paint choices, my emails were always addressed promptly (usually within an hour or two), all of the workers were careful of our belongings and neat with the paint, and they were amazingly understanding about numerous scheduling issues on our end (we were having some other work done at the same time). (We did have to move our large things in.)When we meet Mike he did a walk through and explained everything to us. When he left I told my husband well will probably use him. We meet with more painter.
