This is/was a great review of the past... Been there for part of it.. now a rembrance of the past war days and know what soldier's had to undergo to protect America.. the United States, for which it stands..

Holly Ann Holcomb

This was a pleasant surprise. Someone clearly put a lot of effort into the displays. I would gladly visit again.

Johnny Reyes

The Engineer museum is located on Fort Leonard Wood. 495 South Dakota Avenue. Please be sure to make this a mandatory stop if you make it on post for any occasion i.e. graduation or concerts. The museum houses a collection of Engineer implements used throughout several campaigns. I've made visiting the museum a mandatory requirement for all the students that attend the 1st BDE (EN) schools. The retired CSM's that work there have a written quiz to challenge those soldiers that have had the honor become Engineers. Also, be sure to stop at the shop and purchase some wonderful Engineer themed souvenirs. All the proceeds collected assist the museum and Army Engineer Association continue to collect those rare and hard to find items that are displayed throughout the museum.

Patrick Fant

A lot of history to learn about.

Jeremy Sisk

My daughter loves exploring the museum

Richard McClelland

You wouldn't expect such a great museum to be hidden here. The attention to detail and quality of the exhibits are on par with much larger national museums I have visited. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The CBRN section is full of history that dates back to the beginning of the chemical corps and is a great tribute to those that have served in its ranks. I would recommend visiting this museum.

Brian Brumfield

Engineers Clear the Way..... This is definitely a must see if you are anywhere close in the area. I was very impressed with all the items that were there on display. I mostly enjoyed the Engineers side of the museum, being an old Sapper from the mid 80's to the mid 90's.... I absolutely loved the Engineer Store inside the museum and the conversation with everyone. The facility was exceptionally laid out, very clean, and nicely cool. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

Emanuel M

Simply a awesome history place.

Mark Watson

Perfect for a family day stroll after the warrior breakfast. Something here for everyone interested in anything military. Huge displays and plenty of information to keep entertained with. Afterwards if the weather is nice why not walknaccross the street and look at all of the military vehicles and helicopters.

This is a wonderful place to learn about the history of the U.S. Army Engineer Corps. The are many things that I myself, being an engineer had not known. Everyone I visit there is something new to see. Make sure if your are in the Fort Leonard Wood area for a while, you stop in and take a look. I am sure you will be impressed. There's a gift shop on the grounds and the Regimental Room is a sight to see in itself.

While the Engineer and Chemical museums are well thought out and developed, the MP museum is nothing like it was on Fort McClellan.

Jacqueline Ward, Ed D

It was interesting to walk thru and see names familiar to me, what they did to contribute to our local and national betterment. Names like Schroeder, grandparent to a dear friend, Anne, who also did much for our current town when she served in our county seat. The only thing I found out of place is the monument in memorializing the dismantling of the Wall under Reagan's proclamation to Gorbachev. It seems so hypocritical that the GOP leader said, "if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization, ...tear down this wall!" Once the GOP understood we are stronger together, embracing the global economic community, we are stronger when we enact legislation that is fiscally responsible. But now that they have been overrun by the swamp, lobbyists in charge of the agencies who they once either opposed or tapped for selling their products/services. The deficit has skyrocketed with no end in sight- new legislation proposing to remove the ceiling for the new two years while the liar in Chief taps the budget to build his vanity wall that all data proves is the most costly and least effective option - completely throwing away the last positive legacy they claim as positive. Seeing that monument reminded me of the true hypocrisy that has ensnared us all...fiscal spending rivaled only by the roaring 20s. What happened next?

Heather Pack

Very well set up. People are helpful & friendly. Quite educational!

Allison Richardson

The museum is a lot larger then you think walking in and we were able to spend over an hour here. It is free to get in and walk around. Being able to spend some time is important when you are here for family day and there is nothing else to do during a cold winter day.

Mariel Quirindongo

Historic site. It's wonderful everything is rotulated and in order.

Loved the history here. Great place to roam quietly and enjoy the experience of what all goes into a military campaign.

Matthew Brown

Covers the history of engineers in the U.S. Army from the Revolutionary War to the present day. Want to know why our rivers don't flood every year, or the things the Army needs to construct to succeed in a war zone? This is the place for you. If you know any Army engineers, this is a great place for them to tell you about their roles and what they mean to them. Maybe you'll even run into an exhibit dedicated to efforts they took part in.

Shiloh Woods

Great place to stop in and walk through while visiting FLW. MP, Engineer, and Chemical have gift shops where families and friends can purchase unique gifts. It is worth the trip to walk through military history.

Billy Mouser

Amazing. If you are at FLW, do NOT pass the Museum by! The gentleman in the gift shop was incredibly polite, asking everyone where they were from and wanting to know the answer, not just inquiring.

Joe Maxwell

Definitely worth stopping through when visiting the post for a graduation or for the traveling military buff. It's a top notch museum compared to most other posts and has a really outstanding regimental room for the engineers. The MA and chemical rooms have their own flavor - MP is much more modern/office-like, and the chem room feels like a "Fireside Chats" and has an FDR presidential feel to it. Staff is great. Highly knowledgeable and passionate. And the regimental shops are absolutely worth checking out for whatever your affiliation is. I come through about every quarter because I live here, but if you've ever had a connection to any of the maneuver support branches or an interest in general military history, it's a great (and free) experience.

Donald Brown

Loved the museum. The history lesson I will take away the most
