You have the opinions of people like you who consumed the services and products of Hollywood Wax Museum® (Museum) in California.
At this moment this firm has a score of 4.3 stars out of 5 and this score has been based on 2899 reviews.
As you can see its rating is quite good, and it's based on a very large number of reviews, so we can conclude that the evaluation is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to value when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to place tatings when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Museum belongs to the category of Tourist attraction.
I love the place. Turned out to be a lot more fun that initially anticipated. Some of the wax didn't reassemble the stars but oh well.... Was still fun
It's just ok... Could have put money towards something better.
A must-see spot when you are in Hollywood. Now too crowded so you can go around and take lots of photos with your favourite stars. I bought ticket online to save time in queue
We visited Hollywood Wax Museum when we were in LA in May and had such a great time! Everyone was so helpful and kind, and the museum is also very cool.
This place is super fun!! There are tons of photo ops with the figures too which makes it even more fun! I'd go back again.
Cool place for the family. Buy the "vip tickets" with that you can go to all 3. Had fun we will go again soon
First time their and it was a cool experience.
Very amazing place
So much fun and laughs
Had so much fun with my family seeing all of the different stautes.
It's good buy too expensive.
Great place to take pics with friends and family. The props make it fun too.
Extremely pricey for the variety of celebrities they offer and some of them don't even resemble said celebrity! I guess they charge as much because it's on the touristy side of town but still not justified. I would not waste my time and money going here.
Seemed like a must do touristy thing while in Hollywood. Museum was good. Not very large but not that small either. Alot of Hollywood movie stars. Most looked just like the real person but some were way off. They have a bundle package for $15 more you can visit ripleys and Guinness world records.
Only remove angelina jolie and donald trump replace them with lady gaga abd bernie sanders
Some of the figures are incredibly and quite disturbingly realistic. But most look like giant dolls. It was quite fun inside though.
Located in the heart of crazy Hollywood. There is no specific parking for the museum so you must locate a public parking lot or a street meter. The ticket price is relatively reasonable. I enjoyed the wax figures and the props to take photos with the wax figures was cool. Some of the figures were a dead on twin of the celebrity while some had a somewhat resemblance and others were nowhere close and need to be redone (Beyonce). Overall I enjoyed it and the ticket staff were all friendly.
I love the wax museum. Had fun with the props. Enjoyed losing with stars
It's a small museum with a bunch of the wax famous people looking kinda off. I give it 3 stars because it's fun. They have outfits you can try out to make it look like your in a scene. The best part is towards the end with the cool lighting. Also they have a horror section pretty cool too. If you have 40 bucks to spend I say go for it if not you wont miss a whole lot
Fun and a good deal if you buy all three museums.
$51 for two people a little overpriced but it was pretty cool I don't think I'll go back but like I said it was pretty cool
Super realistic wax model. I was excited to see so many famous people. I took some great photos and showed them my frienns. Would highly recommend visiting if you like this type of art!
we actually didn't go cause money wise . but maybe one of these days we will go back.
Nice place to take some pictures with "celebrities"
Great museum ! We actually payed for the VIP passes $35.99 per person. It include: Hollywood Wax Museum •Guinness World Records Museum •Ripley's Believe It or Not! Majority of the wax figures looks dead on like the actors or the musician. Some look creepy!
Great experience. Kids had a blast and we ended up staying there longer than expected. Highly recommend checking out.
Super fun time with my family. Recommend!
A neat experience, some of the figures I needed the name plaque to figure out who they were.
If you've never been go and dont for get to see the Guinness world records.
First time there make sure you get a coupon to get your kids in free it definitely makes it worth it but overall it's fun to take pictures with Frank Sinatra
Great tourist attraction, the wax people almost look lifelike. They have props you can use to take pics with the wax figures and I believe it is $20 a person to get in. A must see if you are visiting Hollywood.
It's a smaller building, but there was a lot to it and really fun! There's a horror room which was my personal favorite, but they had a good variety of actors, comedians and musicians throughout the rest of the building. There were prop stations at some of the scenes which allowed for interactive photos. The figures were really life-like and overall was just a fun place to be
I had an awesome time. My first time in LA and I decided to see the stars, well to see their waxed duplicates. The staff were polite and professional. You can stay touring in there as long as you want.
Best value do all three attractions
It's nice that they open late, I was walking on Hollywood Blvd with my friends when we saw it and decided to go in on a whim. Definitely a fun experience and the probs they have around the place are great for posing with the statues. Definitely recommend it.
unique experience for tourists. out of town, see celebrity wax models some of them look so real its remarkable to see the detail. even unique for locals to check out too
It is a very enjoyable guided tour, following the false lines of Madame Trusseau and taking care of the smallest details. the price, not even expensive, is worth it. Being a VIP for a day, feeling like a world-renowned actor or actress and imagining yourself in a movie set. you can be all this when you find yourself on the most famous street in the world
I had never been to a wax museum before even though I live in New Orleans and they have some here! I guess I never realized how incredibly realistic they are! It was truly amazing to see the artwork & fine details that went into each masterpiece! Even if the designs are digitally produced and much easier than they used to be, someone STILL has to design the piece. Someone still has to get the perfect skin tone, variations, imperfections, fine details, the hair, body, clothes and even the posture!!! It's ALL art and HAS to be perfect for the piece to work. It was incredible!
I enjoyed walking through. Needs to be dusted. The children ruined it for me. Out of control SMH
So much fun
The museum was great. A lot of cool wax figures. Try to get your tickets via groupon you can save some money
I had good time enjoyed my day
Absolutely love this Hollywood wax museum! Everything was so realistic. The staff here were really friendly, even though it was super crowded and there were a lot of tourist here they still make sure that we got help when we needed it. I would definitely visit this place, great place for tourists
Don't waste your money. The work is not as good as Madame Tussauds! Some of the wax works don't even look right.

Super weird but cool!
the wax replicas are so life like.
It was a fun experience. First time to go to a wax museum, a lot of them were pretty accurate but there were some that I had to question who it was. My daughter loved it though and that's all that matters.
Great attractions for 60, 70's and 80's error
Pretty cool museum. Worth checking out.
I loved the three museums in one. Wished the street was safer and clean. So worth having a few hours of fun with family.
Honestly a tourist trap, but I really do enjoy the realism of the characters.
Great opportunity for great pictures!
I used to go to this place all the time It had a lot of neat things inside lots of the statues from different movie Titles And I enjoyed going in there ....the one thing I liked about it the most where's the gold glittery car that sat outside with Frankenstein sitting inside. I hate that they shut it down and did something else with it ...and they had an auction and sold all the statues from inside and they turn that place in the something else now I wish they would have left it there it was such a neat place to go. There is another wax museum in California that is open this one they shut down was in buena park and I think the other 1 is that's open is in Los Angeles
Nice museum. Some of the characters don't really look like themselves, however I did the 3 for 1 deal and got more bang for my buck. It was still fun playing with the wax figures there's many sections that have props where you can dress up and get into character. It's not better than Madame Toussands however much more cost effective.
This is a ok museum. Honestly, the statues don’t really look like the originals, i have seen much better in other similar places.
The figures so realistic
The place was nice, however, one of the guys in front was rude and unprofessional toward foreigners. They need to have better customer service
I had never been there before and was pleasantly surprised to see Jack Black as Nacho Libre. Also enjoyed the Vitameatavegamin exhibit.
It's so nice! And awesome
Originally I didn’t really want to go but my girlfriend convinced me to go. I’m happy I did, it was a lot of fun. I’d highly recommend to any one.
The wax figurines really looked like the real person. The details of the artists are all on point. I also loved the ambiance of the place.
So amazingly fun and cool.
Really fun to be able to take pics with the figures
Its cool but I thought it would have more to see. I was quick...
Cool place to come n take da family n trip out on all da cool stuff n wonderful art work...not to mention u can get da package deal n go to not only 1 museum but 3 n get more for ur money...
Had a fun time here with my boyfriend, it's amazing how well done are the wax figures, took pictures like crazy of my favorite actors, it takes about 30 to 45 minutes to go through the whole museum and if you paid $35.99 per person you get to visit 3 museums wax, Ripley and Guinness.
Nice attraction, a good selection of stars and I would recommend.
Fun hanging out with the wax figures of former and present stars. Some replications are better than others but fun none the less.
So nice walking over there and stores around
The place is small. It doesn’t contain much figures. Some of them you won’t recognize its person if you don’t read the name. I had been to different wax museums, and I wasn’t impressed by this one at all. A good activity to do while you are in Hollywood though. Make sure you buy the tickets in advance ( at least two days prior to your visit) from a third party since is cheaper especially for large group.
Just don't expect the figures to look exactly like the stars and you'll enjoy it, a little pricey IMO
Had a nice time love the one in San Francisco wax sculptures were alot better
I liked this place
It was cute and a fun time with the family but is definitely priced too high for what it is. Some of the wax figures weren't even done all that well.
There are only a handful of figures that look realistic. Needs to be updated.
Super fun place to act like a kid and see some stars lol
Cool place. Horror section best. Some wax figures are perfect!
I was a little sad. To find out selena wasn't there after i paid. I only went to go see selena. Which she was moved. I mean i still had fun
This place is so fun, I have been here 3 times!! So life like and interactive. And they keep getting better with more interactive sets. Good price for the fun and the amount of time it takes to go through. Plan a few hours especially with kids! A must when you are in Hollywood
Very cool place even the kids enjoyed it!!!
Just tourist attraction, was expecting more
Came here as part of my visit to LA this Labor Day -2019. The museum is having very natural statues of famous figures. Worth of visit. I surprised how they could be made so natural.
They had a lot of wax figures that looked good, but it was a really small amount of them. I think it's a little overpriced for 10 minuets of wax people.
It's so nice to see your favorite Hollywood Stars but not have to hear their political views.
Very fun place to be .my kids had fun taking photos.
Lots of fun seeing how much the wax figures really look like the real deal!! My husband enjoyed it so much most of our puctures are of him and the figures.
Some of the waxy versions of celebrities are better than others, but definitely made for an interesting visit
Clean accessible restrooms. Elevator and ramps are available. They have a deal for three different museums. Wax statues are awesome and lifelike. Props are available for photos. If you're new to the area, finding an all day parking is key (about 20 dollars). There's a lot to see on Hollywood Blvd.
Most of the figures don't loom like the celebrity they are supposed to look like. They have a disco type room with prince at the end....its very vibrant and musical. It was the best space in whole museum. There were also nice spots to take cool pictures. Overall it was a fun experience but not worth the price in my opinion. I would be happy to pay a bit more for better quality figures .
Was nice experience, must have id with your debit card though
Great place to hang around
Pretty cool place
It's really cool your even allowed to touch the wax stars. They have props you can also use for photos. They are pretty cool. I enjoyed it. But buy the pass for all three museum's. Two are next door to each other and there's one across the street. Ripley's believe it or not, and Guinness book of world records. Awesome
This place is fun and unique. Good place to go to be entertained for a couple hours by fun facts and figurines. If you bring quarters you can play and shooting game inside. Also we went near the end of the open hours and had the whole place to ourselves, a nice bonus.
Pretty decent for the money. Some of the figures were spot on, others were way off. We had fun though!
Very short and underwhelming, many contemporary figures are missing
Visiting this place was a lot of fun for the whole family. I loved all of the wax figures and the different props. The museum was quite affordable as well and had a variety of celebrities. I especially loved the horror exhibits and the dark area!
unique experience for tourists. out of town, see celebrity wax models some of them look so real its remarkable to see the detail. even unique for locals to check out too
Hollywood classic. You have to go to the Hollywood wax museum when on vacation in Hollywood. The wax figures are amazing. Maybe I'm easily impressed but it was interesting to see. It's not a big museum but it was fun. We went with a big group of friends and we all had fun checking out the wax figures.
Fun place to spend some time.
made a family day of it I had to say it was pretty fun to get to see all of the wax celebrities
Cool to see good works for famous people
Good to see wax statues with exactly the same shape and size of a lot of celebrities as it is real.
Ist time for me even though I live in the area for years. It's small but clean and set up with interesting trivial items. The bathroom is worth a visit too.
Adventurous, fun, & exciting...I even had a moment to have my 5 minutes walk of fame. Differently must see!
Great tourist site.
The museum was a lot of fun. I love that you can put on a jacket or hat and take a picture. I highly recommend it
Had a great time love that you can use the props.
Very nice, but take into c9nsideration that this is not Madam Tussauds museum.
Visiting this place was highly anticipated by my family and I, it was tons of fun to see the wax figures and the place wasn't too crowded. The only thing is that the figures themselves aren't that realistic....but it's still a blast!
I take a lot of people here. Have been for years. Whenever someone visits I take em here. It never changes really. It's cool because you get all 3 museums, but they hardly change. This time I entertained myself by putting a joint on the dummies. Here's a few, see if you can find the j!
LOVE IT! Take a selfie with life-size wax counterparts your celebrity faves. Beyoncé and Jeniffer Aniston looked a little off though, sadly.
Typical wax Museum like madamme Toussant
Awesome Wax Museum. This is one of the iconic Hollywood and Los Angeles things to do. If you live here, youve probably been, if you are passing through or just moved here you have to go. Really great experience. You will probably be in and out in an hour or so. TOns of parking near by. Great places to go after, eat, shop, drink etc. Check it out!
The place to see terrible semi-likenesses of actors in outdated settings. This place badly needs a makeover.
This was a rough one to rate because value has to go into account. I happened to get tickets in a fundraising auction that also got me into the Guinness World Record museum across the street. At the regular $25.99 price, I probably would have given this only 2 stars. BUT there is an option that is $35 for both museums PLUS the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum (which I didn’t go to) and that is a much better deal... so this review assumes you did that. The wax museum was fun. There are a lot of cool scenes and a lot of selfie stations with props (that one can only hope are thoroughly washed). The wax figures themselves aren’t nearly as good as what I remember at the NY Madame Tussaud’s. Those were unreal and these are more like... oh... I see it. But it was still very fun and the scenes were cool. It definitely has that janky charm. You’re not going to spend more than an hour here so that’s why you should really hit all three of the museums.
This place was so much fun! it's interactive so you and pose with most of the wax figures! It was awesome to be a kid again!
Really amazing wax figures and well detailed.
Had a good time definitely will be going back
Waste of money. The figures are horribly done.
I got the most beautiful photo up there :)
It's ok for kids but not for Adults. I think they should do better than this. Some not look like real movies stars but you can tell who is.
The props made the experience better but a little to short & was exp to see more star figures but overall I enjoyed it!
Great, only a few looks somewhat real. I had a free ticket from someone, but i wouldn't have paid.
Nice place to see some old hollywood history !
museum in Hollywood is like a 1st time everyday there is always new to see and contribute too full of a great vibe mostly
Great place for kids and adults.
The place is really nice. I just hope they add more statues.
Just a fun place
This place was so much fun. Most of them look so real. The prop turn this into an interactive adventure. Cool place to visit. We loved it.
Had a blast with the stars there were a few that looked life like. Love that you had several opportunities to pose with a scene.
So many wax figures and the package with Ripleys is a great deal
We had a blast doing all 3 places.... Wax Museum, Ripley's Believe it or Not, & Guiness world records.
It's really cool to visit the wax museum, they are bunch of suits so you can dress like the actual wax figures and take crazy pictures
It was a lot of fun...we are going back to see more.
It was my first time here its fun.. The kids had fun... And u get to visit other 2 locations so that's a plus...
Millions and millions of people have flocked through the doors of Madame Tussauds since they opened their first Wax Museum over 200 years ago, and it remains just as popular as it ever was. There are many reasons for this enduring success, but at the heart of it all is good, old-fashioned curiosity.
Was always scared to come to wax museum because of the movie house of wax haha but def a fun experience if your with friends
Loved it just a little more than the 'other one' up the boulevard.
Awesome place to check out for yourself.
beautiful place and good price (get combo ticket for only $40)
Its kinda small in there but it was nice because it wasnt that busy when I went (Thursday evening). Some of their statues look unrealistic but h can pose with them and take cool pictures. There are other museums in the vicinity as well but I just did the wax museum due to time.
I am a big fan of wax museums and this place has a lot of great movie stars to see.
So much fun!
Nice setup.. Great statues of wax of celebrities which looks real..!!
Pretty fun, good sized museum. Just don't get too close cause the figurines will not look right
AMAZING
Awesome replicas of wax figures and can take pictures with your favorite celebrity wax figure.
The horror chamber was amazing, I ended up visiting on a time when there were not too many people. Just going through that part alone was probably my favorite. Otherwise just another wax museum.
Love that there's AC in the place and that the disgusting smell of LA doesn't come inside the museum. It was really fun to walk around the horror hall especially.
Loved it!! I wish I would have known there are two different wax museums. Will definitely visit the other wax museum on my next visit.
The hollywood wax museum is an amazing experience. The characters inside bring the big screen to life, and make it real, solid, and, waxy. Well worth the admission, and for a similar price, you can also enter the Ripley’s believe it or not, and world record Museum on the same ticket.
