We have the feddbacks of real people who consume the products and services of Besh-Ba-Gowah Museum (Museum) in the area close to the state of Arizona.

At this moment the firm has a rating of 4.7 stars over 5 and the rating is based on 200 reviews.

As you can see it reaches an feddbacks average is practically the highest, and it's based on a very high number of reviews, so we can conclude that the valuation is very reliable. If many people have bothered to evaluate when they are satisfied with the service, is that it works.

You know that we don't usually bother to write feddbacks when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...

Worth going in and learning about history

This site of the well-preserved remains of a pueblo of the Salado people rivals just about any other archaeological ruins I've visited in the American Southwest. A must-see event hosted here annually is the Festival of Lights in which hundreds of luminaria (paper bags emanating with light) are arranged around the property. It's a one-night-only festival generally occurring the weekend before Christmas. It's an enchanting experience for the whole family!

Cheryl Bartlett

My Girl Scout Brownies were so excited to explore the village. The day before we had taken them to the cliff dwellings at Tonto Monument. The older girls enjoyed reading the signs to the younger girls. The movie shown to us was a great way to start the tour too.

“You see the copper mine of the area everywhere. Learn the history!” Pretty cool to think this area was mined for copper thousands of years ago by Native Americans and now it is mined by modern Americans. Its a small site but packed with information and ruins to study. I take my whitewater river guides from the nearby Upper Salt River Canyon each year to reacquaint themselves with some of the local history to share on the raft trips. Enjoy!

Chris E

Self guiding tour of partially restored Salado masonry Pueblo. Very interesting. Information about local plants and how the native Americans used them. There was also a museum with artifacts and a movie, gift shop and book shop.

This is a neat stop if you are passing through! There is an informational video and very small museum inside, and then you can walk through the ruins. It doesn't take long to see it at all, but if you are looking to stretch your legs after sitting in the car for a while, it's perfect for that.

Bashful Baybee

Derek Miltimore

Hands down, one of the best archaeology sites I have been to.. the interior of the structure is one of the best reconstructions I've seen in the southwest. Its a shame access to the upper level is not a possibility anymore because of liability reasons, but I completely understand their reasoning. Its hard enough keeping an archaeology site alive, toss injuries into the mix and its a wrap. I am very glad I convinced my family to make the detour here and will return.

Bob Lee

The museum was better than the ruins. Even though some archeology has been done so many questions remain.

Cheyenne Gbur

Interesting place. Affordable. Be prepared for some walking. Trails are well maintained and easily accessible for those who have trouble walking. Multiple places along trail available to take a break if needed. Picnic tables in shady areas avail too.
